In the wake of that new godforsaken danganronpa game announcement, a thread on Reddit that I shared with @saltylittlegremlin and @glowinglights2004 got us inspired to make a pretty nifty crack au (my specialty) at 1 am.

Okay but, ever realize that, even though Dexter is smaller than Daring, this guy is still muscular? And people probably don’t realize it since he dresses modestly, or covered up all the time? People surprised to know how strong he is just, he shows up, one day to class, just not in a good mood. Sparrow doesn’t help it whatsoever in glass to the point that Dexter slams his fist on the table, like others have, and it breaks in two, cracking the floor some, freaking out Sparrow who, before then, thought Dexter was a meek little dude.

darling is the strongest out of the three of them and it’s important to me that you know this. dexter is strong, he just doesn’t really flex it?? him, daring and darling have spent most of their lives training and sword fighting so they’re pretty strong. dexter is more lean than buff, daring is tall and lean/buff, and darling has bigger muscles than the two of them. she takes great pride in being able to benchpress them.

NOW

dexter is in an awful mood. there wasn’t any of his favourite cereal left for breakfast, he spent most of the morning looking for his glasses and he lost his chemythstry homework that he worked on all night. he arrives late to his first class and sparrow says “dude, you look like shit. did you do the chemythstry homework? i forgot and i have to copy yours.” and our dear soft boy. he fucking loses it. he slams his fist on the table, and it breaks. their professor looks at him in horror, as well as the other students. dexter looks sparrow deep in his eyes, takes the hall pass and goes for a walk. hopper tells daring later and daring tells darling. they both start wheezing and they find dexter later and tell him how proud they are of him. dexter gives them a soft smile and they go into the village and get coffee. he needed coffee and his siblings after the absolute shit morning he had. sparrow texts him later and says “so. chem homework?” and dexter leaves him on read. he can’t deal with this right now and he’d much rather watch how many marshmallows daring can fit into his mouth within one minute
