courtland gentry (sierra six) x reader
warnings! none, fluff. ig angst if you squint
a/n! this is dedicated to all of my court lovers.
the bed didn’t feel right without him in it. the couch, your favorite blanket, cheesy rom-coms, and a cup of tea had become your best friends. the last song played quietly in the background, your thumbs scrolling through instagram for the thousandth time that night. a knock on your door interrupts you, causing your eyebrows to furrow in confusion.
you pause the movie and it’s followed by another knock that’s not a figment of your imagination. your footsteps are soft as you pad to the door. “court.” his face washes over with relief. he knew you were safe, but knowing didn’t compare to seeing. “what are you doing here?”
“coming to see you?”
you glance back at the analog clock in your small living room. 3:09. it startles you how late it is. “you were coming to see me at three in the morning- court, where were you?”
the man sighs. he thought surprising you at three am would go smoother. how naive. “can i come in?” you look him up and down, hesitantly. you were happy to see him, relieved actually, but you were known to hold a grudge. court knew that so he urges, “please.”
you open the door wider, obliging to his request. he shuffles past you quietly, offering a whiff of his citrus and wood scented cologne. you breathe it in deeply almost allowing it to distract you of your annoyance. “you’ve got some explaining to do. talk.”
he meets your gaze, blue eyes soft when they look at you. “y/n-“
you huff. “no, courtland. you’ve been gone for two weeks. i wake up and you’re gone. and i, stupidly, didn’t think anything of it until one day turned into two and two into a week and now, all of a sudden, you show up here at three in the morning. no call. no text. nothing.” you’re now chest to chest with the blonde, eyes fuming. “so you don’t get to walk into my house and use your charm to get off easy…talk.”
court is shocked. did he expect you to be upset? yes, maybe even angry. did he expect you to be livid? no, and he’s not sure how to handle it. should he touch you? no. definitely not. raise his hands in surrender? yes. great idea.
so he does so while answering you. “i was working.”
“working?” you repeat incredulously. “do better.”
“you know how the job gets,” court responds bluntly. he’s too casual. unbothered.
your jaw ticks, shoulders rising and falling slowly. “actually, i don’t,” you shoot back. “do you really work in private security, courtland? or maybe i’m the issue? am i the problem? because if you didn’t want to be in a relationship you could’ve just-“
“baby, baby, baby,” he utters softly. “there is not a place in the world i’d rather be than right here with you, okay?” you shake your head in disbelief. before you can argue, the blonde dips his head to place a soft kiss to your lips. his fingers dig lightly into the soft skin at the base of your neck sending a wave of warmth through your body. he pulls away, murmuring against your lips, “you’re everything to me, okay. i need you to know that.”
you nod, “you’re everything to me too, court, that’s why i was so worried.”
a soft smile tugs at his lips. “i know.” he kisses you again, but you know his game.
“i love your method of distraction, babe, but we’re not moving until you tell me where you’ve been.” courtland notices that your voice is gentler. you’re ready to hear to the truth.
“i haven’t been completely honest with you.”
you hum, unbuttoning the top button of his white dress shirt. “i was beginning to assume as much.” you notice the rigidity in his shoulders. he’s almost nervous. “whatever it is, i’m not going to be mad at you. talk to me.”
the blonde sighs, tugging you over to the loveseat. he knows that what he’s going to say will change your relationship and the way you think of him forever. but your comforting gaze and feathery light touch give him a big enough push to spill. “i work for the cia. i have for the last twenty years and i’m what they call the gray man. what they can’t do officially, i do off the record.”
“did they contact you in jail?”
he nods. you knew about his relationship with his dad. everyone knew. you just happened to love him regardless.
your next question is like a punch to the chest. “do you kill people, court?”
courtland knows you already know the answer, but a loaded question like that coming from you feels heavy. he answers anyway, voice barely above a whisper. “when they tell me to.”
it’s your turn to nod. there should be a million questions spilling from your lips, but there’s only one that you ask. “why didn’t you tell me?” you whisper. there’s a flash of hurt in your usually steel eyes. no one else would’ve noticed it, but court did. he notices everything about you.
he explains. “what i do is dangerous, y/n. i’ve made too many enemies to count and i thought by not telling you i could spare you the heartache and keep you safe. but mostly, i was sparing myself because losing you is the only thing that scares me.”
you smile at him softly, placing your hands on either side of his jaw. you give him a lingering kiss, just long enough to feel the tension release from his shoulders and allow his body to melt around yours. oh, if fitz could see him now. “you don’t have to worry about losing me, court. i’m here to stay. just promise me no more secrets or half-truths, okay?”
