Can I just.. talk about this for a second.

HOLY SHIT.

Okay. So I expected that they were going to die, but then they died TWICE- Can I also talk about how it wasn't even a minute in the video but I'm pretty sure it got all of us panicking at that HP bar, like holy-- Imagine they died from the cactus or stalactite [I'm pretty sure the cactus can get rid of your items though so that'd be awful]. That'd be a huge wake up call to the episode. Imagine they just completely died 3 times and was out of the series, they might've gotten a little close there. Just-- DAMN-

And not Grian just stealing Pearl's otherside disc and jukebox lmao and then coming back later for an allyship. Also Grian just kinda outed themselves by being in the WINDOW-- And also I actually can't understand why he couldn't get back in after getting out but maybe it's because jumping mechanics are weird over that and you kinda need to not? If that makes sense.

And then. So. They were HIDING- AND THEY JUST SO HAPPENED TO FIND oh i cant even remember the name's of whose army it was- AND ITS EVEN FUNNIER BUT AWFUL BECAUSE IT WAS A COINCIDENCE- i cant even be mad at them for saying something when the others were close enough and they could actually hear them talking, because WOAH. HOW COULD YOU NOT SAY SOMETHING WHEN YOUR SOULMATES ABOUT TO DIE- and then does die, AND HOLY SHIT THAT WAS A LOT OF ZOMBIES.

and then.. The TNT trap- bait? With the skulk sensor setting it off. THE POTENTIAL. I didn't even think about how skulk sensors could contribute to traps, and honestly I'm not actually sure how they work, but based off of Grian's hermitcraft video where he played around with the skulk sensors for like a jumpscare, they can work even when underground.

I'd imagine it's just a skulk sensor next to TNT or something like that, but does that mean you could do it underground, and then since the proximity mod alerts the skulk sensors with your voice, someone could assumedly just be talking to their viewers while walking down a path and then BOOM setting off a tnt trap and DYING. That'd probably be a little unfair though.

Honestly I thought they were going to shoot Scar off of the bridge though but honestly the tnt is worse. It also though shows what you can do with it and really makes it a threat.

and THEN theres the stalactite kill Grian did against Ren (and BigB), and WOAH. That was fucking sick. I mean I knew that stalactite does a LOT of damage depending on how far away it is from a player [even the intro did that when it almost killed Scar], but honestly I didn't actually expect it to get a kill. I don't think I even saw Ren coming when Grian broke it and it killed him.

W o a h .

I really don't think this season is going to last long. Especially when there are soulmates who share your lives. while it's beneficial since you could be out getting hurt and your soulmates somewhere else and eating for you so your hp goes back up, it also backfires because if your soulmate dies, you die too, and then it just almost doubles how easily it can be to get everyone to red, aka take session 4 for example. I think it'd be better to just have one soulmate go out at a time while another is in a safe place and watching the hp bar carefully to heal you, since if you both were to go it'd make you take double damage, but I also do understand that that can get boring, not to mention could be a bad idea in some cases, and there also isn't a way for you to speak to your soulmate through some soul bond or whatever unless you're near them so you can talk with proximity.

This session really.. showed how dangerous it is, honestly, and how easy it is to die. It was a real big eye opener.

Task 9 - Narrate a Voyage around The Chamber using Three Modes of Transport

-------------------- MJ: So Mumbo began on a block. But then he set forth into the wild water rapids of the scientific lab. He battled the currents with extreme grace and elegance as he was once a swimmer of a team. [Subject MJ stumbles on words for a brief moment] He swam for a team at some point. And he has got excellent stroke and is incredibly smooth and just wonderfully elegant in the waves. But then he traveled down battling the currents as he did like a true hero. And he found the superpig! That he then stood on top of. And he said to the superpig: "I know you are normally stationary, but you can begin to move and traverse the land that is this scientific laboratory. And you can, you can step forth pig" He said to the pig, growing progressively more angry. "You can move pig. MOVE PIG!" He said, angrily. Getting progressively even more angry until eventually he decided that this pig probably wasn't gonna move any further. But he will wait! Because he is a patient man. He will wait a little... no? okay.

So he then decided that he would hop off the pig and sneak like this. Unable to battle the current. [Zedaph laughs from the other side of the glass] While sneaking, he decided that this will be his final resting place. And that is where the story ends, in the corner, lying down like a cod. ZEDAPH: The end? MJ: The end. -------------------- Modes of Transport 1. Swimming - When Zedaph mentions this mode of transport, the Subject insists that 'the one thing he is good at' is of speaking about how good he is at swimming. 2. Travelling on a Pig that Did not Move - Subject mentions that it was more of an emotional journey than a physical journey when questioned, stating that "Mumbo was on a journey emotionally" and that "He needed to learn to not let things, that he can't control, annoy him." 3. Sneaking - The Subject justifies himself, stating that he had already committed to it, and had forgotten that he was in the water and therefore, would not get anywhere. Subject continues on and admits that it was indeed an error. Similar to the situation with the pig [3], Subject tries to create a similar situation in which if the sneaking did not count as a mode of transportation, then it would be another emotional journey where '[MUMBO] realized that he had done something wrong.' Subject then justifies himself in that he now knows not to sneak in water, and later states that he does not know why he tried. -------------------- Task Conducted - Unknown Footage Released - 11-19-2021 To Be Reviewed.

coliseum / Scarian [3rd Life] Fic / Thoughts

okay. so. 1. The author has a tumblr so yeah.

