ok but can we stop pretending kaminari and ashido failed their midterm exam becuase they were stupid?
they failed because they went against the actually most powerful and intelligent character in the staff who was most probably actively trying to kill them. he was also the only one who wasnt fighting them head on but by destroying the whole field to crash them. if not their top tier agility and speed they actually could have died in there. and they didnt stop running for their lives for thirty minutes. and they didnt even know if that was part of the exam.
it was an incredibly cruel choice of aizawas to pick nezu, someone who would take every single chance to ‘get revange’ on humans, against two teenagers who started active training to be heroes 6 months ago.
i dont think anyone would pass an exam like that and i dont think even most of the teachers could go against nezu and win.
they failed because they went against an unbeatable character, not because theyre stupid
