Writing Headcanons Until I Get A Request - Day 1 - Momo Yayorozu! (My Hero Academia)
Writing headcanons until I get a request - Day 1 - Momo Yayorozu! (My Hero Academia)

She is ambidextrous
Very creative with makeup but doesn't like wearing it herself, helps the other girls in Class 1-A with theirs
Loves making/collecting friendship bracelets because she perceives it as carrying a piece of the people she loves with her and its comforting
Has a very intense resting face and people always ask her if shes ok or why she looks so angry
Asks her friends what the best part of their day was
Consistently arranges study sessions for her classmates but no one is particularly interested
Really enjoys repetitive hobbies like crochet and bracelet making
Not interested in sports but still very athletic
Makes extremely carefully curated playlists for every mood and situation (and LOVES recommending music to people)
Isn't very good at explicitly buying gifts for people (like for their birthday or Christmas) but when she sees something one of her friends would like she buys it and gives it to them immediately
Very generally indecisive
If you would like to submit a headcanon-related ask, you can either submit your own list of headcanons for a specific character or ask me for my headcanons on a specific character. I would love to hear your thoughts!

idc what anyone says, rtc is genuinely such a beautiful story
My friend had been OBSESSED with the musical at the beginning of the year and was begging me to watch it but I thought it was â¨cringe⨠so I â¨didnâtâ¨. Then one day I heard The Smartphone Hour in an edit and became unhealthily obsessed with the song, realized it was from BMC, and watched it immediately. Now itâs my favorite musical and that friend from the beginning makes fun of me for liking it so much đ
Be More Chill fandom, I have a question:
What first exposed you to the musical, or the book, or whatever? I always find these to be interesting answers because of all the ways it could've come about lol
Mine was coming across a video of Gaten Matarazzo singing Michael in the Bathroom because I've been a fan of Stranger Things since 2021 lmao I think I heard the song around 2021/2022-ish and listened to it constantly, but eventually forgot about it, never watched the musical until like February or March this year lmao
You should all go watch BMC (Be More Chill) right now because it's just some loserguy does drugs and the drugs are sentient and make him take over his high school
âźď¸Yap Alertâźď¸ Idk if this is a hot take, but whatever. So when it comes to musical theatre, I would much rather take great acting over like perfect singing during the songs. Like yes, I want the singing to be good, and you probably do have to be a decent singer to be able to act good while singing, but Iâd rather listen to an average singer act their heart out while doing it than a professional trying to sound perfect.
I was thinking about this because I decided to watch a video of a live performance of Dead Mom from Beetlejuice the Musical and I ended up liking it better than the album version. In the live version it (obviously) doesnât sound like it was recorded in a studio and so the quality of the singing wouldnât be as good, like there were points where you could tell that she was kinda out of breath and points where she might be quieter than the album version. But where the album version gained in quality, it lost in acting. In the live version I watched, there were more âcrysâ, and one thing she did a lot was that she might end a note by kind of screaming, (idk how to explain it) and even though all of that makes the song sound less I guess, Americaâs Got Talent worthy??? Idk? It ended up feeling much more raw, like you could hear the emotions behind all of it. To me itâs kinda like, the emotions that sheâs feeling during the song are messy so therefor the song being messy as well just makes sense.
Idek what Iâm yapping about here but hopefully it makes sense. Iâd also like to say that Iâm not hating on the album version, I love it, and I know that it makes sense to tone down the acting for albums.
Heereâs the bmc part of this yapfest:
So a lot of the reason that people donât like Will Rolandâs Jeremy is because he âsings everything wrongâ or something, and I will admit that I was kind of skeptical when I first listened to the bmc broadway album, but now I love it. As I said before, I prefer the acting being great over the singing being great, so when Will Roland makes all those goofy noises, I actually enjoy it because it adds to his character. Although Iâll say that it can feel a little out of place during some songs, and I can see why some people might not like it. One song that comes to mind where the goofy noises do add a lot to the song is Loser Geek Whatever. I think that those âI wantâ type songs like LGW and Dead Mom are the best to be sungâŚweirdly? Idk? I donât wanna repeat myself, but, the emotions that the characters are feeling are messy so the songs being sung messily makes sense.
TLDR: Itâs kinda cool when actors do weird things when singing because it makes the song feel more real.
Alright, yapfest over:3
