STORM : For Both Muses To Find Shelter From A Severe Storm. (from Matteo, For Aggie!)
STORM : for both muses to find shelter from a severe storm. (from matteo, for aggie!)
it was nice, being able to hang out with father matteo during their free time. after grabbing coffee from the nearest cafe and a bite to eat from the bakery, she was accompanying him back to the church. " i-i really like doing this with you, f-father matteo. it— i-it's really nice. " agatha smiles up at him. in her opinion, any time she could spend with him was good time. she's... yeah, she's got it that bad for him. she's got it so bad today that she didn't notice the dark clouds gathering above them during their walk. there were no distant rumbles of thunder, there was no warning drizzle, it just began to pour like there was no tomorrow. only then did the thunder and lightning start and the two were running through the rain, getting back to the church.
they stand under the awning and she can't help but laugh, heading inside with father matteo when he gets the door open. " jeez, i-i'm completely s-s-soaked through! " how embarrassing. she can't even go out to her car since she left it parked on the street by the flower shop so she could walk here instead of drive. it'd been a nice enough day for that, until now. " oh, i-i'm s-so sorry. if i knew it w-was going to rain, i-i-i w-would've brought an umbrella. a-at least we could've shared it. " agatha giggles, her cheeks flushing in mild embarrassment. she looks up at father matteo, rainwater dripping from her hair and down her face.

" i, um, i-i d-don't suppose you have any t-towels here? and— a-and m-maybe something i could change into? "

the faerie couldn't help but think it was adorable that, upon their arrival back on earth, the bracken basically follows her everywhere, moreso around the house. she'd cast a glance upward as he peered over her shoulder and watched her prepare breakfast and coffee, the latter of which she's enjoying now. agatha sips it once it's at the perfect temperature, delighting in its taste as she makes up a little grocery list so she can drop by the store later after work.

she pushes her glasses up her nose as she glances up when he speaks, smiling at his curiosity over her coffee. " i-it's a bit d-difficult t-to describe the taste. on its own, w-w-without s-sugar or cream, i-it's quite bitter. people drink it that way, b-b-but i-i can't. " agatha replies with a soft giggle, pushing the mug toward her mate now. " i-it's s-sweet and creamy now, b-but i tend to put too much in it. " it was the only way she could get paste that bitter flavor. " w-what do you think? "

he tiled his head slightly, glowing eyes watching her curiously as she lifted the mug to her lips. it had been a few months since he managed to assume a human form, and he was currently living with agatha, a cute little fae that he's claimed as his mate, and she was currently indulging in coffee. and he was watching her closely through the entire process. watching as she made it, put sugar in it, creamer -- the kitchen smelled of it, he noticed, overtaking the smell of breakfast ( she made him hashbrowns, bacon and eggs -- they were pretty good, he determined ).
" what does it taste like? " his voice, though not as deep, still reverbed lowly against the air. it had taken him a few minutes to figure out how to utilize vocal chords, " may i try it? " it smelled organic at the very least, but it was an unfamiliar earthy smell.

tonight just isn't her night, is it? she should've known better than to let her friends set her up on a blind date. they told her that she'd be fine, she just has to look past his rough edges. apparently his 'rough edges' equate to being simply incapable of taking 'no' for an answer! agatha didn't want more drinks, she didn't want to slip off to the bathroom with him, she really just wanted to go home.
what a waste of time this was. i would've had more fun curling up on the couch with some tea and a good book.

the faerie's gaze flickers up toward the man that made his way over, listening to him speak. she can't help but feel a little relieved. finally, it seems maybe someone has come to her rescue. while she doesn't like the idea of someone having to fight to keep the guy away from her, especially when this man could get injured in the process, he just won't listen to her and take her seriously! it was upsetting beyond words and all she can manage to the man that came over is a nod and a stuttered out 'please'.

"he botherin' ye, bonnie?"
soap walks up to the bar, a half empty bottle in his hands. he's got the rogueish good looks, boyish in nature. the smile on his face is warm and genuine - and the glare leveled at the harrassing man is burning hot.
"been thinkin' this guy needs a lesson. seein' him feck around all night. jus' say the word, aye? would look a lot better if i threw hands fer someone else's sake, ye ken?" a wink passed off. someone's definitely looking for some trouble - he's got high hopes he'll be granted that.
