I object to labelling antisemitic leftists "pro-pals" as an insult because

1. "You believe Palestinians should be free!" isn't a very effective insult

2. It's also not the problem with this type of leftist. The antisemitism is the problem and it's hard enough keeping the focus on that when it's only the antisemites who are trying to deflect

3. Calling them "pro-Palestinian" is, frankly, fucking generous considering their typical attitude towards pro-peace or anti-Hamas Palestinians

4. It also lumps actual pro-Palestinian people in with the antisemites

5. If, somehow, none of that has swayed you, then I'll just point out that turning "pro-Palestinian" into a derogatory term just backs up the excuses these antisemites like to make for themselves
