ough this interaction. also the fact that morgan is the one who calls hotch a drill sergeant in revelations and it's what hotch repeats to him here,,the implication that at least part of him was genuinely hurt by the team all naming what they thought was his worst quality. any reminder that hotch is human hits me in the gut. also hotch and morgan's dynamic... the begrudging respect that becomes admiration that becomes friendship. hhh.

i wonder what kind of dog jj is talking about here, if she's talking about SAR dogs or cadaver dogs. she speaks very quietly, avoids eye contact, and ominous music kicks in right after, so i think she's talking about cadaver dogs and using euphemistic language to avoid freaking out the family.

hey do you ever think that the reason reid knocks "shave and a haircut" on elle's door is because post-fisher king elle gets nervous when someone knocks on her door because she doesn't know who it is, so reid (or even the whole team) start knocking a pattern. do you ever think about elle checking the peephole anyway. i do.

“You gonna be alright in the sun, pretty boy?” Morgan teases, as he leans on the door jamb of their adjacent hotel rooms and watches Reid rubbing sunscreen on his face.

“I’m from the desert,” Reid says. “I can handle heat. I still turn red as a lobster though.”

Elle appears from the balcony, already in a bikini with a sarong wrapped around her waist and a cocktail in hand.

“Aw chulo,” she coos at him, and makes eye contact with Morgan across the room. “You could have waited until we’re on the beach, Morgan would have volunteered to lotion you up.”