“you’re not gonna kick me out?” there’s disbelief in his voice. he truthfully was expecting the worst.
a light chuckle falls from your lips allowing court to breathe a little deeper. “believe it or not, i really really really like you, gentry, and i hate to break this really good thing up. so promise me…no more secrets. i don’t care what happens or who comes after you or the risks. if we’re gonna be all in, we have to be all in.”
his head falls to your shoulder where he peppers kisses all the way up to your ear. “i promise. i’m all in. thank you for understanding.”
your hands find the wide expanse of his back, rubbing soothing circles. “i don’t completely understand and i have a lot of questions, but i trust you. i know we’ll be okay.”
he kisses you once again unable to find the right words to thank you. “let’s go to bed, yeah? i’ll explain everything in the morning.”
you nod, sliding off his lap and extending your hands to help him up. “welcome home, court.”
“it’s good to be home, baby.”

the great war , tyler galpin x reader
pairing: tyler galpin x reader
summary: finding out tyler’s been the hyde all along and none of it was real.
“it turned into something bigger. some where in the haze , got a sense i’ve been betrayed.”

Tyler looked down at you with his eyes wide. You watched him , tears in your eyes as he circled you like prey— nothing behind his emotionless expression.
“It was you.” You muttered , shaking your head as you tried connecting all the pieces. “You’ve. . . you’ve hurt people. You’ve lied.”
Your heart hammered in your chest as the news washed over you like a bad fever. Chills dancing up your spine as he watched you unbelievably , listening to you but showing no signs of actually caring.
“I cried to you when Rowan left.” Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion , remembering how he engulfed you in his arms when you cried about your bestfriend. You remember how he held you , shushing you and promising you it would all be okay.
The memory used to be a sweet one. One that you told Xavier and Ajax when they said you shouldn’t trust someone like Tyler Galpin , a judgemental ‘normie.’
Turns out , he wasn’t a normie at all.
“I guess this is a lesson in not trusting people , right?” Tyler cocked his head to the side. “You made it too easy. All I had to do was be nice to you , and you sung the secrets out like a canary.”
Your hands balled into fist at your side. You were scared at what he’d to do you. If you were the next victim on his list. The boy you thought you knew , hadn’t been real at all. “How could you?”
Tyler rolled his eyes. “You should’ve walked away when you had the chance , Y/N.”
“But I didn’t because I cared about you!” You defended. “I trusted you.” The heaviness in your heart hurt too much to look at him , the way his body was crouched over in a defensive position. He didn’t even look at you like you were human.
“I told you to leave that night and you didn’t!” Tyler argued , shaking his head quickly. “I gave you the chance but you just couldn’t stay away.”
Everything started making sense. Throughout the whole semester , Tyler had been there. You told him things about Wednesday and Enid , you told him about Xavier and most of the time you were just venting. You told him everything about Nevermore without even meaning to— because you thought you were just venting to him , someone who you cared about and maybe could’ve loved. . . Looking back at it , it made your stomach sick.
“Then why did you. . .” your bottom lip trembled. “Then why did you kiss me that night?”
“None of it was real.” Tyler admitted as he stood in place , a tiny sense of guilt creeping up the back of his neck once he looked into your teary eyes. “But–” he hesitated. “Sometimes I wish it was.”
His words felt heavy. There was something behind it that made you think that maybe , it hadn’t all been for nothing. But you couldn’t forgive him for all that he had done , all that he lied about. Even now as he stood in front of you , he didn’t look like the Tyler you met at the coffee shop last spring. He was darker , disconnected. Troubled.
“How long?” You asked him.
“The whole time.”
You heard the commotion start to ensue in the background. Tyler’s eyes shot towards the school then looked at you. “If you go now then I’ll let you.” Tyler upturned his nose. “But this is the last time.”
Before you turned around , you glanced at him one last time. Your chest beating and your mind hazy. “I always had a feeling from that day we met , that’d somehow you’d hurt me.”
“I guess you should’ve listened to it.”

I DID IT FOR YOU – Tyler Galpin x fem!vampire!reader
WEDNESDAY MAJOR SPOILERS !!
Summary - Wednesday's plan for you to stay away from Tyler after she found out that he's the Hyde.

"Wednesday, don't." Enid said very seriously. More serious than Wednesday had ever heard her before. The blonde girl thought her friend's plan was merciless. Even for her. "I'm sure that if we talk to her... She'd understand."
Wednesday knew you wouldn't. She had spent enough time with you to already know how you would react to this. Dramatic, skeptical, and on the defensive for sure. Even if she'd tell you that she had seen it. That she had seen him turn into that. You'd never believe her because that's what love does. It blinds you. And Wednesday was completely fine and grossed at the same time with you being head over heels for him because not only it was reciprocate which was even more disgusting but also because she thought he was a nice one. And he would never hurt you. So she would have to do it for him.
"Wednesday, please." Enid begged while her friend prepared her bag to go to Jericho.
"There's no other way."
