Pairing- VampireKing!Jungkook ร Human!Reader
Genre- Arranged Marriage AU (Sort of?), Enemies to Lovers, Soulmate AU
Summary- Jeon Jungkook was known to be a tyrant, destroying anything and everything to get what he wanted. And this time, he wanted you.
Warnings- Mentions of blood, gore and murder scenes, eventual smut, JK is definitely a hard dom and mad possessive, vampire bites and blood sucking.
A/N- Even though I have tagged the people who asked to be tagged, there will be no taglist for this series from here on. I only tagged you guys to sort of let you know this series has started. It's a big struggle to keep all those usernames up to date so you might wanna turn on the notifs :)
Please find the introduction to the world of Amour Mort here!

You ran through the forest, tears in your eyes making it difficult to see the path ahead, but you could tell you were venturing deeper into the more dangerous side. At the back of your mind, you were very aware that you shouldnโt be here past midnight, and that if someone found you breaking curfew, you would probably be executed by the throne, thinking you were some sort of rebel revolting in the recent uprisings. But all of that paled in comparison to the despair gnawing at your soul.
The branches clawed at your skin, leaving angry red marks, but you didnโt slow down, only realizing you had come here barefoot when tiny stones began hurting the bottom of your feet. You were being chasedโnot by a person, but by your own thoughts and the relentless ache in your chest. Your fatherโs words would not stop playing in your mind, your palms pressing against your ears as you closed your eyes in an attempt to silence his voice.
"You're nothing but a burden to me. I wish you had never been born!"
Suddenly, a sharp pain seared through your right foot, sending you stumbling and falling to the ground with all the air being knocked out of your lungs. You winced, letting out a whimper as you managed to look back, gasping at the bear trap that had clamped around your foot. Its teeth dug into your flesh, and blood pooled on the dead leaves beneath you.
โNoโฆโ you cried out, sobbing at your misfortune, the pain from your wound shooting through your leg in waves. A thought came to you: maybe this is how you die, completely alone and unloved, with no one to care that you werenโt at home right now.
โThatโs not true! Lila caresโฆโ
Your mind screamed at you, your sisterโs pretty face popping into your head. Well, this was true; your sister did care about you. But really, there was only so much she could do when your father did not even acknowledge you as his daughter. You still remembered the party where a guest mistook you for a maiden working in the mansion. It had truly hurt you, but there was nothing you could say, not when that is probably what your father wanted the world to think. A part of you thinks he hates you because your mother died just five days after you were born, but how could you, a mere baby, be at fault for that?
Gathering all your energy, you began to drag yourself to a tree nearby, wincing and whimpering with every wave of pain that washed over you. You could even feel the burn on the skin of your forearms where it rubbed against the rocky and muddy ground, convinced that the sleeve of your dress was beginning to tear. Were you even going to make it back home? Did you even want to make it back home?
Upon reaching the giant tree, you pushed yourself up, managing to rest your back against the trunk, finally getting a good look at the steel trap wrapped around your foot. Meant for animals, it was likely a tool for the poorer vampires who couldnโt afford human slaves and fed on animal blood instead. It was the one law that favored humans: vampires were forbidden to feed on them freely. But nonetheless, it was always the innocent ones who had to pay the price. The night-walkers were given the gift of strength and brutality that they used against the weak, be it you or an animal.
Your chest rose and fell quickly, your breathing growing harsh, and your vision growing blurry. It was the blood loss, and you couldnโt even feel the pain anymore. Either you were getting used to it, or your body had started focusing on the fact that you were dying instead. Whatever was happening, it was not good, and you had no idea how to help yourself.
โYou shouldnโt be here. Not at this time.โ A voice broke through the darkness, making you jump in surprise, your eyes immediately landing on a manโs silhouette standing just a few steps away from you. Your heart hammered in your chest, and, swallowing thickly, you pressed yourself further against the tree, hoping that would make you disappear.
Was this someone who was going to turn you in? Maybe the cause of your death was going to be execution and not a bear trap?
Your silence only prompted the man to move closer to you and into the moonlight filtering through the trees, your lips parting as you took in his face. He was truly breathtaking, with black hair that fell across his forehead and eyes that seemed to pierce through the night. There was black ink peeking at you from under the collar of his black shirt on his neck, more patterns emerging from under his rolled-up sleeve right up to his knuckles, making you wonder just how much of his body was tainted like this.
โN-neither should you,โ you said bravely, though your voice was small and weak.
He chuckled in response, making you purse your lips as you watched him kneel down beside you, your body subconsciously shifting backward even though there was nowhere to go, every single thought in your mind long gone in the presence of this man.
His eyes slowly moved across your body, taking in your tear-stained cheeks, your tattered dress, and your bloody foot, tutting at the condition of your wound.
โThis is why you shouldnโt be here, little human,โ he said, your eyes widening as you caught a hint of amusement on his face, your blood running cold at the realization. Your breath was caught in your throat, and you were suddenly very aware of the blood you were soaked in, your eyes nervously flitting between him and your poor foot. If you had to die, you didnโt want to do so at the hands of a vampire. In fact, you couldnโt even imagine the pain that was probably about to suffocate you when he ripped your heart right out of your chest.
