I've never been more ashamed of being Russian than today. I wish I could do more. I feel like I've allowed this to happen. This is so fucking horrific. I'll be going to protests. I hate myself knowing that my insufficient action may have contributed to this.

being a non native english speaker and having picked it up through a lot of different things is pretty funny because you end up using words like “y’all” and “whilst” in the same sentence. keeps native speakers on their toes