Once Wednesday arrived in Jericho, Tyler was getting things ready at the Weathervane to close the cafe. It had been a long day for him and he could only think about when you would arrive. He would drive you both to Nevermore and he would sneak into your shared dorm room. Enid would say that she was glad to see him again, and Wednesday would just hum at his presence. You four would talk for a bit before going to bed, him sitting in your bed wearing the pajamas you kept in your room for him and you by his side, playing with his big hands as he talked with your friends. Then you would fall asleep with your head on his chest after he peppered all your face with kisses. He'd hug you tight against his body, not letting you go at any moment of the night, and checking on you all the time. Were you hungry? Were you having a nightmare? Were you feeling sick? He was there.
"We're close." Tyler announced to the person going into the Weathervane at that time of the night.
"Then you should lock your doors."
Tyler turned around to see Wednesday. His expression changed after knowing that it was his friend. "Actually I was waiting for y/n."
"There are some real sick people out there, Tyler. You should be careful."
"Yeah, my dad told me what happened with Xavier. Pretty nuts." After mentioning Xavier, Tyler noticed how Wednesday's posture became tense. "Are you okay? I know you and him... Well, had this thing–"
"We had nothing. And yes, I'm fine. Perfectly fine." She said with her eyes locked on the boy in front of her. "It has made me revalue things." Wednesday walked slowly around the cafe. By the time she stopped, she made sure that Tyler had turned in on himself so he had his back to the door. The perfect position so he wouldn't see you coming.
"Like what?"
"Like who I can trust."
Wednesday took a step towards Tyler. He frowned at her sudden approach. "And I've come to the conclusion that you are the only one worth of my trust." The girl moved closer to Tyler, and none of them said anything else. Wednesday stood on her tiptoes and connected her lips with Tyler's. Then, she moved away from him to see his reaction.
"Wednesday..." Tyler murmured against her friend's lips right before the girl stood on her tiptoes again and kissed him one more time. This time the kiss was longer, Wednesday didn't separate and Tyler was glad that she didn't. His head told him to push Wednesday away, but instead, he cupped one of her cheeks and kissed her back. Your heart felt heavy inside your chest as you watched the scene, your knees felt weak, and your vision was blurred thanks to the tears in your eyes. You wanted to run but your eyes were locked on Tyler and Wednesday kissing. Your brain was telling you to burn that image in your mind so you would always remember you had a reason to hate the person you once loved the most.
Wednesday's eyes met yours when she parted ways with Tyler, her cold stare making you feel small. Tyler frowned in front of Wednesday and immediately after, he turned to see what she was looking at. He could feel his heart beating so hard against his chest that he even thought would stop. Tyler tried to get out of the cafe when he saw you leaving, but Wednesday quickly blocked his way, knowing that his instinct would make him follow you. "Stay away from her." She stated, her black eyes staring deeply into Tyler's, her lips pressed together, a sign of how serious she was being. They both shared a face of mutual disgust for each other; him because of what he just did, and her because of whom he had become. Tyler bumped into her shoulder but Wednesday was not going to give up so easily. She tried to stop him one more time by grabbing his arm, but she barely had him in her hand when with a sharp movement Tyler managed to escape her.
Wednesday followed Tyler outside. You were walking down the street in the middle of the road, hot tears rolling down your cheeks, and your body shaking because of your shorts and rapid breaths. Tyler called your name a few times and even had to do a little run to catch you. Wednesday was walking slowly behind you two. Her attention was always on Tyler and on what his next move could be.
"Y/n, wait, please."
You didn't listen to him and kept walking, with your fist clenched so tight that you could feel your long and sharp nails sinking into your skin. His hand grabbed your arm and made you stop and turn around to look at him. "Explain what?" You yelled to his face. Your eyes were dark red, the veins under your eyes that appeared only when you were really hungry or when you were really mad were decorating your skin, and you were fighting to not let your fangs out.
"She was the one that kissed me. I promise. She–”
Your jaw clenched. "I don't fucking care about who kissed who!" You snapped his hand off you and you threatened him with your index finger, pointing directly at his throat with your long and sharp nails. “You were kissing her back." Tyler craned his neck. Your lower lip was trembling while tears kept running down your cheeks. You didn't expect him to say anything else, and there was nothing he could say that would make you feel any better.
"I'm sorry, y/n–"
"I fucking hate you, and I hope I never have to see you again." Your words echoed inside his head. You lost interest in Tyler, who stood in front of you with glossy eyes, completely numb to everything that happened after what you said to him. You focused on Wednesday, who was a few steps behind him, watching the scene from the distance.
"You got what you wanted?"
"I did not want this."
