[a/n] this is fully @synthetickitsune's fault, you can't just come into my dms with “jun”, “mid-fuck” and “cat videos” in the same sentence and expect me to be normal about it!!!!!

you're underneath your boyfriend with his forearms next to your head holding up his own upper body weight as he slowly lowers himself, careful not to accidentally crush you, until he can nuzzle his face perfectly into the crook of your neck. he starts placing light kisses there as he keeps grinding himself against you, one of his hands now slipping under your top to run up your side. you hear his soft, breathy moans as your fingers find the back of his head to press him closer to you and then suddenly there's a giggle.

“what are you giggling about?”

he pushes himself up so that you're now face to face and you watch as he tries to put on a serious look. “i"m not laughing at what we're doing,” he rushes to clarify, “i just suddenly remembered this video i took of a silly cat i met today.”

you give him a nod, “okay—”

but before you can even finish your sentence, junhui crashes his lips into yours feverishly with his body flush against you. you tap him on the shoulders, signalling for him to stop and he does immediately.

he looks at you with wide, panicked eyes, “what's wrong?”

“well,” you start to sit up and junhui follows suit, “are you not going to show me the video of the cat?”

the worried look on his face morphs into one of excitement and he's bouncing up and down slightly, “i was planning on showing it to you afterwards but if you want to see it now—”

“you can't just tell me you met a silly cat and took a video of it and then not show me.”

he stretches his arm to reach for his phone on the nightstand and starts tapping on it as he moves to sit next to you, then he tilts the screen towards you. “look at it!”

the enthusiasm in his voice whenever he talks about something that makes him happy is something you'll never grow tired of.

junhui starts giggling again and you coo as the two of you watch the white and grey cat in the video strutting up to an old flower pot then jumping into it and making itself comfortable by curling up into the remnants of soil to take a nap. he looks at you eagerly once the video ends.

“that was so cute,” you beam at him, “where did you find this cat?”

“at the park down the street!” you didn't think it was possible for the smile on his face to grow even wider but somehow it does.

you start making plans to go there with junhui tomorrow in hopes to see this cat again, the activities from earlier long forgotten as he opens up the “liked” tab on his tiktok to show you all the other silly cat videos he's been collecting and you're more than happy to watch every single one with him. especially when you get to snuggle into his side when he slings an arm over your shoulder to pull you into him.

pathetic and adorable kind of loser. pathetic really.... is genuinely the best way to describe it. he's so desperately, pathetically in love with you and literally acts like he's still hopelessly pining over you even though you've already started dating. laughs super hard at your jokes and stares at you with sparkles in his eyes and flirts with you at every given opportunity like he isn't already dating you and hasn't already won over your affections ages ago. but hey, he's dedicated, and you can't exactly complain at being showered with all of his attention.

also randomly informs you that he's in love with you at any time of day. you'll be watching a movie in the theatre and he'll tug your sleeve, leaning into your space almost shyly and being like "hey. hey. i just wanted to let you know... im kind of in love with you" before scrunching his shoulders up all shy and leaning quickly away from you again. hes always so adorable, ears turning pink even as he flirts with you into oblivion before tacking on a cute "im in love with you, by the way" at the end. every time he says it, you feel so overwhelmed because god, you're so in love with him too

mingyu

wet puppy kind of loser. i'm talking whining 24/7, pouting dramatically whenever you're not clinging to his side, and snuggling into you whenever possible. it's like dating a large, overgrown puppy that doesn't realise he's as big as he is, if that puppy suddenly found out how to talk and cook and do the laundry and looks up at you with big, shining eyes when you come home and goes "hello!! i made every single one of your favourite foods when you were gone bc i missed you so much. how was your day??" at least twice a week. (you're beginning to worry that mingyu might have some sort of separation anxiety.)

also he Does Not care if the other members tease him for being so in love with you, bc hey, yoon jeonghan's just jealous of your lurrrve anyway. but he will sulk if You tease him about it bc hey :(( you're the love of his life :((( don't be mean to him :((( gives you those big, wet, sad eyes every time you tease him until you finally laugh and give him a big kiss to placate him. tells you he loves you every single hour of the day. the members can tease him all they want, but all that matters to him is that you're aware that he Genuinely loves you to pieces.

chan

devastatingly infatuated kind of loser. he literally just. ADORES you so much in a kinda adorable, kinda incredible way because it surprises you again and again when he does something and you realise he loves you so much. and he does things, a lot, because this man is literally doing everything for you. hangs onto your every word like they hold the secrets to the universe, and remembers everything you tell him like it's his life's mission to become an expert on your likes and dislikes. has definitely zoned out whilst staring at you too many times to count.

