the thought of minho getting married tomorrow keeps bothering you. he confessed that he didn’t want the idea of his parents about him being stuck on an arrange marriage with someone he doesn’t love.

you are his bestfriend ever since you were kids and you’ve known him much better than anyone else. he asked for your help to sabotage the wedding and you really wanted to help him with all you can do.

you also met his bride and you hated her guts. she doesn’t even deserve your bestfriend after all. you wanted to choke her to death but you can’t do that literally.

“y/n! tomorrow’s the wedding, what should i do?” he whined at you as he slid himself down on your couch as he visits your home.

“i’m still thinking about how should i crash your wedding, okay? be patient.” you hissed at him which it made him sighed heavily and whined even more.

“hurry up and come up with a decent idea.” he said.

“bitch, why did you even said yes?” you backfired as he glared at you.

“i didn’t! i was forced okay?! my god, why would i say yes to that girl? i don’t even know her and she’s not my type.” he said.

“you could’ve told your parents about that. why are you pestering me?” you added.

“they won’t listen to me! i tried everything, i used all the excuses and reasons for me to back off but it’s so unfortunate of me.” he said almost in tears.

he got up from your couch and walked towards you as you stood beside the coffee table. you were shocked that he suddenly kneeled down in front of you as he held your both hands.

“what are you doing?”

“please, you’re my only hope.” he begged.

you sighed as you felt pity towards your beloved bestfriend. you would do anything for him of course. but his parents will kill you if you do something stupid tomorrow plus, your parents will disown you too.

“i’m helping you out minho.” you said. “so stand up and be confident. i have an idea just now.” you added to make him feel better. a smile was formed on his face as he stood up and dusted his knees, looking at you like an excited kid.

“what’s the plan?”

the day of the wedding ―

everyone was already inside the church as the ceremony started. you were sitting on the first row with your parents and minho’s. you already told him what do to and he’s on his own now.

several vows were already discussed and you’ve been waiting for the right moment for minho to his job. it’s getting boring already.

the bride was already asked about minho being his lawfully wedded husband. you smirked at the thought. she disgusts you and you will never accept her as his wife. never. he could date anyone including your younger brother, jisung but not her.

“do you lee minho, take *insert the girl’s name* as your lawfully wedded wife?” the priest asked him. the time has come.

the girl looked at minho. he’s taking too much time to give the priest an answer and she’s getting impatient. but suddenly, he smirked. “no, why would i?”

the crowd was shocked and you’re too chill to react. “minho! what are you doing?” his dad asked but he ignored him.

“i’m sorry miss, but i don’t deserve you. you don’t deserve me either and i like someone else.” he told his bride. he got down from the altar as all eyes were on him. you thought that he would run away alone but you didn’t expect that he went towards you. “i did what you told me, now do me favor again.” he said.

“i thought we’ll pretend that i wasn’t involved?” you asked.

“what did you say, y/n?!” your mom raged at you.

“i’m sorry auntie, but your daughter is going to run away with me.” he said as he pulled you with him and exited the church. you were shocked about how he involves you with it when you only told him that he’s going to ruin his own wedding alone, excluding you.

“what the heck is going on?” you asked him as he pushed you inside his car. “why are you ―”

“i told jisung about your plan last night and he said that if i were to run away, i should bring the person whom i treasure and love the most.” he said, closing the door of the passenger’s seat as you watched him ran towards the driver’s seat. and it gave you a thought.

“lee minho! come back here!” you heard his dad yelled. he ignored it again and drove away.

jisung saw the both of you and he just smiled. knowing that minho truly loves you and he sees you more than just a friend. minho didn’t want to marry that girl, instead, he wanted to marry you. but you were just so dense to notice that he’s secretary in love with you.

“dude! what the hell is with you?”

“i’m just following jisung’s orders and yours.” he said, with his hands on the wheel being far away from that suffocating crowd.

“what do you mean? he said to bring someone you love, i know you love me dearly but i wasn’t ―”

“you’re so dense y/n,” he hissed.

“oh come on, minho ―”

“we’ll talk when we’re far enough.” he said making you shut up. you rolled your eyes as you sighed in defeat.

the whole ride was silent and you didn’t know where will he take you and himself. anyways, you’ve been thinking quietly about what he just said when you were about to leave.

a few moments have passed, you realized that he parked his car near the beach where no one could see you. you went out first and didn’t bother to wait for him to open the door for you.

“okay so tell me! what’s happening?” you asked him. “what do you mean and what the hell did jisung was babbling about huh?”

“you’re really dense, aren’t you?” he said feeling disapointed. “i’ve been loving you for years y/n! the reason i didn’t want to marry that girl was you! i love you! and you’re the one i’m going to marry!” he said. “how could you not see or even feel it?”

your face softens when you heard it. you felt bad of course. you thought that his affections doesn’t mean anything but only being friends. most friends. you never thought of having that idea because you might ended up being hurt with your false assumptions. but you’re wrong. he exactly feels the same. you were just acting that you’re dense and tend to ignore it.

“look, i’m sorry for dragging you in to this mess but i’m really sincere y/n, can you ―”

you didn’t even let him finish when you crashed your lips on to his, almost in tears. he was shocked by your sudden actions but he gave in and kissed you back. you were happy that he finally said what you’ve been wanting to hear from him.

“i love you so much you little ―” he cuts you off when his lips captured yours again.

“y/n, marry me.” he said as he leans his forehead on to yours.

“i will.” you answered as he went to kiss you again.
