people who aggressively hate kpop really be like 'every kpop singer is a mass produced, lab grown sex slave with no personhood or agency' and don't see the problems with generalising everyone producing music under kpop as robotic, soulless and with no agency. it's telling people can't look at kpop as a nuanced industry with good and bad artists within it like they can with western pop, instead people just view it and all the artists as one monolith.

TEA!! What also annoys me the most is the misconception of the kpop music, I remember one post said shit like “how can you people listen to these manufactured pop songs with no meaning”. Its so demeaning and disrespectful to the people who put work into everything created under the “kpop” label.
