Your heart warms at the sight of seeing your usually busy boyfriend, fast asleep on your side of the bed. His sleeping face unrealisticly cute, you can't help but join him in bed. As you run your fingers through his hair, pressing a kiss to his between his brows. Hearing him mutter your name and shift slightly to wrap his arm around you made your heart grow three times big.

“Hey rin, did you leave flowers for me earlier today?” You asked curiously, “mhm, you like them?” Hearing the slight smirk in his voice you rolled your eyes with a soft smile, “Yes rinny i love them, they’re beautiful. Thank you so much.” You thanked sweetly, not knowing at the end of the line sat a blushing suna.

“Anytime pretty, hey do you still have my hoodie?” You giggled before asking, “which one?” He sucked his teeth before saying, “the blue one doll. You sitting up you look around in your vibrantly purple lit room, before laying back down. “Nope.” You heard slight shuffling for a moment assuming he was searching for it himself, “You know damn well you didnt look for more than five seconds baby.” You rolled your eyes, he knew you way too well.

“Oh shush, you probably did the same.” “Sure doll, your parents sleep?” You hummed naively in response before realizing what he was doing, “Rin you cant come over! What if they hear you?” Hearing a chuckle on the other end he then said, “Baby if they didn’t catch your pretty little moans last week they’re not gonna hear a window closing.” You wanted to make a sly comment at that moment but just huffed in embarrassment, “F-fine, you better bring me back my plushie too why did you kidnap mushu anyways?”

“Because that ‘mu-bastard’ was stealing my place in your arms.” He stated, hearing his window opening in the background. Stifling a laugh you then wondered out loud, “How do you do that every time without being worried?”

“Hm?” “I mean like, sneak out.” You explain, “Well, i just remember that even if i get lectured after i got a snuggle from a cutie out of it.” Blushing a smile tugged at your lips from hearing his words, noticing your silence suna decided to tease you further. “What? You quiet because im telling the truth pretty? Or because your so lonely without me?”

“Oh just..hush and get over here.”

You hated days like these.

You and kei had been arguing earlier, and yesterday and the day before that. Bickering was one thing, but those arguments left you feeling useless. You wanted to make amends with kei, but his silent treatment and cold attitude wasn’t helping. And today, he had crossed the line with you.

He knew of your past relationship and how your ex never showed you any affection, and choose to bring that up in the argument. When you heard kei shout at you with those words your heart sank. Eyes watery you held back your tears as you dashed to your shared bedroom, slamming shut behind you. You didn’t come out of the bedroom at all that night, leaving kei to use the guest bathroom and bed.

As much as you wanted to talk to him and clear everything up, this time it was his turn. You were done apologizing, he had to pull a grand gesture to win you over. So for the next few days you limited your contact with kei, no hugs, kisses and petnames. You wanted him to know how serious you were about this, as much as it killed you to not cuddle with him. Kei saw how distant and silent you were, quickly missing your bubbly attitude. So when you were in the kitchen making dinner he tried to wrap his arms around your waist but you stepped aside. He frowned, before groaning and realizing why you were acting this way.

“Babe look, I’m sorry for yesterday. I shouldn’t have brung that up, ive been an ass for these past few days.” You scoffed, “Thats it? You really don’t get it do you?” You turned off the stove, putting some of the food on a plate and the rest in a container. “Aren’t you going to eat-“

“Not with you tonight, I accept your apology but i dont forgive you.” And with that, you left the kitchen leaving an emotionally confused kei. You almost gave into his attempts to smooth things over, he never called you babe unless he was serious. But you were as well, and you hoped he would do something to prove himself. For both of your sakes.

When you woke up the next morning, you immediately smelt food in the air, was he cooking? Kei never cooked for you— fuck he was. Making your favorite breakfast at that as well, as you stepped out of the bedroom you also saw an frappacino from your favorite cafe. Hearing your footsteps advance, kei turned around seeing you with messy bedhair and wearing one of his old shirts. It was still big on you. “Is this for..me?” A small smile tugged on his lips, “Yes, of course.”

Coming around from the kitchen island, kei gave you a soft look as he gently took your hands in his. “I have no excuse for the way i acted with you for the past few days. I was rude, cold and completely ignored your feelings. And i did see the strawberry shortcake you made for me in the fridge. You didn’t have to do that, you don’t bake an asshole a cake dummy.” You couldn’t help the smile that made its way on your face, “Well back then I thought it would help-”

“God what do you see in me? You actually made me a cake when i should’ve been apologizing. Your such a dummy.” Despite his words, kei’s soft tone made your heart warm. Your eyes wobbled with happy tears, “Hey hey did i do something wrong-?” Letting go of his hands you wrapped your arms around his torso, shaking your head against his chest.

“No, I forgive you kei. But you owe me a kiss.” An airy chuckle fell past the blondes lips, “I knew you would say that.” Leaning down, he took your face in his hands, admiring your features for a second. Grinning slightly at your embarrassed expression, before pressing a passionate kiss to your lips. “Thank you for forgiving me.”

You pecked him back softly, “Anytime kei kei.”
