Here I am with another post about how Shoto is being psychologically tortured each and every week.

I empathize with Touya/Dabi. I really do. Endeavor was a terrible father who did terrible things to his children.

But before you come at Deku for defending Shoto and Endeavor, look at what is going on right in front of your eyes please.

Y’all love to talk about “abuse apologists” so much but my goodness what Dabi is doing to Shoto RIGHT NOW is so fucked up and y’all are just excusing it.

That murder hug? Fucking terrible. He can obviously see that Shoto is in a lot of pain and yet he’s fucking with his head.

Need I remind you all, Shoto has not stopped crying since the reveal and even now, he’s CONCERNED about his brother. Y’all want to preach to Deku about empathy but Dabi is literally getting ready to burn a crying child to death.

Not only that, he constantly dehumanizes him and calls him a doll, which is Shoto’s deepest insecurity.

You can't just excuse that shit by saying "he's a villain, he doesn't have to be perfect." YOURE RIGHT. He's a well written villain who is being straight up cruel to Shoto. What he's doing to him is evil.

Guess who sees that? Izuku Midoriya! Ding ding ding! How is he supposed to stand by while watching all this? How is he supposed to just sit there and be like "I know you're dangling one of my closest friend's traumatic past in front of his face as you burn him to death, but you know what? You had a traumatic past too, let's hug it out, but without the fire this time!"

Like yes Endeavor was an abusive piece of shit and he needed his Just Desserts. But exposing Shoto's abuse to the world, mocking him and murdering him with a giant smile on his face is fucking horrible.

A 16 year old high school student can't possibly say the right fucking thing in that situation. Leave Izuku alone.

You can love Dabi all you want. Hori writes extremely likeable Villains. In fact, I like Dabi. But he does evil things. And while we as readers can understand why, it's extremely irritating when y'all go cancelling other characters for not fully empathizing in the middle of an all out war. Especially the children who didn't even know they were gonna be in this situation. Lest you not forget, the League of Villains has been making their lives hell all year. (Though I blame the HPC for throwing them into this knowing the League was gonna be there).

Cute story so I was playing among us and there were these two pepole and there names where deku and todoroki and the entire time they where playing they were flirting. They had cute nicknames like sho-chan and izuky. Baby, love of my life. It was honestly just super cute. And Um one of the rounds Todoroki was the imposter and the other imposter killed Deku and todoroki said he was the imposter and I was killed and I asked why he said “I love Izuku-chan” it was just so adorable and like they were two idiots in love. But they were flirting back and forth the entire game and I’m now reading tododeku fix’s.......