"Of course you did. You know, because of things like this are why you are alone, and because you fucking deserve it." You said to your friend. Wednesday swallowed but showed no other reaction. It was enough to let you know that your words affected her. You looked at Tyler one last time, his face was pale and he couldn't make eye contact with you because of how ashamed he was. The next thing his eyes saw was you running as fast as you could so neither he nor Wednesday could catch you. You ran so fast that your legs started to burn from how weak they felt, ready to give up at any moment. It was strictly prohibited to go to the forest since Eugene got attacked by that monster, but at this point, you wouldn't mind about the Hyde finding you.
"You planned this." Tyler said to Wednesday. He didn't turn to look at her, just thinking about her face was making him feel sick. It was a very big coincidence that she kissed him and a few seconds later you appeared. He told her that he was waiting for you, but Tyler was pretty sure that Wednesday already knew that you were coming. "Why would you do this?"
"I want you away from her."
Tyler's lower lip trembled as he watched you disappear. Wednesday's words turned into the most annoying ringing sound in his ears, and then, all of a sudden, his breathing was out of control and he could feel that familiar pressure on his head as all of his muscles and bones writhed. You got lost running into the woods until you tripped and fell to your knees. You sobbed loudly as you blamed yourself for not have listened to Xavier when he warned you about Tyler. A part of you wanted to never see Tyler again. The other part of you wished that he would've gone after you, hugged you against his body when he'd found you lying on the ground, and allowed you to cry your eyes out on him.
At the end of the day, you expected Tyler to comfort in you the same way you did that night when you found him in the same forest you were. With blood covering his body and dripping from his mouth, extremely confused, and with that hiker's body completely dismembered by his side.

THIS ONE WAS FOR US THE GIRLIES WHO DONT GIVE A F ABOUT TYLER BEING THE HYDE 💋💋
A/N: THIS ISN'T A SECOND PART OF A TASTE OF YOU
OH imagine the angst, slow burn, repressed feelings where six is a long time (okay like 2 or 3 years) bodyguard for reader who’s a daughter of someone powerful. They’ve been having feelings for each other’s but CAN’T do anything about it especially Six since he thought it was inappropriate and all. And all walls are finally break down when something big, like big SHIT happens a group of mercenaries were send after them and now they’re on a run together… through the woods, shitty motel andddd wait for it…. THERE’S ONLY ONE BED! What could possibly go wrong?
Hi anonymous, I love you. I’m actually going to turn this into a fic, but I can’t leave such a perfect ask unanswered until it’s finished so I will bullet point some of the fun stuff!
- It is established that both have feelings for each other
- Six would never act unprofessionally because he doesn’t trust anyone else to watch over you, and if a relationship between the two of you started, he would be take away from his post
- On what seemed like a peaceful night, a group of mercenaries break into your home by blowing up the wall with all the windows
-The glass shatters and turn into projectiles from the explosion, Six dives to shield your body
- Six fights like hell, (shooting, hand to hand, knives etc.) keeping you behind him at all times, until you make it to the get away car
- You’re stunned into silence, probably in shock the whole ride
-Ending up at a motel, the two of you get the last remaining room and of course, there’s only one bed
- Six tells you to try to get some sleep, and he’ll stand guard, but his voice is wrong
- you turn to protest, but watch in horror as he struggles to keep himself upright and falls against the wall
- You usher him to the bed, supporting more than half his body weight, and start to remove his shirt (not how you fantasized about doing it, unfortunately)
- shards of glass, knife wounds and what you’re almost certain is a gunshot wound make you nauseous
- Six tells you what to grab out of his backpack and you start by pulling out the glass
- everything but the gun shot would had been treated to the best of your combined ability
- he asks for tweezers and some cleaning solution and Six literally fishes for the bullet in his abdomen right before your very eyes
- you aren’t sure when the tears started falling but watching his pained expression and he played self-surgeon nearly broke your heart.
- he gets it out and collapses backward on the bed, beyond ready for a nap
- you ask Six if he’s going to be okay and when he gives you a thumbs up you nearly want to punch him. He could have died and you tell him as much
- “give me a minute and I’ll get up” he says. You realize he’s going to let you have the now very bloody bed.
- you tell him that he’s staying right where he is and you can take the floor .
- he sits up with a grunt and you gently push him back down by the shoulders
- Six is exhausted and in pain and his eyes keep fluttering open and shut.
- “motel floor. Dirty.” Is all he manages to huff out.
- you roll your eyes, but secretly agree with him
-“Fine. We’ll just share the bed then.”
- Suddenly he’s much more alert and clears his throat, but you cut him off before he can even speak
-“Please, please don’t argue and just get some rest. I don’t want to lose you.”
- He doesn’t say anything and you slide into the bed next to him, taking his good hand and interlocking your fingers
- Neither of you are sure what this is, but you’ll just have to figure it out tomorrow.
This is just one of the many ways I would like to see a only one bed trope play out with Six, but I am working on a fic that’s very similar to this!!