โPlease donโt kill me,โ you begged, staring into his eyes with tears in yours, shaking your head when he smirked and leaned in closer to you. Closing your eyes, you let the tears fall freely and turned your face away from him, his breath fanning your neck and making you whimper.
โYou must taste exquisite.โ He inhaled deeply, your chest heaving as his words made your heart thump harder in your chest. This has to be it. He was going to drain your body right now, and no one was going to find out ever.
Preparing yourself for the attack, you closed your eyes shut and gripped the skirt of your dress, thinking about your family for the last time before your life was taken from you.
โBut Iโm not going to do that.โ Came his voice, your eyes slowly opening as you glanced over at him, noticing the sudden distance he had put between the two of you. A frown etched on your forehead, your tears drying up on your cheeks as you processed his words. He was not going to hurt you?
โIโm too old to lose control over a bit of blood.โ He gestured nonchalantly towards your foot, shocking you at how he thought this was just a bit of blood. You were literally going to pass out soon.
โWh-why are you here?โ you stammered, biting your tongue when his expression hardened, his eyes sending daggers your way and letting you know that you shouldnโt have asked him that. Silence engulfed you both, your eyes failing to look away from him. It was almost as if he was holding you prisoner under his gaze, a flash of guilt disappearing from his dark eyes as soon as it came.
โI had to get away before they caught up to me,โ he confessed, a cool breeze ruffling his hair as he stood up and stared down at you, his eyes reading the confusion in yours.
โWho-โ
โMy sins,โ he responded before you could even ask, his thick boots crunching the leaves on the gravelly path as he walked in front of your stretched-out leg and sat down on one knee. A flash of lightning struck through the sky at that very second, as if to show that the heavens had heard his confession too. And when the thunder illuminated his face, you could swear you had seen the very face of evil.
โAre you scared of me?โ he asked, tilting his head as you swallowed thickly, shaking your head hesitantly. But you knew he didnโt believe you when he let out a small laugh. It sounded bitter to your ears, like he was mocking you for being so weak yet trying to fool him at the same time.
โWell, you should be.โ In one quick motion, his hand ripped apart the trap into two pieces, your flesh being freed from the sharp claws that were jammed into it. Dots filled your vision as your lips parted in a silent scream, your chest hurting as if you were having a heart attack, and maybe you were because you felt your body go limp as your eyes rolled back into your head.
Strong arms held you before you could hit the ground, your head suddenly resting against a firm chest as your breath came out all raggedy. You could feel sweat beading on your forehead, your body not having any energy to even let you open your eyes for a second.
โW-whyโฆโ you breathed out, your voice a bare whisper in the night. And the next thing you knew, you felt a hand pressing against your lips before a metallic taste filled your mouth. With all the energy left in you, you opened your eyes wide and grabbed the tattooed arm feeding you blood, your attempts at pushing it away failing miserably.
โSshh, you need this. You need me,โ the vampire whispered above you, his chin resting atop your head as he ran his free hand through your hair. Knowing that you couldnโt fight him off, not like this, you gave up and swallowed the disgusting liquid that made your body feel warm all of a sudden. You could hear your heart pumping and your breathing steadying as the blood worked its way into your system, your senses sharpening, and your strength slowly returning.
After what felt like an eternity, he pulled his arm away, and you let out a string of coughs, gasping for air while the awful taste lingered on your tongue. It was truly ironic how the blood of someone dead could heal a living being. How a killer could give life to someone. And you were sure that this man who had saved your life was a killer too. Why else would he talk about his sins catching up to him?
โWhat did you do that you had to run away?โ you asked as soon as you found your voice, your tired eyes glancing up at the man holding you. His eyes flitted between your eyes and your lips, sending shivers down your spine when he brought up his thumb and rubbed away some blood from the corner of your mouth.
โWhatโs your name?โ He avoided your question smoothly, pretending you hadnโt spoken a word to him. Frowning, you thought about it for a moment, wondering whether it was a good idea to tell him who you were. But at the same time, you werenโt a very valuable human. There was really nothing he could want from you that would make him hunt you down.
โY/N,โ you said, averting your gaze to your foot, which was now void of any wounds. Your skin looked completely smooth and untouched except for the dried blood staining it, leaving you staring in awe.
โWell, Y/N,โ he started, regaining your attention, โyouโre gonna find out tomorrow.โ
You frowned at his words, wondering if this implied that he was going to see you tomorrow to tell you what sin he had committed. Too lost in your head to notice that he had stood up, you saw him offer his hand to you. Your fingers hesitantly took hold of his cold ones. With ease, he pulled you up as you slightly lifted your dress and examined your foot, pleased with the fact that there was absolutely no pain anymore.
โThis is-โ You turned to glance at the man, only to be met with darkness. The vampire was gone, the forest was silent, and you were alone once again.

You walked quickly down the desolate street, the night air biting at your cheeks and numbing your fingers. Each step felt like a battle against the encroaching darkness, the moon's weak light doing little to push back the shadows that seemed to press in from all sides. A shiver of fear slid down your spine; his presence was a constant, unsettling whisper at the edge of your awareness. He, your stalker, was always near, his invisible gaze a weight on your shoulders. The recent closeness of his stalking was beginning to fray your nerves, each close encounter leaving you more unsettled than the last.
