"You go' a list somewhere with endangered plants on i'?" No, Ghost isn't asking for any nefarious reason. Not at all.

" why do i feel like i can't trust you with that information and therefore shouldn't give it to you? "
> i'll see you at the cafe at 5pm, then 😊
well! the messaging process went surprisingly better than she thought it would. okay, good, that's good. she's a little more relaxed now. around three-thirty, her boss called and gave the okay for her to close up for the day, so agatha eagerly went to her car after doing just that and drove home. she showers, blow dries her hair (if she didn't, it'd take hours for it to dry), and gets dressed.
admittedly, deciding what to wear was a bit difficult. agatha wants to dress nice for a first date, but not overly so, nor overly casual. it's a date! she stops for a moment, biting her lower lip as she can't help but smile, the corners of her eyes crinkling. agatha rocks on the balls of her feet, unable to contain her excitement. unlike the other dates, she has an especially good feeling about this one. cash seems like a really great guy! he's cute, he's sweet, he already seems so caring. agatha hopes this works, she wants this to work out. she manages to calm herself and finishes getting dressed, lastly pulling her shoes on. she pats her dog's head, grabs her bag, keys and phone and heads out to her car.

she arrives at the cafe only five or so minutes after the time they settled on, a bit flustered as she comes up behind him, recognizing that blue hair immediately. she was going to apologize for being a little late, but stops when she sees cash's shirt. agatha blinks and then she can't help the laugh that spills from her lips. " you're very bold, aren't you, cash? "

> well being a dick is a one way ticket to not getting a second date so i'm not in the business of bein like that 😛 > also i mean i was raised treat others the way you wanna be treated and it works most of the time. unless someone doesn't subscribe to the idea and is needlessly a dick to you. but then that means if you follow the rule you can do it back because if they treat you bad that means they wanna be treated bad. full circle. kinda funny to put in practice. they never see it comin for some reason. > anyway, yeah, that sounds perf. i'll be there. probably gonna be hard to miss. blue mohawk kinda gives it away every time.
and that makes it time to put the phone down and go through the arduous task of 'how do i want to present myself'. it's a good few hours of time he has to pace the house, take a shower, organize his clothes. reorganize them. pick an outfit. put it back. pick another. put that back. he settles eventually for what he normally wears. first impression should be how he just is.
he settles on the faded and ripped jeans (stylistic choice) coupled with a red and white shirt which reads on the front 'WHAM BAM NO THANK YOU MA'AM' which he thinks is rather hilarious. he looks like a punk with no regard for propriety - which fits the bill. perfectly.
he's on time, five on the damn dot, when he arrives at the cafe. he almost immediately feels out of place - seeing as he's not the usual clientelle for a place like this. for a moment he pauses in the doorway, awkwardly shifting from one foot to the other. was dating always this fuckin' hard? christ no wonder i downloaded tinder.
@designedparadigm
agatha doesn't have much faith in dating apps when it seems most are in it for hookups and not real relationships. still, her friends insisted she put herself back out there if she actually wanted to find someone to be with. they argued it was better and easier than being a hopeless romantic and waiting for the right person to simply come into her life one day. she is a hopeless romantic, though, but she wants to be little more hopeful about it instead. agatha has had a few successful and a handful of unsuccessful first dates, none of which went anywhere. it tempts her to delete the app from her phone, but... oh, just one more chance can't hurt, right?
with the shop empty at this current moment, agatha leans against the counter, looking through tinder while she has this little bit of free time. there were a lot of handsome guys and pretty women, of course, but none that strike her fancy until she comes upon one profile that stops her swiping all at once. cash forscythe, hm? she looks over his profile, scrolling through the little obligatory biography and his likes and interests and what he hopes for from someone. agatha scrolls back up to look through his pictures. he's really cute, isn't he? tall, handsome, and quite the dazzling grin. she takes the chance and swipes right on cash's profile before setting her phone aside to help a customer that came into the shop.

once that was all over, she checked her phone to see cash had swiped right on her profile as well, blinking in surprise at the message he sent her. her features soon relax and a smile forms on her lips.
> well, hi to you, too! 😊 and i'm rarely deterred by appearances, especially when you're very handsome! > i suppose i might also be a bit surprised you swiped right on me, i wasn't sure i'd be your type
@despairforme
a sigh leaves the faerie's lips as she hangs up her keys and jacket by the door, moving to the living room to toss her phone onto the couch. she kicks off her shoes and rubs her face after plopping down onto the couch. after a slew of unsuccessful dates, the temptation to just delete tinder off of her phone is ever-growing. is it just her? or the people that have swiped right on her profile? agatha isn't sure. she just knows they all sucked tremendously and that putting herself out there in this way has wasted her time. she probably has better luck simply bumping into someone that would actually want to date her.
agatha gets back up and grabs a peach soda from the fridge, uncapping and beginning to drink it as she gets something else to eat. from the kitchen, she hears a notification pop up on her phone from tinder. someone swiped right on her. she thinks to ignore it and delete the app together and put it out of her mind forever, but something tells her not to. agatha's gaze drifts toward her phone and she moves toward it, setting her drink and snack on the coffee table and reaches out for her phone. she moves past the lockscreen and opens the app and stares in surprise. of all the people to swipe right on her profile, she never expected to see her best friend, nnoitra. was this... is it a joke? not that she wouldn't take a date with him seriously, agatha just assumed... well, they're friends. she didn't think he'd have an interest other than platonic. she didn't even know he was on tinder, but she supposes it makes sense with the flings he has.

her finger hovers over the screen, hesitating before swiping right on his profile, opening up the chat.
> nnoitra? i didn't expect to see you swiping on my profile 😅 > not that it bothers me! of course not, i'm just surprised!! > are you really interested in a date or... i don't know, is this just a joke? > silly, if you wanted to say hi, you could've just texted or called me! 😊
