day 5: duty
i was unable to catch up on the prompts i'm behind, so take this rushed illustration/painting i did! i know a lot of people would probably think about this as the souls part of asgore's character for an angsty prompt but i decided to do things a little differently and draw asgore holding an umbrella over MK's head, which is a throwback to the scene they have with frisk telling them about asgore coming to their school and how he teaches them about responsibility. i think we often forget about the softer, gentler aspects to asgore when it comes to his kingdom and his duties, hence why i decided to go with this route in this prompt.
if I were you I wouldn't be bragging about dragging Nathalie in your White Woman Tears video. you talk about how her internal monologue, thoughts she had in her own head and voiced to no one, are manipulative. that implies she 1. knows there's an audience 2. is thinking lies on purpose to manipulate them and 3. is trying to control a fandom in a dimension she doesn't exist in. that's not a moment you want to point to as your big epic takedown of her, that's a moment you want to bring a clip of to your therapist so they can help you understand the fictional lady doesn't know you're real and her thoughts aren't an elaborate ploy to manipulate you.
I mean the rest of us realized cartoon characters aren't real, don't know we exist and can't interact with us back during our childhoods but like. since you don't know, maybe you should talk to someone about how Nathalie is ~*~manipulating~*~ you. that shit was the moment i quit being a fan and when i came back to see if you'd grown up any, seeing this let me know you hadn't.
she's not real. her thoughts aren't white woman tears used to manipulate anyone, especially in shots where she's alone, especially when she's not voicing them.
or are the thoughts in your head manipulating an audience somewhere in another dimension, too?
i ain't even read all that cause wtf do you want me to say to this.

Imagine this, you're watching a trailer for a game. So far it has been nothing but a painfully generic, hyper realistic sad dad game with cover shooter mechanics. When suddenly, the sad dad character gets thrown across dimensions into this cute Kirby-esque 3D platformer world. He now has to contend with the fact that he's stuck in a crazy world with weird little creatures and monsters.
Yes this was inspired by centaur world how did you guess?
