Snarry Chan Rec List [ Master Post ]

Okay, one thing to keep in mind here is that not everyone had the same idea of Chan. Usually 17-18 will be considered that someone was old enough and yet there are some instances where it will be tagged as Underage. You might notice that I say Underage and not Chan. 

To my understanding, Chan = Underage but Underage ≠ Chan. But how will you know where the line between Chan and Underage is drawn?

In Snarry, I noticed that usually 15-16 is usually the acceptable age and anything below it would ruffle some feathers. So with that keep in mind I created 3 categories specifically for any Snarry Chan works that I rec here.

<14 [ Most likely considered as Chan]

15-16 [ Regarded as Neutral and leaning more positively to Underage ]

17 [ Usually considered Of age, sometimes still be tag with Underage ]

Now, you might be wondering why I made a category for 17. The only works that are included in here are the ones where there are development (Romantic or Sexual or Feeling of fondness) between the younger one and the older one before the younger one is seventeen but are not the focus of the story or anything (usually sexual) didn’t happen until they are of age.

Blood and Sex are basically the foundation of magic right? or something like that. There are these expectations that if you are serious in your relationship, you must consummate to prove that you are compatible and serious with your relationship.

Severus dreads this day to come when he is finally in a relationship with Harry. He had nothing against the sex itself but rather the fact he had to do it. It didn't feel right yet no one other than himself finds it weird.

But what can he do? It is better to just endure this so he could be with Harry or not be with Harry at all. He hopes when the time comes to consummate their relationship, he doesn't show his... displeasure too much.