The dim glow of a flickering street lamp ahead offered a glimmer of hope. You quickened your pace, the cold air harsh against your face as you made your way to the bus stop. There, under the sputtering light, a man sat hunched over his phone, his posture rigid with a mix of anxiety and concentration. His eyes flicked up as you approached, and his face blanched in surprise. He shrank back, his body language a clear, involuntary reaction of fear.
Ignoring the manโs frightened retreat, you took a seat next to him. Your movements were deliberate but tense, each shift in position betraying your underlying agitation. You could feel your breath misting in the chill air, coming out in sharp, uneven puffs. The proximity of the stranger, combined with your heightened senses, only intensified the disquiet simmering just beneath the surface.
Your gaze darted to the dim street, searching for any sign of the figure who haunted you. The air around you crackled with an electric tension, thick and heavy with unspoken fears. As you tried to steady your breathing, you couldnโt ignore the closeness of the man beside you. His shift away, his slight trembleโeverything about him seemed to resonate with the same uneasy energy you felt.
Every shift of his body, every subtle tremor in his hands, felt charged, almost as if the atmosphere itself was thickening with each breath you took. The warmth of your body contrasted sharply with the frigid night, creating a strange, almost unbearable tension in the confined space. You were painfully aware of the space between you shrinking, the physical closeness amplifying the electric current of anticipation and anxiety that danced between you.
In this eerie cocoon of light and shadow, your sense of isolation seemed to deepen. Each breath you took, each glance towards the darkened street, was a silent plea for the nightmare to end. The bus stop, once a beacon of hope, now felt like a stage set for your deepest fears. The atmosphere pulsed with a charged intensity, a constant reminder of the shadow you couldnโt escape.
The manโs gaze darted nervously between you and the dark street, his eyes wide and frantic. You followed his frantic glances, and your heart dropped like a stone. There he was, emerging from the shadows by the gnarled tree. His towering figure was shrouded in the deep, dark folds of his hoodie, but the cruel smirk curling his lips was unmistakable. He stood there, an immovable sentinel in the gloom, his eyes burning with a predatory satisfaction that sent icy shivers racing down your spine.
Every muscle in your body tensed as you tried to steady your racing heart. The busโs headlights sliced through the darkness, a sudden, blinding beacon of hope. The man at the stop stiffened, his shoulders jerking up in a barely concealed attempt to escape the mounting tension. As he hurriedly climbed aboard, you felt a wild, desperate urge to follow him. Your fingers grazed the edge of your seat as you half-rose, eyes locked on the bus.
But as you glanced at the route map, the reality struck with a crushing weight. The bus veered off in a direction that had no relation to your destination. The hope that had sparked within you fizzled out, leaving behind a bleak, sinking feeling. Your shoulders slumped, and you sank back into your seat, feeling the oppressive weight of the predatorโs gaze grow even more intense.
The bus and the man vanished into the night, and the oppressive stillness of the bus stop seemed to close in on you. Every breath you took was laden with the heavy, electric tension of the moment. The distance between you and the shadowy figure by the tree felt charged with an almost unbearable energy, the air between you thick with an unspoken, menacing promise. The flickering light above did little to dispel the darkness, only deepening the palpable, charged atmosphere around you.
Your stalker began moving again, his strides quick and deliberate, each step a steady, relentless approach. His eyes were locked onto you with an unwavering intensity, and the weight of his gaze felt like a physical force pushing against your back. Panic exploded inside you, and you took off, sprinting down the deserted street. Your bag slipped from your shoulder, hitting the pavement with a hollow thud, but you couldnโt afford to stop. You zigzagged through alleyways, taking sharp turns in a desperate bid to lose him, but his footsteps echoed behind you, a constant, menacing reminder of his pursuit.
Your breath came in ragged gasps, each inhale sharp and desperate. Your legs burned, and every corner you rounded seemed to bring you closer to the edge of collapse. The alleyways were a labyrinth of shadows, but no matter how many turns you took, his presence remained unnervingly close, like a dark cloud stalking your every move.
At last, you had hidden yourself in the corner, your breath coming in harsh, frantic bursts. You pressed yourself against a cold, unforgiving wall, the rough brick scraping your back as you tried to steady your pounding heart. You could hear his footsteps growing louder, each step a slow, deliberate march that amplified the tension between you.
Suddenly, he emerged from the dim light, his imposing figure cutting through the shadows. He moved with a sinuous, almost predatory grace, his presence overwhelming and oppressive. His gaze locked onto you with a fierce intensity, and his smirk deepened, curling in a way that sent shivers down your spine. The shadow he cast was long and menacing, a stark contrast to the flickering, uncertain light around you. His body language exuded both menace and allure, his movements calculated and deliberate, every gesture charged with a dark, magnetic energy that made your pulse race.
You could feel the electric tension between you, a heavy, almost unbearable force that seemed to crackle in the air. The closeness of his presence, combined with the desperation in your own movements, created an almost suffocating intimacy in the dark alley, where every breath felt like a shared secret, fraught with fear and an unsettling, unspoken attraction.
He stepped forward, his body pressing you against the wall with a commanding, almost bruising presence. Your breath hitched as his warmth enveloped you, his breath tickling your neck with a mixture of danger and intimacy. His arms encircled you, the grip tight and possessive, each muscle in his body a solid, unyielding force pressed against your back.
