Rook Hunt

Rook is big on spoiling, that’s something we all know. He’s all about those random romantic gestures, everything that makes you feel like you’re living in some romance novel, so he might have encountered you with one of those plans in mind already. Seeing you looking so tired has him instantly knowing he needs to shift that plot a bit, though.

He’ll come to you more gently rather than showing up in a big surprise, telling you how, as always, you’re looking as beautiful as the setting sun in the sky now, but he can still see there’s something troubling you. Kind of coaxes you into talking about it, but if you don’t want to comply, he won’t pressure.

Brings you into Pomefiore for a quiet night in, gets you both dinner to eat in the garden, take your mind off things. If you feel like telling him about what went wrong, he’ll gladly listen to every word, but he’s also open to just bringing you back to his room and holding you in silence for a while. Anything to get your perfect smile back on your face, as he’d say.

Floyd Leech

Floyd is the sort who looks like he’d be oblivious to your feelings, but when it comes to that point, he’d actually notice pretty quickly that your energy had been cut down so drastically. When he comes to talk to you he’s usually all cheerful and playful in that way of his, but seeing you so tired has him acting softer.

He leans in close and asks you what happened, his voice quieter. Quick to put his arms around you, rest his head on top of yours. What’s wrong, Shrimpy? You’re looking all tired. Did someone do that? If yes, he wants to know who.

Mostly just tries to find something to cheer you up, though, sweetly coming up with all those suggestions. Maybe you two could get food and watch a movie, go for a walk around a place you like, hell, he’ll even suggest convincing Azul to close up the Lounge so you can spend some time near the aquariums. You’re not sure how serious he is about that, but it makes you giggle a bit, so maybe his plans are working out.
