I’m sorry but no Elder Scrolls protagonist can even be compared to the Champion of Cyrodil.

Like if you 100% complete Skyrim and its expansions as the Last Dragonborn then you’ve become a dragon slayer, a war veteran a vampire/vampire-slayer, and defeated of an old tentacley dude. Also they maybe acted as a crutch for the dying Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild but murdered the Emperor potentially crippling global resistance to the Aldmeri dominion. And if they sided with the storm-cloacas they actively aided a Dominion psyops and destabilization effort.

Morrowind had the Nerevarine, the reincarnation of some old elf who ends up offing another old elf. Then maybe they fight Hircine but, like, cmon. The only daedric lord with less clout than Hircine is Peryite.

But then you’ve got the Champion of Cyrodil, who not only babysat Martin through the oblivion crisis but also overthrew the Blackwood company, murdered their way through a necromancer cult, used an Elder Scroll to literally change time to become fantasy Robin Hood, resurrected a long-dead order of knights and gathered all the relics the old knights couldn’t in order to put down a millennia-old Elven tyrant, practically single-handedly destroyed the Dark Brotherhood from within without even realizing it, became the greatest arena fighter in Cyrodil and then, just to top it all fuckin off: they literally killed the daedric prince of order and took his open job listing as the Prince of Madness.

And then they canonically made the Last Dragonborn jump through a bunch of hoops to get a wacky staff.