Your heart pounded in your chest, every beat a frantic reminder of the closeness and the overwhelming sensation of his body against yours. His chest was hard and powerful, its heat searing through the thin fabric of your clothes. You could feel every movement of his breathing, the rise and fall of his chest a relentless rhythm that seemed to synchronize with your own erratic breaths.
โWho are you?โ you managed to gasp, your voice trembling as you tried to keep the fear out of your tone. โPlease, just let me go.โ
He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against your ear with a chilling, intimate touch. The contact sent shivers down your spine, a mix of terror and something else, something unsettlingly intimate. "Iโm Jeon Jungkook," he murmured, his voice a soft, seductive purr that dripped with both menace and allure. "Iโve waited too long for this. I never imagined it would be like this, but they know about you, sweetheart. You need to come with me. I need you alive to survive." His enemies are already hunting you, aware that youโre his only weakness. To get to him, they wonโt hesitate to hurt you.
The way he spoke was a blend of dark promise and seductive control, each word an echo of his twisted obsession. His breath was hot against your ear, mingling with the icy fear that clung to your skin. The tension between you was a living, palpable thing, charged with an almost unbearable intensity. Every shift of his body against yours, every brush of his lips, made the air feel thick and electric, a constant reminder of the dangerous allure he wielded.
The name hit you like a freezing waveโJungkook, the feared mafia boss. Your eyes widened in terror, and a fresh wave of panic surged through you. You could feel your heart hammering wildly in your chest, each beat a frantic reminder of your peril.
He continued speaking, his voice a dark, smooth purr that seemed to graze your skin with every word. โIโve watched you from afar, admired you. Youโre mine now.โ His arms tightened around you, pulling you even closer until every inch of your body was pressed against his. โI protect whatโs mine with everything I have, and youโโ He emphasized his claim by drawing you even tighter against his chest, his breath hot and heavy on your neck, โโyouโre my most treasured possession.โ
His words dripped with a dark, possessive certainty, each syllable wrapped in a shrouded promise. The heat of his body was overwhelming, a searing pressure that seemed to suffocate the space between you. His breath mixed with yours, creating a taut, almost unbearable intimacy that seemed to charge the air around you.
You tried to plead again, your voice cracking with raw desperation. โPlease, let me go.โ
His grip remained unyielding, his touch more possessive, almost claiming. โI canโt do that. Youโre mine and in danger.โ His voice was low, unwavering, and the intensity of his gaze burned into you. โAnd I protect whatโs mine fiercely.โ
The closeness of his body, the firmness of his hold, and the relentless, smoldering intensity in his eyes created a charged atmosphere, an almost tangible heat that enveloped you. The air felt thick with the electric tension of his possessive touch, and every movement, every breath shared between you seemed to amplify the dark, unsettling allure of his presence.
His hands roamed over you with an unsettling familiarity, every touch a mix of thrill and terror. His fingers traced possessive paths along your sides, pressing and squeezing with a dominance that was both commanding and unnerving. Each caress seemed to linger longer than necessary, igniting a shiver that ran the length of your spine.
The night seemed to close in around you, the shadows stretching and distorting as if drawn into the gravity of his embrace. The flickering streetlight cast fleeting patterns across your faces, making his features appear both menacing and alluring. His grip tightened, drawing you impossibly closer until your bodies were pressed together, every muscle and curve aligned in an intimate, inescapable closeness.
The tension between you was a live wire, sparking and crackling with an intensity that left you breathless and trembling. His breathing was a warm, steady rhythm against your ear, the sound creating a stifling cocoon of heat around you. The cold of the night was a stark contrast to the searing heat of his touch, making the air between you feel electric and charged.
In the eerie stillness, surrounded by encroaching darkness and the biting chill, you were trapped in his embrace, caught between fear and a dark, undeniable attraction. The oppressive force of his hold was a constant reminder of your helplessness, leaving you tangled in a web of sensation and emotion you couldnโt fully grasp or escape.

the gun
spencer reid x genius!bau!reader
oh yes, oh yes, oh yes, they both reached for the gun, the gun, the gunโฆ
"you just needed to prove to Spencer, once and for all, that you had all the skills to be the best agent, the best genius."
word count: 2.3k
warnings: cm violence, blood, enemies to lovers, kinda rushed im sorryyyy, fem reader slightly mentioned

Spencer and you always competed. He had an eidetic memory, you had a photographic.
The difference between you two was anything you ever saw, read, you held in long-term memory. Spencerโs, though, resided in short term. However, Spencer was also an autodidact, meaning he could teach himself anything. You also had a vast emotional intelligence. You had such strong empathy, you could detect any micro-detail anyone displayed, making you the perfect lie-detector one that even Hotch couldnโt evade.
Spencer was Jason Gideonโs special boy. Gideon helped Spencer make his way in the BAU. You were David Rossiโs special girl, him noticing your skills from a young age when he met you during a case. He guided you to make all the best choices, leading you to the BAU as well. It took a few years, timing and all, but you got there.
When Dave transferred to Quanticoโs BAU, he requested your transfer as well. He thought you would mesh well with the team. More specifically, he assumed you and Spencer would become a genius duo; totally unstoppable.
