i went to an aquarium the other day and now my brain is filled with Sea Monster Foul Legacy

you visiting the aquarium often and spending hours watching Foul Legacy swim around- he's an Abyssal Sea creature, rare and often frightening to others, but to you he's absolutely beautiful with his gauzy wing-like fins and twin horns. most people can't handle being in his exhibit for more than a little while, so he remembers you by how long you like to sit on the bench and just admire him, eyes shining in delight. it's almost like having company, and Foul Legacy doesn't feel so lonely all the time. he waits for you all day, turning flips of excitement when he sees you and retreating further underwater to sulk if you don't show up

you love watching the way he swims, cutting so easily through the water- you like to clap whenever he flips or dives, the sight of his bioluminescent patterns flaring making you smile. it's quite dark in his exhibit, but he gleams bright enough to light up the entire room, bubbles drifting from his fanged maw as he chitters happily underwater. sometimes you'll go closer still, leaning against the glass between you and him and talking softly, as to not disturb the quiet peace, and he'll float beside you, doing his best to listen to every word.

because it's a lonely world, for a human and a sea monster, and there are only so many hours in the day
