I don't even know what this guy's talking, and I think this he does either. I'm asking how Alien is progressive and this guy is just reblogs this? Ripley is iconcic because she is smart, lucky, and copassionate that's all.
alien was actually super progressive for having an intersex icon (facehugger) be the star of the film, as well as a pissed off feminist hero (Ripley) and a nonbinary legend (xenomorph).
now granted they all spend at least part of the movie naked, but, wasn't bad for the 80s, alright?
