As soon as you pulled up in the garage and locked your car, your smile grew wider. Your whole body ached and your headache was killing you but it didn’t matter thanks to the idea of finally getting to see your boyfriend after a while. You were welcomed into your house by a warm smile and a sweet voice that belonged to none other than Baekhyun.

“Jagiya!!” he sang running up to you with open arms.

“Baek! I missed you so much” you said wrapping your arms around him.

“I missed you too” he mumbled into your neck.

You’ve been away on a business trip for nearly 2 weeks and you rarely got a chance to talk to each other which the two of you dearly missed. Both of you fell on the couch engulfed in the most loving hug. His arms were wrapped tightly around your figure as he was deprived of feeling you. And so he wanted to use every second to take in your presence, with all of his senses.

As soon as you were in his arms you could feel as if all your worries were melting away. He was your get away from all the stress and tension build up in you over the past weeks. Being together was the only way the both of you could recharge.

“How did the trip go, princess?”

“It was good I guess. Most of it was just my boss sulking and getting annoyed for every single little thing. I swear, he acts like an 8-year-old girl sometimes” you sneered.

“Do you want me to beat him up for you?” he asked with a hint of mischief laced in his voice.

“No need my love” you laughed, pressing a soft peck on his cheek and moving your head back to look at his face.

He was breathtaking as always, but the details were your favorite. The details which only you could see. How his lips quirk up in a joyous smile when he looks at you. The way his lustrous eyes move around your face glistening like the 2 brightest stars in the universe. He was like your most favorite beverage. He gave you energy and motivation like no one could. You could savor him for hours, appreciating every sip as it was your first. He didn’t need to say anything. His touch expressed more than words ever could. How much he missed you. How much he loved you.

“I didn’t think you could get any prettier but you did” he giggled.

“And I didn’t think you could get cheesier” you laughed back, but Baekhyun knew how much you loved it when he was like that.

He knew how to tell if you were happy. He saw the purest form of love in your dark pupils which grew bigger every time you looked at him. He felt as if the sun was pouring warmth into him. Your smile was the most beautiful in his eyes. He loved the way your lips curved into the shape of a crescent moon. He was in complete awe.

“I’ll change into something comfortable and be right back,” you said as you stood up.

“No. Just stay” he pleaded, hugging your waist with you in between his legs.

“Baekhyun, I’ll be back in a minute” you stated trying to loosen his grip but he didn’t let go.

“No.”

“I promise I won’t take long-”

“No.” he kissed your tummy “I won’t let you go”

You knew that you wouldn't be able to convince Baekhyun.

“Why don’t you come with me?” you asked.

“Okay,” he grinned.

You walked upstairs to your room and went into the closet with Baekhyun following you like a lost puppy.You changed into a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie which you most definitely stole from your boyfriend. You washed your face and did your skincare routine. You were about to jump onto your bed but Baekhyun dragged you into your balcony. It was pretty dark but you could feel the cool breeze against your skin. Baekhyun turned the lights on to reveal a pillow fort.

It was the most wonderful thing ever.It had fairy lights fixed at the top which weren’t too bright or too dim, they were just right. The icy smell of the peppermint candles filled your nostrils. The fort was stuffed with fluffy pillows and a cotton fleece blanket.

“Oh my god Baek! You did this yourself?” you asked in disbelief.

“Yep,” he said proudly “you like it?” he asked, looking at you with hopeful eyes.

“Yes!! I love it so much” you exclaimed “It’s so beautiful!”

“It is” he responded but his gaze wasn’t focused on the pillow fort. It was focused on you.

Baekhyun crawled under the covers and made himself comfortable before stretching his arms, showing you to come in. You went in and slipped your body under the blanket. Baekhyun instantly pulled you into his lap and wrapped his arms around you with your back pressed against his chest. You were in ecstasy. You could feel your whole body relaxing under his touch. You were in your happy place, you were with the love of your life.

Stars filled the sky as sugar spilled over black marble. The pale moon shone like a silvery claw in the night sky. It was such a magnificent sight. And the person holding you made it a million times prettier.

“I missed you too much” you mumbled.

“It’s only been 2 weeks and you already feel this way?” he chuckled.

“I’ll always feel this way, whether it’s after an hour or a year. It’s always the same” you smiled, earning a sweet kiss from him. He turned you a bit so your head was resting on his shoulder.

“Me too. I love you so much” he sighed against your ear caressing the waterfall of your silky hair “I honestly don’t know what I would do without you. Just thinking of you makes my heart swell. I love the feeling and with you, I know it will last forever. I appreciate you so much. You’re my sunshine, my happy pill, my world, my everything. I’ve never loved anyone the way I love you and I never will. Words aren’t enough to tell you how much I adore you, this is so overwhelming. I can tell you one thing, I will love you forever and always be by your side no matter what happens.” he slowly spoke, trying not to let his feelings take over his body as he held himself together.

On the other hand, you became a mess. You didn’t show it to him, you were leaning on his shoulders as tears came rolling down. Baekhyun was clueless until he heard you whimper, which caught him by surprise.

“Y/n, are you crying??” he asked, turning your head towards him.

“No” you sniffed, he giggled at the sight of your pouty face. He sat up straight without loosening his hold on you and kissed your temple.

“Baekhyun, I love you too sweetheart. I love you with all my heart and I’ll never stop. Thank you for this beautiful fort, thank you for your love, thank you for everything” you wiggle out of his embrace a bit, turning back to cup his cheeks and pecking his lips multiple times, which made his smile grow wider.

You end up locking your lips in a slow, sweet, and passionate kiss. Your hands were tangled in his hair, while his hands were resting on the curve on your back, making you feel safe. It was like a pencil sliding on paper, leaving beautiful traces while your lips were dancing to the melody of your love. The two of you were in your own world where everything was fueled by your love for each other. You couldn’t ask for anything more. You didn’t want anything more. Because everything that you will ever need was right in front of you. He was your candy. He was your amusement park.
