Hey there! I love your artwork and it always makes my day a little brighter. A question for your pirate AU: Will Stan and Ford's reunion in this be less... face-punchy than how it goes in the original series since there's not the whole stan-getting-kicked-out thing between them?

Stan did actually end up kicked out and spent ten years bouncing from port to port and working low rank jobs on different ships before he found out about Ford's "death" and resolved to get revenge. Filbrick is a merchant who's definitely traded with shady ships, but the knowledge that his own son is a pirate captain would wreck their family's reputation. So he lies about Stan having died in going after Bill.

Ford finds out about these rumours, and realizes he has no family to return to. So in that way, Ford would probably be extremely relieved to find Stan alive. Almost as relieved Stan would be to find Ford. But on the other hand, thanks to Bill Ford has some very major pirate-related trauma. Finding out his brother is not only a pirate captain himself but has also turned Ford's beloved Gravity Falls into a piracy safe haven is something he... May take offense too.

Don't want to say anything for sure, because if my outline holds that reunion might only be a few chapters out ;)

I don't know if you're still taking Gravity Falls requests rn, but are there any rules or conditions to them?

I'm not currently taking any new requests, sorry. I still have a few leftover that I want to get through though.

When I take requests (or suggestions, more accurately) the main three rules is that I won't draw nsfw or excessive gore, it needs to be gravity falls related, and I flat out refuse to do anything involving incest or minor/adult.

okay so i've just finished catching up on your pirate au and i gotta say that i've never been this hooked on a gf fic so badly. it's so fun, refreshing, thrilling, and just absolutely brilliant! i love how you left the 2 recent chapters on cliffhangers, i was literally on the edge of my seat as i read them both. i cannot wait for the upcoming events. i also love the fan art you make for it! it makes the story come to life even more and serves as a really good bonus for the fic :)

Anxiety has been hitting hard these last few weeks, and it's been a bit of a struggle staying productive. But nice comments like this always brightens things up a little (but you guys already know that).

I'm working on the next pirates chapter, so hopefully that'll be out soonish. The next four chapters have some scenes and reveals I've been waiting to write since day one of the fic!
