Hey there! This is just a place for me and my autistic brain to share and appreciate stuff about my biggest interests and hyperfixations; these will usually be FNAF and Rise of the TMNT, but others will occasionally show up if I remember to or feel like posting. I'm new to this whole actually having a social media account thing, but maybe it won't be so bad. Age: None of your business; Gender: Nonbinary/genderfaer/jellogender; Orientation: Aromantic/demi-fictoromantic, asexual/demi-fictosexual. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. :)

My Upcoming Astrophysics Final ("upcoming" As In "literally Four Hours From Now") Is Freaking Me Out,
My upcoming astrophysics final ("upcoming" as in "literally four hours from now") is freaking me out, so I put on the Kahoot remix of One Winged Angel and drew this on my equation sheet.

Seriously, it's 4:00 a.m. I should probably at least try to get three hours of sleep, but there's a part of me that doesn't believe there's a point to it and just wants to commit to the all-nighter.
I just have to get through it. That's what I keep telling myself. Just one more day, and I get to spend time with my dogs for over a month. They're really cute. I'd ask if you want to see them, but just like in real life, I'm just going to show them to you anyway.

This is Max. I promise he has ears. They're just flipped inside-out. His favorite hobbies are sleeping, eating leaves off the road, and trying to lick everyone's faces off (if he likes them). He's scared of his own food bowl, but he won't hesitate to go near his brother's bowl. Speaking of...

Here's Timmy. He enjoys rolling around in blankets, taking his favorite toy for walks around the ground floor of our house, and begging my dad for snacks whenever he gets home from work. He actually is Max's brother; they were from the same litter. They just turned 12 in October.
So yeah. I may be screaming internally right now, but it will all be worth it tomorrow when I get to see them... :')

This isn't important in the slightest, but I'm proud to say that I finally have a name for my turt-sona!
Regiomontanus
Why?
Fits with the "famous Renaissance figure" theme naming of the other turtles (I could have gone the Jennika route and just used a modern human name, but that's not my style.)
Has MANY possible nicknames with varying gender expressions (Reggie, Regina, Gigi, Gio, Monty, etc.)
The IRL Regiomontanus was known for his contributions to astronomy, the field in which I wish to eventually have a career.
He was also German. I'm an American mutt, but a good chunk of my maternal ancestry is German.
So yeah. That's all.
I've survived all my finals!!!
Best one? Chemistry. Even though it was at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, Chemistry was my easiest class this semester by far. I even had time to write some of the FNAF lore on the back; I had been joking with my professor that I would tell him all the lore one day.
Worst one? Experimental Physics. It should have been easy, but my horrible time management skills wrecked me. It wasn't a traditional final, but a project with an accompanying poster, presentation, and lab report.
So yeah. My life is no longer chaos. ROTTMNT incorrect quotes will resume tonight!
Okay, here's a thought experiment: ideal room vs. what your room actually looks like. My ideal? Donnie, but blue. My reality? An irredeemably cluttered mess, but probably closest to Mikey.

Two Sides to Giving Thanks
For those of us in the U.S., today is Thanksgiving. I am thankful for many, many things in my life. I could write entire essays about my family, my friends, my school, my neighborhood... Heck, I could probably write a book about how much I love all the dogs in my life. Yet, I keep circling back to my special interests.
Astronomy has been there with me since the beginning. It has fueled my passion for learning, and it has served as a springboard for my professional potential. Then, Monster High grabbed my attention with its unique character designs, and I found a role model in Lagoona Blue. FNAF came into the mix in November of 2014, just after the release of the second game. It scared the crap out of me at first, but then I got obsessed with the lore and the character designs. FNAF got me through high school, by far the most stressful six years (yes, six--my high school included all grades from 7th through 12th because my district was so puny) of my life. And now, just two months ago, Rise of the TMNT joined in. The turtles being brothers and goofing off just gives me so much life, and Donnie in particular means so much to me that he might be a hearttype for me.
My interests have played a huge role in how I've grown as a person. I am incredibly grateful for them.
Today does, however, have a darker meaning to some families than others. I have heard that several American Indian families treat Thanksgiving as a day of mourning; I am not equipped to speak in detail on the matter, as I lack detailed information, but it is definitely understandable given how indigenous populations were treated by European migrants as colonization progressed. True awareness of this side of Thanksgiving is unlikely to spread quickly as things currently stand. Consumerism and indulgence have a significant foothold in the modern interpretation of the holiday.
So what will it take?
I don't have the answer. I'm just one person. But I know from experience that education and civil, rational discussion can go a long way. It isn't a guarantee, and it may not be easy. There are quite a few people in my life who aren't willing to participate in such discussions, and I bet a lot of you readers know people like that, too. It's a start, though. So as we feast upon our Thanksgiving buffets, and as we give thanks for the wonderful things in our lives, perhaps we can also spare a thought for those who must mourn today, and start to make changes for the better.

Thank you to everyone who got me to 250 likes!
Wow, I never anticipated anything like this! I'm so happy that so many people out there like what I post! Oh, and don't worry. More incorrect quotes are coming your way soon. :)