Oh, how wrong he was. It was from the moment youโd corrected Spencer on some statistic he spewed, you both became enemies forced to co-exist on the same team. There was never a civil moment, always some fight. It was sad, too. You remembered the first time you saw him, you were struck by how cute he was. Too bad he decided to hate you before you got a chance.
Vividly, you remembered the most intense fight you both had.
โSo someone with a medical degree,โ Hotch muttered. โThatโs got to be impossible.โ
โItโs more likely that have a nursing degree.โ Spencer replied. โWeโd be looking at around one hundred eighty thousand people a year. If our unsub is a new graduate, thatโs the numbers weโd be looking through.โ
You shook your head, โItโs actually one hundred fifty seven thousand. Also, narrow it down to nursing degrees in New York, and you get around eight thousand. Eleven percent were men, so around six hundred. Lower it even more to those who donโt have any family members, most likely from group homes, you can get maybe seventy?โ
oh, yes
Garcia clacked away at her keyboard, โMy babyโs got it! Seventy two people. If weโre looking at NYU specifically, thirteen.โ
Pride filled your system. It was fulfilling when you were able to get things right. Spencer, on the other hand, wasnโt too happy about that.
โYou know, nobody asked your opinion.โ He scoffed.
โIt isnโt opinion, Reid. Itโs purely fact, ones you should probably get right.โ Your reply had Spencer clenching his fists.
How dare you insult his intelligence? His IQ was much larger than yours, you werenโt one to speak on that. โMaybe you should focus on the case instead of trying to be a people pleaser,โ Spencer sneered your way.
His reply made you roll your eyes, โAt least I can tell what people want. Youโre oblivious, Reid.โ
oh, yes
Slowly, the two of you began to go back and forth, your voices raising. Before the situation blew up, Hotch stepped in, trying to mediate. However, Spencer mumbled something under his breath, something you couldnโt just let go. It hurt, stung like a bee, and you werenโt going to let him walk away feeling victorious.
โAt least my mentor didnโt up and leave me.โ you snapped. โHeโs still with me, he didnโt just vanish with a stupid little note as a dingy goodbye.โ
Spencer had paused, face dropping. You read him like a book, youโd gone too far. He showed minuscule signs of distress, grief, sadness. The room was silent, no one quite knew what to say.
oh, yes
โReid, I-โ
โSave it.โ
Spencer had walked away, leaving you to feel shameful of your words. Rossi just squeezed your shoulder. The man knew you didnโt mean it.
they both
Since then, it was like the two of you were on each otherโs cases, constantly bickering and arguing. Now, you were almost subconsciously battling each other for the genius role of the team. Was there any need to? No, not at all, but your fights had become not a battle, but a war.

You stood outside the bank with your team. โThey have hostages,โ You identified, attempting to peer inside. โThereโs no way we can go in. Itโs a suicide-murder mission.โ
oh, yes
โThereโs gotta be a way,โ JJ shook her head. โMaybe thereโs another way in.โ
โIt doesnโt look like it,โ Derek sighed.
After a few hours, Will made the decision to go inside. You had to help hold back JJ as he walked in. Hearing the bullets made you sick. You physically had to double over, holding back the tears. It suddenly hit you how dire the situation was. You went back to the van with the team. No one really knew what to say.
"Did you see where he was shot?" JJ asked. "Is he alive or dead, Garcia?"
Penelope's breath was shaky, "I don't know."
"He was wearing a vest." Emily reasoned. "He might be okay."
JJ gave a smile, but it was one of disbelief. "Might be," She muttered, shaking her head in reply.
It was then that the team decided to go in. You shoved your gun in your holster, "I'll take first point," You offered. "Check and see if Will's okay. I'll try and manipulate them into letting me go to him." Hotch nodded. With your knowledge of psychology and your emotional intelligence, Hotch knew you could do it.
they both
"L/n, it's too dangerous." You heard Spencer say over the phone. "Just wait for me to tell you where to go in."
You rolled your eyes, "Reid, I'm not stupid. I've handled multiple hostage situations."
Spencer didn't reply. You liked that. This was the first time you'd be able to prove yourself without Spencer's help. This was honestly just a way for you to prove you were the better of the two. Your actions were motivated by the desire to be the best; a classic narcissistic move. You weren't a narcissist, though. You just needed to prove to Spencer, once and for all, that you had all the skills to be the best agent, the best genius.
Oddly enough, hostages flooded out of the bank as you made your way back outside. Maybe Will was alive and managed to get them all out. Once none more came out, you and two other cops began to make your way inside stealthily.
Right as you got in the middle of the bank, you heard Rossi's panicked voice over your comms, "Abort, abort!"
oh, yes
There was no time to reply. It all happened so suddenly. You heard the explosion before you felt it. It was hard to breathe. You couldn't see, hear. It slowly registered that there was a bomb, and it went off.
they both reached for
You had no clue where you had been thrown to. Everything felt cold, really cold. A loud ringing filled your ears as you slowly sat up. You touched your head, pulling back to feel stickiness on your fingers. Your vision was blurry, but you knew it was blood. You had to get out of the building. You needed help, medics, your team. Was anyone else in your team inside yet?
they both reached for the gun
A grunt left your lips as you stood up. You felt your legs give out under you, and you went down again. The desire to live was stronger than your physical weakness, and you stood up again. It was so dusty and hazy that you couldn't see. You leaned on the nearest wall for support, slowly using it to try and find your way out of the building. All that you heard in your head was get out, survive, get out, survive.
