I’ve been thinking about this lately and then I saw this panel from Injustice ground zero and I think it really exemplifies the problem I have with joker, the second he leaves batman’s street level little world he completely falls apart as a villain. The idea that he could beat hawkwoman is hilarious, he might dodge her mace a few times but the first time she connects its just like completely over. Everytime I see him top a best villains list or something I just remember that panel from dreamwar where apolo kills him in like a second. He, a lot like batman, just requires too much plot to function for me and I wish writers would pick someone more interesting to base their comics around
