Her Cheeks Warm Up At His Compliment And She Can't Help The Laugh That Spills From His Lips At The String

her cheeks warm up at his compliment and she can't help the laugh that spills from his lips at the string of messages cash sends her. oh, she can definitely tell, but it makes her feel a little better about this that he's nervous, too.
> you really know how to flatter a gal, don't you? > it's relieving to know you're a guy who cares about your date's comfort. after the dates i've had, i wonder if some of them forget how important that is > to me, at least, and others, i'm sure > i'm a bit nervous, too, though, if that helps any > but you did make me smile and laugh > do you know that cafe, latte lounge? how about we meet there? > if it's good for you, how about we meet there at 5pm? gives me time to close up shop and head home to clean up a bit!

to a degree, he imagined it a joke she swiped on him of all people. yet, she responded to his message and his eyes widen reading hers over again and again. well... shit. he cants his head to the side, thinking it over. alright, well. shoot the shot, right? that's why he's hovering the app. a lot of one night stands and very few meaningful dates - didn't mean one couldn't hope he'd run across someone who would make it meaningful. she seemed the type. though not the type to be into him.
> could say the same to you about types but never was one to pass on a pretty girl 😛 > guess we've got it on good authority we're interested > authority. blegh. i don't like authority. obviously lmao > ANYWAY > what kind of places do you prefer going to? > from what i understand, the pretty girl picks the place and the lucky dude pays the bill. so that's how we'll do it. works for me. > i mean, i get how it is at first not knowin the dude so the more comfortable you are the better > i'm rambling. i'm nervous. i'll admit to that. can you tell? > dumb question. you totally probably can and i'm acting the fool > it's cool though. > i mean, if you laughed or smiled, i'll take that as a w

agatha doesn't have much faith in dating apps when it seems most are in it for hookups and not real relationships. still, her friends insisted she put herself back out there if she actually wanted to find someone to be with. they argued it was better and easier than being a hopeless romantic and waiting for the right person to simply come into her life one day. she is a hopeless romantic, though, but she wants to be little more hopeful about it instead. agatha has had a few successful and a handful of unsuccessful first dates, none of which went anywhere. it tempts her to delete the app from her phone, but... oh, just one more chance can't hurt, right?
with the shop empty at this current moment, agatha leans against the counter, looking through tinder while she has this little bit of free time. there were a lot of handsome guys and pretty women, of course, but none that strike her fancy until she comes upon one profile that stops her swiping all at once. cash forscythe, hm? she looks over his profile, scrolling through the little obligatory biography and his likes and interests and what he hopes for from someone. agatha scrolls back up to look through his pictures. he's really cute, isn't he? tall, handsome, and quite the dazzling grin. she takes the chance and swipes right on cash's profile before setting her phone aside to help a customer that came into the shop.

once that was all over, she checked her phone to see cash had swiped right on her profile as well, blinking in surprise at the message he sent her. her features soon relax and a smile forms on her lips.
> well, hi to you, too! 😊 and i'm rarely deterred by appearances, especially when you're very handsome! > i suppose i might also be a bit surprised you swiped right on me, i wasn't sure i'd be your type
her smile grows as bubba becomes excited over the prospect of being taught. had the others not tried? it didn't seem like they didn't care for each other. maybe they just weren't aware this was an option. maybe it's a good thing she thought about it.

" okay, " she crosses her legs, balancing the book in her lap, " hold out y-your hand like this, " agatha holds her right hand up, her palm facing away from herself, " a-and bring your fingers down like this a-and h-hold your thumb against your pointer finger, j-just like this. " she follows the image in the book, doing as she instructs bubba to. " th-this i-is the sign for the letter 'a'. " agatha shows him her hand and the way her fingers are arranged. she looks up at him. " n-now you try, bubba. "
there were a handful of killers who didn't seem to speak, though whether it was because they couldn't or wouldn't was beyond the faerie. there was one that seemed to want to be able to communicate, though, and it was bubba. a few of the killers have been kind to her, bubba especially, and so she wanted to repay that kindness. she had certainly made attempts to speak with him, but only sounds came out of him, almost pig-like. if he couldn't communicate that way... agatha would find another way. she managed to get her hands onto some books and tapes about sign language, so maybe if she teaches him as she teaches herself, the two could communicate, right?
agatha brings him to the unused cabin in the woods, sprawling the books out over the old, slightly wobbly coffee table. she looks to bubba with a smile. " th-these are about sign language, bubba. i-it's a-another way people can c-communicate, a-and i— i-i think i can teach it to you. w-we can learn together! " her smile grows and she moves to sit beside him, picking up a book that was a guide for beginners. " let's see... " agatha hums softly, reading the introduction aloud to him before they get to the first chapter, learning to sign the alphabet. " okay, here we go, w-we're starting here, o-okay, bubba? "

His attention was on the books the faerie set down now. Head canting before looking to her. Sign language? What was that? People can communicate like that??
He was starting to fidget in the chair with excitement once it became clear that she was wanting to help him find a way to communicate with her and maybe even others that might know this sign language as well. With some squeals and fast nods to her, Bubba pressed his hands into his thighs as he waits more now for her to continue.
ignore that i didn't realize you could reblog asks and use them as threads with the ability to trim posts the way you can now

" w-well... i don't not like it, i-it's just... i-is it me? " she asks, tracing her fingers over it, glancing up at frank. " i-i d-don't think collars are me. " don't worry, frank, it'll grow on her. " what even prompted you to— t-to p-put it on me? "
" w-what the? " / frank and aggie kjlskdjf

"What? Don't like it?" He asks teasingly as he looks to the blonde. "Pink suits ya."