After what felt like ages, you felt a breeze against your skin. You followed it, hoping it would lead out, and it did. The light was harsh on your eyes as you tried to scan the area. It was then you saw Spencer and Hotch-- what was Spencer doing here? He was still at the BAU last you'd checked. Maybe the blast knocked you out cold.
Trudging your way over, you weakly called out. "Aaron, Spencer,"
the gun
Spencer knew he heard his name. He looked up from the blueprints of the building to see you, blood covering different parts of your body, your skin covered in debris and dust. You had limp, and your eyes were blown out. "Oh my god," he muttered, running over to you.
the gun
The genius took your in his arms as you fell into him, "How'd you get here?" you asked. "What's for dinner?"
Spencer took notice of your confusion as he allowed you to lean on him. He took your face in his hands, "Y/n, look at me. Focus on me,"
the gun
You couldn't directly look at him. Your eyes darted all over the place. "Where's Rossi? Did he go in?"
"No, Rossi's okay." Spencer leaned over his shoulder, "We need a medic!" He yelled, quickly turning his attention back to you. "It's okay, you're okay."
oh, yes
"I can't feel anything," you breathed out, "That can't be normal. Is that normal? Spencer, am I dying?"
oh, yes
Spencer shook his head, "You're okay, it's okay."
"I can't die," You softly whimpered. "I'm sorry, Spencer. 'M so mean to you, I don't mean to be."
Deep down, Spencer knew you meant what you were saying. The fear of dying without getting your true feelings out always lead to admissions of the truth. "I know, I know," Spencer smoothed your hair. "I don't hate you, I don't. You're going to be okay." Spencer slowly became anxious as he noticed the amount of blood seeping from your head. "Look at me, please, keep talking to me."
"'M sorry," You muttered, feeling your eyes grow heavy. Spencer's face began to fade as you collapsed in his arms.
Spencer felt his breathing grow heavy as he held you tightly. "Medic! She's-- oh, god, Help!"
they both reached for the gun.

A steady beeping was the first thing you heard as you woke up. The light was a blinding white, and you let out a groan at it. Your body hurt like hell, and your head was pounding.
"Shh, shh. It's okay, here, let me just--"
The white lights went out and all that was left was the stream of daylight coming through the windows, along with a lamp that was a warmer light. It was much more comfortable that way. You quickly guessed you were in a hospital. The beeping, white lights, smell of rubbing alcohol that you just identified.
"How do you feel?"
Spencer. You turned your head to look at him. His face held deep concern. He was holding your hand. "I--" You paused, considering his question. "I feel like shit."
He let out a soft chuckle, "Yeah. You kind of got exploded." That's right, the bomb.
"Oh, Will, the team, are they okay?" You softly asked.
Spencer nodded, "Everyone's okay, we got the unsubs. It's all okay now."
You remembered Spencer's words. You should have waited to go in. If you had waited, maybe you wouldn't be in this situation right now. "I should've listened to you." You stated weakly. "You were right. I was being stupid."
"Hey, no," Spencer quickly interrupted. "You were doing your job."
"I wasn't," you shook your head. "I wanted to prove myself. I-I wanted.. to show that I didn't just do victimology and simple hostage relief situations. I wanted to prove myself like you have." You stopped, sucking in a pained breath. You felt your eyes become glassy. "I wanted to prove to everyone I was just as good as you."
Spencer felt his heart break at your words. You both knew overall, he was smarter. It never occurred to him that your constant bickering was to prove yourself, and not to prove him wrong. "You're better." Spencer decided to say. "I mean, I can't relate to our victims, hell, our unsubs the way you can."
"Spencer,"
"I'm serious." He continued. "You're so important to this team. You-you push us to be better." Spencer cleared his throat, "You push me to be better."
You stared at Spencer blankly for a moment, "I never told you that I like this haircut."
Spencer gave you a slightly surprised look. "Yeah?"
"Yeah," You hummed. "It makes you look, I don't know, less like Einstein and more like, uh, a really smart James Dean."
"James Dean," Spencer repeated, "I've never gotten that one before. Are those meds talking right now?"
You shook your head slowly, "Probably the clearest I've thought in a while." You replied, causing Spencer to smile. "Why did you stay with me?"
Spencer paused for a moment, "I wanted to make sure you were okay. I know we bicker a lot. Well, more than a lot. Probably several times a day, but I still care about you. I-I was.. really scared for you. I don't think I could forgive myself if I let you walk in there and you'd died."
"It wouldn't have been your fault," You tried. Spencer just shook his head.
"It would have been. I should've rationalized it with you. When I saw you, I just thought, 'What have I been doing this whole time? Have I really been wasting my breath arguing with you when we could've made the best team'? I remember when Rossi first introduced you, I was like, 'No way someone this pretty is doing this', when you should've been some model or something." Spencer rambled. He did that, paired with hand fidgeting, when he was nervous. He rambled as he played with your fingers.
You took a breath in, hoping for the best. "Hey, maybe we could, uh, go to one of those team based trivia nights at O'Keefe's?"
"Are-are you asking me out?" Spencer asked.