i gotta stress how in love this man is tho, like. would 100% change his profession into loving you 24/7 if he could. no one wants to go out drinking when the two of you are together bc when chan gets drunk, he just repeats how in love with you he is over and over again like a broken record. (hoshi made the mistake of joining you two, once. he recounts the incident with a look of mild horror every single gathering the 14 of you have.) he doesn't say ily to your face a lot, but it's mostly bc he just forgets cuz he's been staring at you in an utterly lovesick way for far too long.

pizza night

tldr: why order a pizza when you can craft one? a/n: say hi to chef!boyfriend jun. i love him. also, jun nickname reveal! please act surprised when i upload his nickname fic.

since moving in together, you and jun have divided the chores evenly. he folds the laundry, you put it away. you vacuum, he dusts. some chores are shared, like grocery shopping. but the weekly fridge clean-out was your job. if you didn’t do it, it would never get done. jun brings home all sorts of weird stuff from the restaurant and it accumulates. it’s really not a bad trade-off though. you clean out the leftovers weekly in the fridge, and jun cooks you some of the most delicious food you’ve ever had. some of it was weird, some familiar, all delicious.

“junnie? is this squid ink pasta still good? or should i trash it?” you called out to your boyfriend in the other room. you were almost done, finally on the back of the last shelf. the stack of dirty tupperware in the sink was growing steadily, and you pitied whichever one of you lost rock, paper, scissors later when deciding who had to do the clean-out dishes; you secretly hoped it was jun. 

lost in your thoughts of how to sabotage the game later, you hadn’t noticed jun appearing next to you, holding a hand out to inspect said pasta, “dumpling, pass it to me please.” 

you held it out to him, watching as he brought it to his nose, breathed in, and…

“definitely toss.” after emptying the contents into the trash, the final dish joined its yucky friends in the sink. you let out a deep sigh, happy to be done with this part of your day. 

“i have an idea for dinner.” you knew this would pique his interest. it was his night off from the restaurant and you were hoping this meant he’d be open to something different. something you usually didn’t do. “i want pizza.” 

his eyes lit up, “sure thing! i have that sourdough starter in the fridge still, right? we can make the dough using that. and i think i still have that tomato sauce from the special two nights ago. i brought it home with me just for this!” he craned his neck around you to get a peek in the fridge, babbling on excitedly about his starter and sauce. 

you reached up to his shoulders, the weight of your hands pulling his attention back to you, “yes, dumpling?” 

“can we just order one from that place around the corner?” you pulled out your best puppy eyes, hoping he’d fold. jun loved cooking for you, he says food is his love language. he loved knowing the food you were fuelling your body with was made with love, his love. in his mind his love literally fueled you, so getting him to agree to take-out, let alone greasy pepperoni pizza take-out, was a challenge. 

he cupped your cheeks, eyes softening as they looked at yours, still in full puppy mode. his thumbs rubbed at your skin, “dumpling, let me cook for you. it’ll be so good. better than that pizza place.” 

your hands moved from his shoulders to his wrists, “i have absolutely no doubt in my mind that you would make me the best pizza i’ve ever had. but tonight, i really want to order one in, and eat it sitting on the couch with you while we catch up on our shows.”  you could see him imagining it, a cozy night together;  sharing jokes, pizza, and beer. maybe some kisses if he’s lucky. releasing his wrists you go in for the kill. wrapping your arms around his waist, you prop your chin on his chest and look up at him, “don’t you want a nice night with me, junnie?”

 you can see the moment he folds. “yeah, dumpling, i do.” he leans down and kisses you gently, smiling.

 when you separate, you fish your phone out of your back pocket, “i’ll order right now. what do you want on your half?” 

he laughed, “my half? dumpling, if we’re having a pizza night we’re each getting our own.” 

my first proper digital art !!

i'd owned a drawing tablet for a couple of years but I never got around to making digital art until recently. it was all because my lecturer and friend pushed me into a chair and handed me the pen and lowkey threatened me with bodily harm if I didn't give it a go. so yes, then this piece was created.

yes, it's the absolute loml gracie abrams who I've been a fan of since the very beginning of her career. the initial plan was to just do the portrait but then I kind of lost control and went to town with the little sketches around her. I'm so satisfied with this considering it's my first ever time doing digital art jksjksjks ( you can clearly see that I'm so indecisive when it comes to sticking to a colour palette lmao )
