after a long day at the ship, she was in desperate need of a shower. she just needed to feel clean again after spending a good deal of time in the greenhouse and moving rather hefty items around the shop after getting a new shipment in. so agatha showers and gets herself cleaned up, humming softly to herself as she steps out and dries herself off. she leans against the vanity and carefully brushes her hair after wringing it out.

she knew shiro would be dropping by, so it comes as no surprise to her when she catches him staring at her as she removes the towel from around her body, standing naked before him. " d-do you like what you see? " agatha asks softly, gazing up at him as she moves closer. an amused smile forms on her lips. " i-i d-don't think i've ever s-seen you so flustered before, shiro. "

" oh, s-swimming? " the faerie's smile falters a little. " i-i don't have any bathing suits... " agatha admits quietly, looking away from mairi. the only think she ever goes to the beach for is to walk along the shore and find shells if she can. sometimes she'll get her feet wet, but... that's about it. " m-maybe... maybe w-we could just wade in up to our knees? "

MAIRI SMILED FROM where she sat in Agatha's kitchen. the other held a cup of tea in her hand, her expression brightening with the suggestion. Mairi loved the beaches, and she instinctively reaches back to touch her crate, where her fur rested.

"that's an amazin' suggestion, Ags! 'm real excited for the beach with you, then. maybe we could go swimming?"

that way, she could show Agatha her seal form! and Agatha could feel the waves along her skin. to Mairi, it all sounded perfect.

thinking about aggie and the "to be loved is to be changed" trend bc the two together gives me so many feelings. like she isn't a worn stuffed animal in this instance but rather she's better than she used to be. of course she used to be incredibly self conscious of herself, her confidence and self esteem hardly existed at all, she watched her weight, she hated looking at herself in the mirror for too long, took great efforts to hide her body and cover her scars. but then she met maren and a change began. i wouldn't go so far as to say she was fixed, but rather healed. her outlook on life and herself began to change for the better. it took a lot of patience and persistence on maren's part, as well as agatha also finally realizing she needed to get help and put in the effort to get better and be healthy and happy. and she did, she put in that effort and she is better. much, much better than how she used to be. she actually loves herself now and when you compliment her, sure she's still a bit humble but she accepts the compliments. she can look at herself in the mirror, she can look at her body without feeling disgust. she stopped focusing on how much she ate or wether she ate at all, even allowing herself to gain weight. she doesn't hide her scars, she wears short sleeve shirts and she wears bathing suits. the world is brighter again, it's more colorful. of course she still has her bad days, but they're fewer and more far between than they used to be. it's all thanks to maren, her daughter aurora, her friends, and even herself because self love is also important!