"Only if you're saying yes." You responded. "I, uh, maybe thought we could start over."
Spencer gave a chuckle, "Yeah, trivia night sounds good. I'd like a retry at this. Maybe we're, uh, meant to be more than just a team."
You smiled at him, knowing that a simple friendship wouldn't be highest point of your new relationship with the genius.

You
The bustling hall symphonized sight and sound, the cacophony of it was a sensory overload. Students hurried past obligating to their job. Warm white lightings illuminate the surroundings, the glossy mahogany plywood reflecting the rays in all directions.
Professors and in-charges barked commands, motioning the poor juniors in various directions. Chairs and tables were arranged on the stage , bouquets of flowers placed on them beside each placard.
Small plastic bottles laid on tables near the walls, the cool condensing on their surface, leaving droplets of water behind.
Picking one from the table, I unscrewed the cap, the seal yielding to the gentle pressure of my fingers left a satisfying a pop. Bringing the bottle's opening to my lips, I chug the water down, the icy liquid numbing my insides.
Detaching the bottle away, I inhale a long mouthy breathe, relieving my teeth. Leaning my rear side on table edge, folding my right arm on my front, placing my left elbow on it, I sipped the water leisurely.
Glancing around the hall, I peer at each moving thing, taking in the atmosphere.
Medallions and title badges were meticulously being placed in trays. Carrying out the task with a smile across her lips, the young girl, possibly a freshie, really seemed overjoyed.
Her cautious actions, seemingly calm, having a frantic manner of their own, perhaps overwhelmed with the responsibility of such prestige.
The feeling of revulsion churns within my stomach, like a dark cloud it persists over me, raining down judgmental thoughts even though I fight to maintain a neutral perspective.
Taking pride in holding other's achievement?
Averting my gaze, I try not to entertain the thought again, but my conscience as always crawls back to the negativity.
"์ค, ์ง์ง? ๋ชฐ๋์ด. ๊ทธ๋ผ ๋ง์ด ๋์น๊ฒ ๋ค."
A deep voice echoes near me, drifting in my direction pulling me out of my trance, the face of the voice pretty known to me.
Dressed in a crisp white shirt and black trousers, he holds a hard disk under his black coat with one hand and a cellphone to his ear with the other.
Sending me a cute smile, he waves his hand in the air, the device greeting me before his hand could, his trailing voice a familiar chime in among all.
Unfolding my arms, I place the used bottle back on the table, mentally noting to throw it right away after this.
Sliding his phone into his pockets, shifting his complete attention on me, the guy extends his palm out infront, gesturing for a handshake.
Clasping his palm in mine, I once again get reminded about his size. His fingers engulf my small(er) palm while I barely manage to get a hold of his.
"Was definitely not expecting you." remarking in a smug tone, he lets go of my palm, my fingers involuntarily clenching into a fist.
"Yeah I am sure you did not." I respond in a sarcastic tone, "But you know, I like disappointing people."
He reciprocates my shrug with a cheeky nod, chuckling at the act.
His voice trails in my ears as he continues the conversation while I try to savor the visual infront of me with the utmost subtlety.
His hair, slicked back with gel, gleamed under the soft light. A silver chain, its links glinting, adorned his wrist. The first two buttons of his shirt were undone, revealing a hint of his toned chest. He was a vision of masculine perfection, a masterpiece crafted by the gods themselves.
I snap out of my frenzy of thoughts, a sudden pitched voice calling out a name brings our conversation to a halt.
"Namjoon!!"
A girl his age appears out of the blue, her shriek voice paining my eardrums as she continues to interact with him, her actions best categorized as annoying atleast by me.
Jungkook
Aiming the ball at the rack of balls in the storage area, focusing my vision, overlooking the huge distance I purposely widened, I threw the ball with all my last strength and bingo!
Seeing the basketball coach approaching me, his hands busy clapping as words of appreciation left his mouth, praising my shot, I walked upto him closing half of the distance in between to not bother him taking more steps.
"Great shot Jeon!!", he praised, hands coming up to pat me on the back making me retreat, not wanting him to have touch my all sweaty back.
"It's fine my boy, I have been a sports person too. There's no problem in appreciating my captain's great game." his palm came in contact with my left bicep nonetheless, patting the skin with pride and praise.
His rough voice and appreciative tone continued as he reminded about the upcoming national university basketball match, the qualified teams, and how it was necessary for us to win.
"The upcoming match is a big deal for us, we are the only ones worthy for the win. We have to bring the trophy home Jeon. We can not miss this." he amplified, hands offering me my handtowel, holding onto the water bottle with other.
"I know sir, I promise to not let you down. I will bring the trophy home.", I affirmed, conforming to his command as I wiped the sweat off of my face, taking the head band off.
Nodding at my response with a confident smile on his face, he strolled around, his walk having the hint of a limp as he approached other team mates.
"Let's freshen up! We have to attend the seminar as well. Only an hour is left before our phones start ringing to no shit.", Taehyung peeked, seating down on the bench nearby, drying the sweat off of his hair.
"Yeah I thought so too, let's go your place. I don't want to shower in the locker rooms today. They must be reeking by now.", rolling my eyes back as I spoke, my voice gagging, disgust evident on my face.
