General info

Floff is a shopkeeper residing in Waterfall. She earns a living off of designing and making clothes. Monsters can always count on her if they need custom fits, alterations, or repairs.

She is typically lively, friendly, and outgoing. She has a heart for people and attaches great importance to her relationships. Warm and personable, she’s easy to get along with. At times, her seemingly endless energy can be overwhelming, but she will try to tone it down if she recognizes the signs that she’s become too much for someone. Her sense of humor is on the playful and absurd side, and she isn’t shy about showing it.

As fun-loving as she is, Floff is serious when it comes to her job. Once a goal is set in mind, she will do whatever she can to see it through. She approaches challenges with enthusiasm and enjoys experimenting with new ideas.

She is motivated primarily by her desire to serve others; making people feel good about themselves through her work is what she strives for.

However, her dedication also has its downsides. Taking time for herself is an ongoing struggle. Though she’s capable of managing several tasks at once, she tends to take on more than she should for fear of letting others down. She’s so adept at tuning out distractions that she can lose track of time and overlook her own needs.

Floff is a perfectionist. While this CAN be a favorable aspect, there are times where it’s burdensome. She often puts so much pressure on herself to do well that sometimes even the smallest of mistakes is considered failure. If a client is unhappy, she tends to be hard on herself and will spare no effort to make up for her error(s).

Fortunately, though, when she gets knocked down, she’s good at picking herself up and moving forward. Giving up isn’t an option for her.

Inactivity. Boredom. Conflict. Misplacing her sewing tools. Arguing for the sake of arguing. Rejection. Waking up late. Lack of inspiration. Being disliked.

Miscellaneous Facts

Comes from a big family. She’s the second born of six kids.

Was born and raised in the city, but relocated to Waterfall when she reached adulthood.

Her clothing shop has a living quarters above it.

All of her garments are enhanced by magic. They are highly durable, resistant to tears and environmental damage. Some even bear unique powers (i.e., a coat that automatically heats up the wearer when they’re in cold climates).

She frequently searches the garbage dump for any discarded fabric/clothing, which she will then repurpose into something new. Sometimes, if she’s lucky, she brings home fashion magazines that are still in good condition and will use them for inspiration.

She dabbles in jewelry-making.

Has quite a knack for sewing rag dolls. She used to make them for her younger siblings.

While she values organization, she doesn’t always consider it necessary. Her appearance and work environment are as neat as can be, but when it comes to personal spaces, her cleaning habits aren’t as diligent—especially if she’s preoccupied with something she deems to be more important.

Has some hoarding tendencies. She can be reluctant to let go of items because there’s a chance they could be useful later on.

She’s actually pretty good at cooking, but doesn’t always do it for herself because of how much time it can take.

She is ambidextrous.

Speaks quickly with lots of gesturing/touching.

Fidgets if she’s bored or has nothing to do with her hands.

Needs a healthier sleep schedule.

Note: I was going to add a section going into detail of her relationships, but I’m still working a couple of them out. Plus I feel like this bio is wordy enough as it is. 😅

I should have a proper bio for Floff up soon. Maybe not today, depending on how I feel about it, but soon. Her character sheet has very little information on it because I was still figuring her out…and honestly I was pretty nervous about introducing her at first. She’s had a bit more development since then, though, and I think I’m at the point where I’d like to share more about her.
