Anyway. This is about my personal theories/headcanons about the vision requirements

If we're going religious trauma it should be Lae'Zel/Shadowheart/Gale.

I'm a Lae'Zel/Shadowheart shipper mainly, just because of the banters, ennemy-to-lovers and the parallells between the two. (Both betrayed vy their belief, through no act of their own). They are very complementary.

But Shadowheart and Gale? They bestie. They drink together, bitch about the camp, snark together (well Shart snark and Gale listen). They arr epitome of gay/lesbian solidarity. (They're very bisexual, but you get what I mean)

(To be honest, I don't hc Gale as someone who do relationship. He's some flavour of aro-ace. Very intellect based. The only relationship was with the literal godess of his lifecraft)

I see your Shadowheart/Lae'zel, and Astarion/Gale, and I raise you.... Shadowheart/Gale. The religious trauma duo. Has anybody else been thinking about this like I have?

Both of them have been used by their Goddesses, both (potentially, for Shadowheart) discarded by them for not meeting esoteric/cruel expectations.

Anyone? Anyone?

The Morrigan/Leliana to Lae'zel/Shadowheart pipeline is so, so real

Hope it's true, cause I like the dude but I'm very tires of qtumbling into a romance when trying to be a good friend/comrade.

Isn't her birth name an important part of her character? Not so much the name than what it represent.

[Birth name] is who she could/would have been has Shar not meddled.

The use of her birth name is truly something I want to explore in a fic later on. What rapport she has to it, how does she use it and what she does with it. I think she would reclaim it. Bit by bit. Entrusted to those she care, somehing private. Try to incorporate what she could have been into what she's. Her whole story is about constructing herself. Reeinventing herself with what little she has. I think she would see Shadowheart as what she was made into, by life and experience, and her birthname as what she is, deep down. Her love for animals by example. Soemthing they couldn't break from birthname.

I don't know if my ramblibg is coherent, but names are important to Shadowheart story and evoke a lot of thing.

Maybe she would take another name, once all is done. Something all her own. Not a Sharran name, not a birthname of could have been, but a name chosen, of what is and will be.

My tav is a black dragonborn. Her name is Xhenarhsk Sheotarhsk, or just Xena to non dragonborn. Some sound and phonems are hard to say for regular humanoid.

Her clan is from a mountain chain making the limit between a desert and a forest, both inhabited by an allied dragonborn clan.

Their territory is rich in minerals. They developped metal crafmanship, and welcomed tiefling in their territory. Their trading outpost soon developped into a proper town, well known for their metalwork, and the uncommon diversity of races found, Dragonborn and Tiefling being commonsight.

Xena grew up here, she was trained in the monk art, because all dragonborn are taught martial skill in addition to their craft. She herself is a decent metalworker, but she worked in Baldur's gate as a merchant, exporting her city and clan metalwork, and forewarding commission.

Like nearly all dragonborn, she's proud of her clan. She's very open, judging upon the actions of an individuals. Placing Honor and Clan high on her value, in many way she's a good representative of her kind, with her live and let live attitude, until they violate either her principles (child murder, slavery or rape) or stand in her way.

Still, this culture of only judging one actions and the very specific type of morals that dragonborn have make for a good buffer to deal with eccletic party member and situation she kept stumblibg accross since this ill fated ilithid kidnapping.

Does anyone else have a fairly happy backstory for their Tav? My Tav (Rhiannon) is a half elf abjuration wizard from a large fairly happy family.

Her father and mother have a successful alchemist/apothecary shop. She is the second of five siblings. An older brother (Theon) who is training to take over the family business (he was the only one interested). A twin sister (Gwyneth) who is apprenticing with the Gondians to become an artificer. And 2 younger brothers, Alphonse is a flaming fist and the baby Finn who is a bard. It’s a very loud bickering household but very warm and loving.

Rhiannon wanted to become a wizard ever since she read stories about Elminster (big deal when she met him). In game she is an abjuration wizard ,but really she is a archivist wizard. She loves books and artifacts and wants to help preserve and spread knowledge.

She and her brother Finn went to Silverymoon to study. He went to the Collge of Fochlucan and she went to the Lady’s College. I HC that she was at the Blackstaff Ball Gale mentioned and they had a dance ,but he didn’t remember her until the tiefling party. She went to Waterdeep with her brother and his Bard friends who snuck in.

Before being captured by the Nautiloid she had just started her journey to Candlekeep to visit the great library.

Rhiannon loves dancing, history, spicy food and smutty romance novels.

I also love romancing Gale as a wizard because of the bickering about magic and who wrote what.