Nodding in agreement to my suggestion, "Yeah. Let's just change into tracks and get the hell out of here. I can't bear the sweat any longer. Gosh I can wait to jump in the shower holy mother," standing up from his seat, he tossed the towel back in his bag before pulling out the tracks.
The cold water drips down from the showerhead, washing away all the sweat and dirt, the low temperature of water creating a dense mist that obliterates the view of the tiles and glass.
The sound of the water falling is soothing as I comb my hair back with my fingers and rub my face. The earlier shivering now fades away, my body accustoming to the cold water.
Cleansing myself for the last time, I step out of the shower, grabbing the towel nearby before wrapping it around my waist.
Peering at my reflection in the mirror, flexing my muscles a couple of times, I check myself out.
Lathering a generous amount of moisturizer on my skin, my skin absorbing the foam, I sprayed the sweet dark musk perfume on my neck, the fragrance leaving a heavy and sensual atmosphere around.
The scent birthing a thought about a certain wooden rose fragrance as I looked down, the shining colored glass only fueling the sensuality in the air.
The evocation of the thought moved my head upwards, my eyes scanning over my own features in the mirror with an unsettling gaze.
Shaking my head side to side, physically dismissing the thought, I untangled the clothe around my waist to dress up, not wanting to waste any time.
Chugging the cold juice down my throat, I pushed another glass infront offering the guy as he stepped out of his own room, hands occupied with his own hair.
Taehyung picked the glass up from the table before muttering a thank you, walking past me to open the fridge to take the strawberries out.
Strawberries.
"Ahg... have some, these ones are really good, Minnie bought these..", Minnie, his girlfriend, had a real sweet tooth.
Picking one out of the basket, bringing my hands near my mouth, I bite onto the red gem, the sweetness melting like ice into my mouth, my eyes closing on their own.
"These are really good, where did she get these from?," I inquired as I took another bite of the berry, my tongue not wanting the taste to fade away.
"I don't know, but I'll let you know" he answered as he placed the basket down, going back to the fridge.
Placing two cold water bottles on the counter in front, he reminded " Let's hurry up before they get started with their shit, I don't want them to even ring my phone" stating in a flat tone, he expressed his displease for the poor council students who were simply obligated to do so.
"Yeah, let's go."
Stepping inside the lobby, we were engulfed in the buzz of activity. Constant moving of students here and there, some carrying huge boxes, others just walking by, some volunteering, some enjoying their drinks in hand, some leaving their classrooms, some just causing chaos.
We walked towards the elevator, eliminating the option for stairs, to not bother our already spent legs.
Pressing the ground floor button, patiently waiting, I looked around just to have a tea and remembrance of the people passing by.
Pinging of the elevator indicated it's arrival, making me turn back straight as we boarded inside.
Another ping sounds in the machine after a few seconds, the elevator doors open revealing the second floor. The particular space out of the whole campus was the most crowded, reason: A Honoring Ceremony For The Achievers Of The University.
Disregarding the piling soreness inside me, I careened in the forward direction, mindful not to collide with someone in the way.
A sudden wave of vibration erupts through my pockets, making me pull my phone out of the space.
"Dong-jae"
Sliding the toggle towards right, I placed the phone next to ear, my head turning sides to look around.
"Turn right, then look straight", the guy on the phone speaks as I followed his directions.
Waving his phone in the air, gesturing me to reach upto him, there stood Dong-Jae in his usual, black fit, his face mirroring my disinterest.
Brushing past a few people on the way, I adjust my position, shifting my weight back and forth to avoid any mishaps.
Suddenly, my steps halt in their trance, my body going all stiff. Waves of shock and surprise come crashing down on me as I try to process the past few seconds.
An unexpected physical interaction, a mere nudge of shoulders, sent chills running down my spine, the electric touch spreading through my chest.
A hypnotizing aroma of deep wooden rose scent lingering in the air slides into my olfactory senses, my eyes going saucer wide recalling the face that wore the scent.
Her.
Jerking my head around, my body moving as if a reflex, my face in the direction a certain someone might have gone.
Engaged in a conversation with the student council president, hands holding onto the hard disk, my front facing her side. The familiar aroma of wooden rose, carried by the cool air around, confirmed my suspicions.
It was her.
"Jeon!!", a sudden forceful shove, aimed at my back, jolted me forward, "You deaf or what?", the two guys flanking around me, one clearly more pissed than other, spoke in unison.
"Huh?", snapping out of frenzy, my voice tumbling as I spoke, my confused reaction doing little to no help improving the expressions on either of their faces.
Letting out a pair of indignant huffs , Dong-Jae shook his head at me, grabbing me by elbows to drag me inside, beside me walked Taehyung, seeming unfazed by the play.
Looking straight ahead, I spot the young woman entering the hall, stopping for a moment near the barricaded ribbons to get her ID checked.
Her raven hair, seeming shoulder length from my spot, moved in a soft motion from side to side, her hands coming up to her face to rake the strands aside.
The knot in my stomach grows again as I blink my eyes without a halt, moving eyeballs to sides to clear my vision. A flurry of thoughts emerge in my head, the core of all: Why is she here?
'She is a student here as well', the thought disrupts the growing tension in my head, my hearts races as I eye her hands on the table, the blue strap of the ID card wrapped around on her wrist affirming to my conclusion.
