Luke sees Baela fall to the ground, a zombie on top of his body. He can hear Rhaena scream in panic but Luke's entire body is paralyzed. Jace is enraged and attacks the zombie with one of the drama club's wooden swords, the sword snaps in two and the Zombie, who now has his attention on Jace, jumps at him in a frenzy.

Jace is struggling on the ground and Rhaena runs to her sister's lifeless body. Luke can only hear cries of suffering, his body shaking like a leaf. It's only when he hears Jace scream in pain that something in Luke awakens. A rage, a destructive fire.

In a blink everything goes dark, when he opens his eyes, he is on the ground, his hands full of blood holding one of the halves of the wooden sword.

Rhaena looks at him in a way I've never looked at him before… She was afraid of him. Jace blinked several times, looking at him as if he were facing a stranger, apparently the zombie hadn't bitten him. Suddenly some footsteps were heard, the three became alert, their bodies tense.

A figure approached, Luke's body immediately relaxed as he realized who the person was. Which when you thought about it was kind of stupid, You didn't relax in front of someone who hated you for gouging out their eye.

'Wow, what do we have here?" Aemond stared at Luke. "Did you do it all by yourself, Taoba?"

Luke's head nodded unconsciously

"that's nice, my strong boy, next time do it in front of me, I'd like to see you."

hiii I absolutely adore your lucemond rec lists, i was wondering if I could ask if you have any fics that you think are underrated, or maybe just any fic that you’ve read recently that you’d like to rec?? any tropes are fine 💗

In my opinion anything that's not abo is pretty underrated, because nothing quite gets the same numbers in both bookmarks and hits like an omegaverse Lucemond. Also, I think my favourite things are always underrated even if realistically they have a lot of hits, I just always feel like good writing deserves more 😇 .

That being said, I really loved these and think they should get a little more action:

In all the lives I lived before this one by Anonymous: It's dreamy, surreal and well-written. Luke is in fairyland and meets Fae! Aemond. It's a little darker than I'm making it sound here. Also, fae/elf Aemond - guys the absolute potential that this has?

The Secrets We Keep by lepueya: it's refreshing when Luke has a crush first, we love to see it. Modern au, good smut too.

malediction by draconarius: from the same writer as hellbound, a university au.

slash and burn by halobolts: superhero au. Interesting premise and what are the targs if not Westerosi supes really?
