Waffles

Y/n’s Pov:

“I’m home!” I yell as i enter my house. No reply, mhm weird. But didn’t think much of it, since joão often wears headphones with noise cancelling. So he wouldn’t be able to hear me either way.

I take off my jacket and hang it on the clothing racket, I also take off my shoes. I walk the living room and close the door behind me. As soon as I walk in the kitchen I see my boyfriend João, I walk up to him and wrap my arms around him.

“Oh hey, meu amor” he say, startled by me. He turns around and my stomach just fills with butterflies as soon as I see his cute face. [my love]

“Hey beautiful. What are you making?” I ask as I lean in for a kiss. God what was he pretty.

“I’m making waffles! How was working, on a Saturday?” He asked kind of mocking me. I was a teacher but needed to attend a important meeting, luckily i was being paid.

“It was okay. The waffles smell delicious.” I said looking in to his dark eyes. “Missed your pretty face.”

“I missed yours as well, I also did the laundry.” He said giving me a kiss. I kissed him back, giving him a wink as I left to change in to my sweats.

As soon as I got to the 2nd floor I noticed it was particularly clean, João definitely did more than ‘just laundry’ wich isn’t anything new. 

I walked into our shared bedroom, and opened our closet. I looked for a good second but didn’t see anything cute, so i looked at my boyfriends side and immediately saw something actually kind of cute. I quickly put it on, it fitted a bit tightly since I’m a bit buffer than João.

I walk downstairs being scared of his reaction, knowing he has a short temper. As I walk in the living room I see him playing Fifa with concentration. He’s good at it, it’s cute to see him concentrate. He scores, finally looking around and finally sees me. He looks blushes.

“You look great,love.” He said, as leans in to kiss me. Our lips connect.

“Thank you.” I say blushing.
