Just saw some cutscenes of Sonic Dream Team and if not for the captions I would never have guessed that Rouge was talking. What happened to her voice??? I’m so confused. Why does her voice keep getting higher every scene?

Oh my god I worked so hard on this, specifically the dumb chaos energy Shadow just uses willy-nilly like it's easy to draw. Pretty satisfied with how this turned out, even though it gets really obvious quickly that I had no intentions of ever drawing a proper background.
Oh god what have I done (I love Sonic so much I'm glad I drew him. The first couple sketches were rough but after a bit of getting used to, he became very fun to draw)

SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG:

Built, at least partially, to become a weapon of mass destruction. Watched his sister b shot to death (we can assume she was his only true friend for the few years he had been alive). Everyone else on the space colony where he was created was killed in the same government invasion that killed his sister, which the government took. Idk. Like 50-smth years to acknowledge. And all they did was go: "oops! Our bad!" (Note: the acknowledgement and apology might not b canon, I'm unsure). Was cryogenically frozen immediately after this, and in stasis for 50 years. Watched his father/creator be shot to death after his creator admits to messing with his memories and programming him (via giving him false memories of his sisters DYING WISH) for world destruction (His sister's real dying wish was that he protect the world and all it's inhabitants) (It's unclear but people mostly seem to believe that Shadow was always of the thought that his creator loved him as if he were his own son. That he believed Shadow to be an intelligent creature, with full autonomy and what-have-you. That his creator didn't think of him as a means to an end or as a mere object or weapon. And that Shadow, minutes before the world was set to explode and moments before he would watch his creator shot to death by firing squad in real time, found out that he believed wrong. Also his creator was only shot to death becuz the government found out he made Shadow and they thought that Shadow was a little too powerful). Died? Got frozen again. Has had several identity crises, got amnesia at least twice. Android armies were built designed to be exactly like him, twice. The second time he had to fight these androids, he almost died Again. Works for the Government agency that killed his sister and creator for some dumb fuck reason. Constantly outdone by a stupid blue bitch. His power is so great that if he takes off his power limiters the sheer force of energy inside him might tear him apart? That one I'm not 100% sure on the canon tho. In a "Bad Future", the world turns against him and puts him back into stasis and/or kills him (unclear) becuz they think he's too dangerous to be alive. He states that, should this future really come to fruition, he "will fight like [he] always [has]." (Fight meaning to Protect the world). In the anime, he says his favorite memory was being dead. Almost died a third time when he got trapped in a void between reality and nearly fell into a black hole. He's trapped in the void becuz Sonic (blue bitch) broke apart their world into a bunch of different shard dimensions. Shadow can only go into one of those dimensions, and it's the Bad One (he's forced to watch ghost clones of their friends be stuck forever on a single loop that repeats every few minutes in a gray-scale version of his home). For a few years he was legally not allowed to have friends. In one show, it's implied he lives alone in a cave.
