please god stop talking about diets and weight loss in front of kids. especially if those kids are girls. and especially if you’re someone those kids look up to. but really just stop talking about about diets and weight loss when children are in earshot at all. I promise you you’re doing far more harm than good.

Under the Weather, Over this Shit

Okay, yes. Currently Billy was sick, very, very sick. He had a fever that was much too high and a cough that made him want to die more than the fever did. He’d spent the last few days, held up in the cave in a nest of blankets and water bottles that he kept making portals to take the backs of shelves in big chain stores. He felt somewhat bad for stealing but then he’d cough again and realize that he actually didn’t give a damn.  

Marvel had been fine with chilling in Billy’s mind and using the time to catch up on some much-needed rest (No, he didn’t need sleep, but it was nice sometimes). However, their plans of a chilled recovery in the cave were foiled by the beeping of their comm. Sure, Billy could’ve just ignored it, it was probably nothing after all, but he seriously didn’t need the league on his case about ignoring a message. He couldn’t exactly tell them he had a cold that was kicking his ass. No, he had to answer it and suck it up. 

One thing about Billy is that he was not a very likeable person when he was ill. Maybe when he was younger, and didn’t have to ignore the illness and just carry on, but not anymore. He’d learnt and adapted to be the worst that he could when he was sick, this way people avoided him, and he was harder to take advantage of… he’d learnt that lesson the hard way. 

Actually, getting up and transforming and getting to the zeta and walking to the meeting room took so much willpower that Billy just wanted to die. Even being in the completely healthy, not sick, body of Marvel did nothing to help him, Marvel had offered to take more control but the idea of being out of control of his body sent such a jolt of fear through him that he didn’t even need to voice his denial. Marvel knew and he wouldn’t push him. 

I wanna play dnd so bad 😭😭😭 why is it so impossible to play without friends who want to!? Aaaarrhhhgggg
