If i was in american psycho i’d be some secretary in the office to like Van Patten or someone. I wouldn’t know it but every time they were out at a restaurant or the like McDermott would make really unsubtle antisemitic remarks about how they shouldn’t have a jew as a secretary. Eventually i’d get fired and have no idea why. I’d be the unlucky bastard to find that dead homeless guy from the beginning of the movie on my way home but be to scared to report it. My past time would be sending hate mail to people in the office after i get fired. Eventually I’d end up dating someone in the office and people would recognize my handwriting but no one would mention it. They’d all just look at me weird. My parents are rich but i spend all the money they give me on overpriced clothes that I realize i can’t wear to my job so they sit in my closet with mothballs.I would cheat on my boyfriend with his friend but I’d be bad about hiding it and it would be really quite obvious. I would die from drinking drain cleaner and someone would make an offhand remark about in the book. Mcdermott would say something about how odd it was that i died just before a company I had a lot of stock in crashed and start talking about how Jews controlled the stock market.
