So what I understand of this episode's statement is that a guy in 1684 goes to check on what Isaac Newton's working on, sees a cool fuckin tree, gets offered fruit from it, says "no" like a pussy and freaks out about a cool bible quote, watches Newton make a dog that looks like this:

and it scares him so bad that he pen a letter to his fellows like "MODS!!! NUKE THIS GUY'S FUCKING HOUSE—I WAS BEING TOO NICE BEFORE. WE CANT LET THIS THING BREACH CONTAINMENT"

i know that some people are going to look at ruby and the doctor crying at the end of the episode and think that that was the show having them mourn over these teenagers going off to die, but i truly believe that those tears were from anger— ruby’s from the frustration of seeing your best friend be treated with such disrespect and disgust, and the doctor’s from the sheer indignation of it all, being so close to helping people, saving them, only to see that those people would rather stay in their own prejudices. and it seems there’s nothing you can do to change it. the rage and grief that comes with that

I've often seen this person's posts pop up, he's known for the number of cats he feeds, even before this, hence the username. The other day, I remember seeing that pic of him and that tiny little puppy on the beach and being cheered up by it. It's just so sad... they literally can't have anything.