2. HOLY SHIT. okay, so let me explain but you can probably tell from the post I reblogged by reading it, BUT the fanfic is currently still a WIP, and not finished yet. I don't know why the post stops at chapter 9 though, because right now it has 14 chapters.

Third- I do not need to actually explain the plot of the story because the blog is already there and if you can't tell like all my other fic thought reviews, i will very much be spoiling it.

so.

Grian. Watchers. Nothing can go wrong with technically Watcher Grian and I love that, and one of my favorite types of characters are Assassins. I dunno, I just find it interesting, but then we meet Scar and HELL YES. Scar conveniently solving the needing a place to stay problem, and honestly Desert Duo's one of my favorites.

I didn't actually take a look at the tags because I don't spoil myself that way and usually just read the summary (and if I'm still ensure what the summary means I go to the tags, but even those are confusing usually)

So zero idea there was Scarian but that was lovely too (honestly there was this note that said something about Grian and platonic feelings that made me go 'lol haha' and then do a double take like 'wait does he actually have platonic feelings and ive just been misunderstanding?' lMAO but then i think they.. got a little heated..? its not explicit but like.. uh... aNYwAY)

Scar. former mercenary. broke his legs because he misjudged how high a jump was. ow. but i think this was what Grian needed to get in a bit of a more comfortable household? Like cause so, he probably wouldn't be all that used to someone being kind or some shit and would be better with someone kinda like him (a little doubt there, theres always that sort of tension usually between two mercenaries as they both have capabilities to be able to take out the other)

but hed be able to release his tension a little bit with something more.. kind of familiar..? i dont know where I was going with that

And then Grian, who is.. suffering and I am very terrified he is going to die.

BUT THEN SCAR WAS PANICKED i dont know how he was able to tell it broke, maybe it broke on his end too but then what if it was reversed and scar got a near death experience that shattered Grian's? Or is there some sort of magic thing that alerts Scar?? hm..

I've just come with a realization.

Cause. So. I'm Pansexual but I kinda used to think of myself as more of Straight since I found myself more with an attraction to males than females, but Scott pointed out that it doesn't have to be a 50/50 and I just

woah. I mean the answer was probably right in front of my face and I kinda just didn't notice until someone pointed it out and I appreciate that.

Although I now know that I'm Pan even if I have more of an attraction towards males than females, I didn't really had that then and kinda just thought it was one way or another.

Because then I thought 'I mean I don't think I'd mind being in a relationship with a girl', but then it felt kinda wrong to label myself as Bisexual and so on if I like boys more, and I just kind of struggled with that for awhile.

I think that it might've been better if there were more representation over this kind of thing in a positive way and explaining it, because honestly I think I misunderstood the labels and took it way more seriously than I should've.

Like even when debating my gender, if I was nonbinary, but that was no gender and I was leaning more towards being male, but it's more like you don't have to fit an expectation for a specific label, because it's your own thing and there's kind of a spectrum. While there is technically I believe some sort of term for where I am on the gender side of things, I think that honestly, I fit more with the term nonbinary despite my pronouns being He/They when I think the common thought is that nonbinaries are They/Them.

Honestly it was because of that that I kinda just felt uncomfortable including it in my bios that I was nonbinary if I went by He/They, because then technically I wouldn't be nonbinary if I was going by he, because then I would be male since that's kinda how people think of pronouns, and I don't think pronouns have to reflect what gender you are though. You could be a female but go by they/them, he/him, she/they, etc etc. Atleast that's what I'd like to think?

I do struggle with that still though so I usually just settle on either referring to myself as nonbinary (they/them), or just he/they without the nonbinary label.

Honestly a lot of this has been about myself, but I do appreciate that there are a lot of creators nowadays who are in the community or are allys that are willing to help with the confusion, and able to explain in a way that just kinda makes you realize something.

It's done in such a positive and casual way that it's not like a big deal, and I think that's what a lot of us need in our lives.

I have also only just realized that sexualities and assumedly gender stuff is on like a spectrum, and you don't have to strictly fit the label to actually be it. Like you could label yourself as gay but you're bisexual or something. Technically you would still be gay, but a lot of people like to think that if you label yourself gay, then you are only gay and nothing else.

I like the freedom that you can be able to express yourself without having to worry about if it's accurate to you, and if other people see that as accurate. I do also like that so many people have spread information about this kind of thing around the internet so that if anyones having these questions or need to be more informed can easily find a website or something that talks about it and helps them get a better understanding of their own.

I love this community and I loved the panel. Sorry for pouring my heart out on this and getting a bit personal, and this also isn't actually fiction, but this is the blog where I kinda post my thoughts over things, and this is a better place for me to honestly put it, because in a way it kind of fits still. Or at least I hope it does.
