➢ You’re humming to a song that’s playing on your phone while stirring a pot of your favourite soup 

➢ There’s a soft pad pad pad of socks on the wooden floor, and the next thing you know, walla! There’s a pair of arms wrapped around your waist 

➢ “I’m home.” 

➢ He takes a moment to just rest his head on your shoulder because he’s tired and he just wants to stand there and hold you forever 

➢ If you tell him to do something (e.g “Can you grab some eggs from the fridge, Keiji?) he would do it instantly without complaint no matter how tired he is 

➢ If not he’ll stand there for a while, then he would probably ask if there’s anything he can do to help 

➢ Imagine him standing in the middle of the kitchen looking very lost as he stands there with two eggs, one in each hand, and his hair is just very slightly tousled and- 

➢ You laugh at how confused he looks (Despite contrary belief, Keiji purely survived on takeout, instant noodles and coffee when he was in university and has very little knowledge on how to cook)

➢ Tell him what to do and he’ll follow everything you say to the tiniest details and he’ll store away everything in his cooking-tips-from-y/n folder inside his brain

➢ (Once, you were in the toilet and he was alone in the kitchen, cracking some eggs. He accidentally dropped a small piece of egg shell inside the bowl, this man legit stood there for a minute having a mid-life crisis. When you came back from the toilet, Keiji was standing there with a pair of tweezers in his hand, very carefully lifting the egg shell from the bowl)

➢ Tries to be as helpful as he can be, really, he’s trying, but this man seriously survived on convenience store meals in university and that’s about as far he can go for a meal 

➢ Will look very guilty if you tell him you can handle things

➢ Kiss him on the cheek and ruffle his hair, tell him to go take a bath and he will definitely feel a lot more better, always promises to do the dishes because he thinks that it’s only fair 

➢ After he’s lived with you for a decent amount of time, he’s picked up a few skills and now when he comes home he instantly puts on an apron (What I would give to see him in one <3 ) and immediately helps you to stir whatever you’re cooking at the moment so you can turn your attention to other things 

➢ He’s very proud of how far he’s come in terms of cooking :) 

➢ You’re very proud of him too! 

➢ You almost cried that time you came home late from work and he ended up preparing the meal instead, it was decent, which was great for his first time cooking without your supervision 

➢ Akaashi’s the best husband material ever and no one can convince me otherwise >:)

Akaashi: *wraps his arms around your waist* I’m home. How was work? Mmm, the usual. *nuzzles his head into your shoulder* Smells good. I love when you cook [favourite soup]. And the onigiri you made for me to bring to work today was nice. I enjoyed it. Maybe I can wake up early to make onigiri with you tomorrow morning. *kisses your neck* I love you so much. Hmm? You need meat from the fridge? Sure, I’ll go get it.
