today i learned that when you’re eating a bagel, you should say hamotzi before cutting it, and then take a bite after putting your toppings on. even though this causes a delay between blessing and bite, the delay is permitted because eating the first bite of bread with tasty condiments honors the bracha!

I think my hyperindependence is preventing me from making close friendships bc whenever someone is interested in being friends with me I don't notice a lot of the time. bc I just do everything myself to the point that it's possibly unhealthy. I genuinely act like I can solve and do everything alone even when I logically know I need other people.

anyway related question for the tumblr extroverts: if you are extroverted and you have tons of friends, how do you feel if someone a lot more introverted wants to be friends with you? Does it feel weird because you know they won't keep up with you socially, or it is just nice to have more friends?
