DC: Bruce Wayne Has NO EMOTIONS
DC: Bruce Wayne has NO EMOTIONS
All he feels is ANGER
He IS pain
HE ONLY CARES SBOUT THE MISSION
He bEATS THE SHIT out of criminals
Even his own children will FACE HIS WRATH
the fans: um can u not? Literally just making him a really shitty character when he had so much potential for growth? He adopts children because he remembers being a scared child that lost everything? He became a vigilante so he could stop others from experiencing the pain he endured? He uses his wealth to build Gotham back up and is attempting to destroy the poverty line by giving jobs to his community? Why write him like this? Bruce is suppose to be a hero, he brings hope, he has deep compassion for his fellow man. Is he perfect? No, he has faults and he doesn’t have to be written as a man of no mistakes, but stop destroying a complex character just so you can have your “dark badass who only lives to fight” stop writing him to only be a broken man, he can still have the drive to protect Gotham without drowning him is pain. Bruce is more than his pain, his hope for a better future drives him, not just his pain

It’s Cassandra Cain’s in-universe Birthday! Here’s a bit from her debut storyline, from Batman #567 (July 1999), where during the No Man’s Land event she was working as a courier for Barbara Gordon, until she recognised her long lost assassin dad on the prowl in the ruined city (his having been hired by Two-Face to kill Commissioner Gordon for “betraying” him earlier in the main story).
Later, the non-verbal Cass indictates via diagrams that it’s David Cain that’s after Jim, and that David’s her dad. Jim isn’t happy that Cass had to step in to save him though, and puts out the word to hunt down David due to his having murdered multiple cops escaping his earlier failed assassination attempt..
