The production staff and voice actors all say that “every episode is the climax”! That phrase was exactly what was depicted in the drama of Sesshomaru and Kagura in the second episode. Kagura was born as an incarnation of Naraku, but in her quest for freedom, she gradually turned away from it. Although she had seemed strong-willed, as she became involved with Sesshomaru, the deep loneliness lurking in her heart began to seep out. Kagura knew Sesshomaru was unobtainable, but she appeared to want him.

On the other hand, Sesshomaru, through his relationship with Rin and the others, gradually started opening his heart to others. Then Kagura appeared in front of him. He may not have been fiercely moved by it, but he must have had some kind of feelings for her.

Their last scene is in the flower garden. Time passed slowly, and Kagura departed with a smile on her face. What kind of feelings arose in the heart of Sesshomaru, who doesn’t voice his thoughts on the moment?

Narita: In the second episode, the difference in tempo between Sesshomaru and Inuyasha made for a stark contrast. The slow pace of the scenes between Sesshomaru and Kagura was really good.

Yamaguchi: It was good. After all, it was the first time in the whole series that Sesshomaru ever showed that kind of emotion.

Narita: That’s right. Even though he didn’t say many words, he was full of emotions, which was very much like Sesshomaru, but I also felt that it was a new side of him.

Yamaguchi: When the scene between Sesshomaru and Kagura came up, everyone was watching your performances with bated breath. I was a little bit jealous that they didn’t have a scene like that in Inuyasha. (lol)

Narita: Izumi Ogami’s Kagura was also very good, wasn’t it?

Translation Notes: 

For Narita’s line about holding back, the Japanese is 耐える (taeru), which means “to endure, to bear, to stand, to put up with.” So the implication seems to be that he had to “put up with” or “endure” Sesshomaru’s arrogant and cold-hearted nature. This indicates that he had to hold back his own emotions.

The “love” that Narita uses when he says “clear-cut love” is 愛情 (aijyou) and means “love, affection.” 

And for “arose in his heart,” the Japanese word used there was 去来 (kyorai), which means “coming and going, reoccurring” and it was used with 胸 (mune), which can mean “chest, breast, heart.”

* First of all, and like the yokai warlord up there said, these are just examples, I don't mind doing characters outside my chosen fandoms as long as it's something I'm comfortable with!

* Here, my pixiv in case you want to see more of my style too! Or scroll back my blog and find even more!

* Work method: I ask lots of questions, especially if it's an OC design, but usually I will send 2 sketches before the final drawing. One with basic lineart to see if the poses are okay (time to correct anything you want), and the second one with flat colors/ or shading, again to see if it's approved. (This will be the time to allow color change!). After that it will be done and sent through email to get the best quality!

*Regarding prices and more than one character: I'm always open to dialogue if the piece is too big and we can create a special price when more than 3 characters are asked! The comics will be priced by amount of panels, color or pages! so don't worry! I don't bite haha!

* Waiting time: I usually open commissions in batches, meaning you could possibly have to wait until I'm done with those in front of you. I do not have a stipulated time frame, but I will always try to deliver as soon as possible; keeping in touch to inform.
