Ever Hear The Phrase: Never Meet Your Heroes?
Ever hear the phrase: never meet your heroes?
“The difference with the prequel Jedi is that they are not really anti-heroes, but they aren’t classical heroes either like Luke Skywalker or Princess Leia. They are something else, almost in-between. Unlike anti-heroes, they don’t operate from the streets or the backwaters; they aren’t vigilantes or criminals with hearts of gold. Rather they are the authority, the idealized leaders, the wise monks with the stringent code of ethics. To anyone who has seen the original trilogy, they are mythic and grand, until you actually meet them in the PT, that is. Then you witness their moral shortcomings, their blindness, their coldness; but unlike anti-heroes, these traits are not affectations to make them edgy and cool; their moral shortcomings are alarming and uncomfortable because we have been encouraged to think of them as above reproach.”

Please don’t attack normal Chinese AO3 users.
Chinese readers like myself are also desperately calling for the vote now on our own social media(weibo and qzone), what Tiffany G says doesn’t stand for Chinese Fangirls.

We are actually more concerned and scared than ever for if she won she might giveaway Chinese AO3 writers’ personal data to certain people and lead to horrible things in the real life.
SHE IS WORKING IN A GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION.

Please vote for the future of AO3 and the freedom and safety of Chinese writers. And please don’t take Tiffany as a average Chinese fangirl, don’t attack us in a dark time like this.

With so many elections coming up worldwide it's probably a good time to remind everyone that tumblr once got infested with agents trying to convince everyone not to vote, or not to vote left because the candidates weren't morally pure enough.
Also a reminder that they were better at tumblr than most of us, comrade interloper was great at memeing. Like, the talent!
Anyway don't fall for it. There is no morally pure option.
What if the Ahsoka novel is a piece of in universe Historical Fiction based off of snippets of interviews that Ahsoka gave, incomplete records, second/third/fourth hand accounts of events, redacted reports, some heavy speculation and a hefty dose of fiction?

Twitter is a literal cesspit but at least you get to see Stephen King tell elon musk to fuck off causing musk to beg Stephen King for $8
