" agatha tells him with another sigh. usually, when it comes to people, she feels an abundance of patience, but he is making her use up every bit of it. " w-who even has s-s-seventeen knives?! "

   “no  -  see  -  i  robbed  a  whole  shipment  of  them  before  buying  them  legally.  i  figured  the  illegal  ones  might  be  a  bit  much  but  now  that  you  point  out  seventeen  won't  quite  do  it.”  he  starts  to  wander  to  the  kitchen.  “…how  many  knives  are  there.  could  tape  those  onto  them  too.  really  make  it  work.”

" ...if i got a tattoo, would you sit with me and hold my hand while i got it? "

" mhm!! and, w-when w-we're done here, we'll head back to— t-to m-my house a-and we can have a movie night in! " her smile was growing as she speaks. they check in and are lead to a bar to get their drinks. agatha sits at one of the tables, watching as murasaki sits across from her, kicking her legs a little, hardly able to contain her excitement.

agatha sips her drink. " i-i j-just couldn't help but notice y-you seemed like you had a lot on your plate a-and— a-and y-you could use some time away f-from your work. " she tells her now, her smile becoming sheepish as she glances away. agatha was just observant that way, picking up on things most would brush off or not notice altogether. some have pointed out that it was creepy, that she was always so aware of people and her surroundings, but she felt it was better to observe than to put herself out there, like she noticed when she was still a kid in school. agatha brushes that away and looks back up at murasaki. " i-i'm c-certain we'll have lots of f-fun today, mura. "

when was the last time she took a day to herself? she honestly couldn't remember. work kept her busy most days, and her days off were usually spent record keeping or watching a movie by herself ( some stuff samael had recommended to her, as a way for her to "loosen up" ), but she had never treated herself to a spa. certain missions allowed her to enjoy an onsen here and there, but never a full package spa deal.

" s-seems l-like you ha-have our whole day p-p-planned, " she laughed softly at that, smiling towards her friend, " i'll be i-in your c-care then! " murasaki felt her heart skip a beat when agatha wrapped her arm around her own. she doubted she would ever get used to feeling agatha's aura and powers surrounding her, almost suffocating her in the purity of it all.

a soft laugh leaves agatha and she nods. " yeah, p-people k-keep saying that, a-and i have had a chance to work with him, b-but h-he already had his hands full with his own t-team this time around. " and she didn't want to possibly get in the way, so she decided to offer a hand to the heroes that only had one or a couple to a group. " oh, uh, n-no, no, i-it was an honor t-to w-work alongside who i did, a-and i was very happy to lend a hand. really, y-y-you d-don't owe me anything. " agatha is quick to brush that off, her smile becoming nervous. she was just doing her job, after all.

while his grin falters, hers only grows. " no, i-it's t-totally okay! you know, th-the fight and all, i-it got in the way. " agatha laughs again, rubbing her neck. she offers her hand for a handshake now. " i-i'm a— " whoops. " gaia. i-it's gaia. " jeez, she nearly slipped up there and said her real name. can't have that, can we? " i and a handful of o-other heroes from america were asked by— b-by y-your government to aid in the fight against the league of villains, so... h-here i am. "

"After watchin' ya use all'a those plants the way ya did, I'm surprised ya weren't assigned to a team with Kamui Woods!" A hearty laugh had the hero's whole body shaking. "Think the honor's all mine, honestly. Ya kept a lot of us from gettin' hurt worse than we did, so we all owe ya one."

Introductions weren't ideal in the middle of a fight, but now that the two-bit villains had been apprehended and the civilians taken care of, now felt like the opportune moment to learn names.

"That's me! Feel bad not knowin' your name right off the bat." The grin he typically wore faltered a fraction, the downward twitch obvious. "Sorry for not askin' sooner, but since we've got a second. . ."
