Been watching Meitantei Holmes/Sherlock Hound. It’s rather enjoyable! I’m not a big fan of Sherlock Holmes, but this series is cute, amusing and lovely so I am loving every second of it! (It’s also what basically resulted in me enjoying The Great Mouse Detective.)

In this scene, Holmes/Hound (I’ll just call him Holmes) and Watson were asleep on separate chairs. When the doorbell sounded, Watson, in a half-asleep state, got up saying he’d go answer the door (though Mrs. Hudson is doing so), tripped over, fell onto Holmes’ lap and went right back to sleep. Mrs. Hudson was amused at the sight, and I really can’t help but wonder how those two reacted upon waking in such a state.

I LOVE the Baker Street Trio (Holmes, Watson, Mrs. Hudson) and Polly (from the episode with the Blue Ruby/Blue Carbuncle). I kept thinking that if she were adopted by either of the Baker Street Trio, all four of them would make such a darling family! As it was, I got vibes of Papa Sherlock, Uncle John and Mama Marie! XD

Mrs. Hudson is so cool in this series! You do NOT want to mess with her!!

But, really, loving every second of this.

Anticipating they’d be heading out, Mrs. Hudson had prepared sandwiches. Watson was eating most of them while Hound spoke with their client. Eventually, Hound found his chance and took it, taking the last two and having them in one go. As you can see, Watson is unimpressed. Hound’s swallowing in the last pic, but doesn’t it look like he’s also silently amused and pleased?

I found this scene absolutely adorable! ‘The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle’ is definitely one of my favourite episodes, it’s so charming and Polly is just loveable!

I still wish she’d been adopted into the Baker Street Family after I kept getting vibes of Papa Sherlock, Mama Marie and Uncle John.
