I now headcanon that "Don" in "Don Karnage" is not a title, it's just short for Donzel

The name meaning even matches his ego

Oliver and Company cast progress with comparisons
http://bludhavenbird.tumblr.com/post/6496818372/oliver-and-company-cast-progress-with-comparisons
These are the preliminary sketches so please try to disregard their crudeness for the most part.

Tito: Generally easy, put the cut on the wrong ear though. Added some of the classic ‘mustache’ a lot of younger hispanic guys tend to have. Hardest part was his eyes, which still need work. He’ll probably end up wearing his headband, a tank top, and I dunno about the pants, what do you all think?
Dodger: Now Dodger’s probably the hardest. Unlike some of the other characters his face isn’t so defined that I can almost caricature-ize it. I imagine him to still be pretty young, stubbly. His hair was hair because he lives on the streets so he really shouldn’t be spending that much on styling his hair or getting it cut, so it’s a bit of a mess, and I included the cowlick-y stand up hairs on the top. Kept the same eyebrows. What’s going to trouble me most is his wardrobe and how to incorporate the bandanna. I almost just gave him a white/red hoodie. But I think I’ll just try out the bandana with a white t-shirt and occasional use of a brown or white/red jacket as well. I dunno. Thinking of going with sneakers or busted up converse and some worn jeans.
Roscoe and Desoto: Turned these guys into loan-sharks themselves. Swapped the collars for jewelry and originally had them looking like twins with zero facial hair. Todd suggested I give them a more ‘thug’ look though, so I added in the beards. One thing I try to do with all the designs is leave reminisce of their original body types so these guys have very small, angled ears and broad necks/shoulders. This guys will just end up in black suits for the most part.

Francis: I usually have trouble with older people, but at the same time they’re a lot more fun than younger ones because they have more room to play around and not worry about making them ‘good-looking’. I based Francis’ design off Danny DeVito, and besides the hair I like it for the most-part. I kind of imagine him as a failed Broadway actor. No idea what he’s going to wear.
Einstein: I knew from the start Einstein was going to be the oldest of the bunch, mostly because of Roscoe’s ” Like you, old man?” comment towards him in the movie. He’s older, with grey hair and the mustache leaves reminisce of his great dane overlapping muzzle, just like how part of his hair flops over like one of his ears. I imagine him in an old T-shirt and dirty grey trench coat. Ugh, so many T-shirts in this cast, oh well. This was produced in ‘89

Rita: Rita was thankfully really easy because her hairstyle was easily derivable from her original design! Her clothes’ll be more tricky though. Thinking of going with an over the shoulder top, thanks to a lot of great suggestions from you guys. :o
Oliver: Oliver was also surprisingly easy, and hey he actually turned out cute! I feel horrible for not having too much to say about either of these two, but their designs were relatively easily drawn out (to my relief) so uh, here you go!
Thanks for your time, hope you enjoyed seeing these as much as I did drawing them. :>
