"oh shit call off the attack. if lord vader finds out we almost killed skywalker we're done." and luke just goes around to various rebel cells that are under siege, waltzes through the battle because no one would dare risk lord vader's wrath, and just takes a nap outside the base while the rebels do their thing. idk i just think it would be funny
