I know people HC Tech and Cross as twins and I do agree BUT if omega would have aged at the same time as them and would have fought alongside them from the start, MY headcanon is that they are triplets! I feel like all three complement each other. Very much Earth (Omega), Sun (Tech), and Moon (Crosshair) ♥️

Crosshair has had a long and wonderful character development but I can't stop loving his feeling betrayed by his team, his desire for revenge for what they did to him…

This isn’t a new hot take or whatever but the sequel trilogy really did screw up the OG trio’s characterizations something fierce. The only original character who feels like they’re in character is Chewie when he immediately shot Kylo Ren for killing his best friend

Unlike Atlantis, Hemlock has everyone here as prisoners, Tech is the last one to be fished out of the lake. Also Crosshair's already in the “post-Tantiss” phase. And that was the most difficult piece so far. Sucked me dry. But that doesn't mean I'm tired.

I’ve grown really fond of this headcanon, the way Crosshair has a soft spot for Echo is just so nice and heartwarming and well, true. But this addition is overall perfect 😆

I’ve always held this headcanon that Echo makes it hard for people to say no to him. Rex can’t do it. Cody can but he struggles sometimes. Hunter gets backed into a corner and gets Echo’s glares and logical arguments and is real grumbly about it but usually concedes. Wrecker doesn’t ever want to say no so he doesn’t and Tech is just happy someone is on his same level of absolute chaos so when Echo comes up to him and is like ‘what if the caf pot had wheels and was motorized?’ Tech is like ‘you son of a bitch, I’m in.’ The batch really thinks the only person who could say no to Echo is Crosshair… well… until they witness Echo go up to him, grab him by the arm and say ‘we’re going to town I need a walk and you’ve been inside the ship too long’ and while Crosshair does grumble at being manhandled he does follow and doesn’t complain. He even let Echo use his firepuncher once and everyone was aghast. All Echo did was hold his hand out and go 'where did you get that thing? I wish I had one of these. Let me see it!' and Crosshair just gave it to him!

Hunter asks Echo how he does it and Echo just shrugs and goes ‘I just ask’. It is the most confused the batch has ever been.

Crosshair becomes an absolute softie for Echo but refuses to admit it.

There are signs, though.

I said this to a friend once about Mandalorian S3, because I saw/heard people shipping Din and Bo-Katan and like. Idk if I really get the romantic vibe from them but I do get the “married for no other reason than tax benefits and are completely fine with that” vibe. Din wants to go bathe in the water of their obliterated home planet for moral redemption? Bo-Katan is like “ugh fine but you have to let me navigate.” Bo-Katan wants to take back their obliterated home planet? Din is like “do it homie, I’ll bring my kid, it’ll be fun.” No romance. Just support and tax benefits. It’s lowkey such a vibe

Echo‘s Right Arm…

…can‘t have a defined biceps or triceps.

I LOVE disability representation and can’t be normal about all the amazing artists that draw Echo‘s nub now and then 🥰 And I will continue to love these pictures whether they show him with or without a pronounced biceps and triceps, that’s for sure, so this is just for the people who love hyperspecific details:

Echo‘s right arm cannot have a pronounced biceps and triceps!

Echo had a transhumeral (i.e. above-elbow) amputation. Biceps and triceps are used to move the forearm - you train them by doing something like biceps curls and triceps dips. Echo, however, has no part of the forearm left and moves the scomp arm with a disc-shaped actuator of his prosthesis. His biceps and triceps are without function and thus cannot be trained anymore.

If you want to give him some definition at his right arm, give him a kicker deltoid! It won’t only look good and be in line with canon (see the picture above) but also makes sense: the body of an amputee doesn’t recognize a prosthesis as a part of itself which aggravates the perception of its weight. An amputee once described it to me as being similar to the difference between gaining weight and carrying the same weight in a backpack.

So wearing the scomp arm all day is like a very long workout. 🦾
