Wind's tongue stuck out of his mouth when he was concentrating. Twilight had to bite his own tongue to keep from laughing. Wind looked almost as intense now as he did when he was in battle.

It was fitting, Twilight guessed. How often did Warriors let someone touch his hairbrush, nonetheless touch his precious hair?

Not that Warriors looked too bothered now. He sprawled on the ground in front of Wind, legs stretched out in front of him, back resting against a log in a way which made Twilight question if he had a spine. He looked like a big kitty getting brushed, and Twilight bit his tongue again. Warriors looked blissful as Wind brushed his hair. Twilight wasn't going to disrupt the rare calm.

Even Legend was holding his tongue, although his face was red with the effort. He sat shoulder-to-shoulder with Hyrule, and the other boy was obviously shushing him. Hyrule's eyes sparkled as he looked at the pair. Wind and Warriors did look very cute, Twilight admitted.

Cute enough for Wild to snap some pictures. He lowered his slate and winked at Twilight. Twilight grinned and winked back.

Oh, by the Spirits. Wind brushed Warriors's hair with one hand, and he had started petting his head with his other hand. Twilight had to look away.

Only to look back when Time strolled over and stretched himself on the ground beside Warriors, resting his head on Warriors's lap. Warriors didn't open his eyes. With a yawn, he started petting Time's hair. Time only closed his own eye.

Twilight was going to die. They were going to succeed when Zant and Ganondorf and the black-blooded monsters failed. This was how he was going to end his journey. Beside him, he heard Wild wheezing as he snapped picture after picture.

If Time heard the soft wheezes around him, he didn't seem to care. He didn't bother opening his eye. He did open his mouth. "Meow."

Twilight lost it. He howled with laughter as even Four began to cackle. Legend and Hyrule doubled over, cackling like hyenas. Sky grumbled and rolled over where he was napping.

Wind scowled and smacked Time with Warriors's brush. "Knock it off! I'm concentrating, you brat!"

Twilight laughed even harder. In the middle of it all, Warriors only smiled and kept petting Time's hair.
