Chapter 03: Class Representative and the USJ

Hiro wished she had a bucket of popcorn with her!

Seeing Tenya annoy these vultures of reporters with his praises over All Might was just entertaining!

She giggled behind her hand, seeing how death inside the reporters looked and Tenya just continued on.

Ha!

Awesome!

Then Tenya realized they would be late for class, excused himself by the reporters, who looked glad and took Hiro by the arm to walk to their classroom.

Aww, it was just getting interesting!

“Good work on yesterday's combat training.”, praised Aizawa-Sensei during homeroom hour them. “I saw the video and results. Bakugo. You're talented, so don't act like a kid.”

“I know.”, grumbled the blond.

"And Midoriya...", turned their teacher to the Green Cutie. "You settled it by breaking your arm again, huh? You can't keep saying you can't help it because you can't control your Quirk. I don't like saying the same thing over and over. As long as you fix the control issue, there's a lot you'll be able to do. Feel a sense of urgency, Midoriya."

"Yes, sir!", shouted Izuku passionately.

Hiro had to hide a dreamy sign.

Izuku was so inspiring!

“Now let's get down to homeroom business. Sorry about the late notice, but today, I'll have you…”

Anyone thought: ...take another special test?!

“Decide on a class representative.”

It's actually a normal school activity!

Now all shouted all over each other since they wanted the job, Hiro even so much, that her wings fluttered fast and made her levitate over the ground.

In a normal class, it's about taking on daily duties, so this wouldn't happen.

In a normal class, students might feel like they're just taking on daily duties, and this wouldn't happen.

But here in the hero course, it's a role that allows one to practice being a top hero by leading a group.

Her parents had told Hiro this, both being class-respective in their hero schools.

She felt like she had to carry on the family legacy.

That's when Tenya called loudly over all the voices: “Silence, please! It is a job with the serious responsibility of leading others! It is not a job for just anyone who wants to do it! It is a calling that requires the trust of those around you! If we want to use democracy to decide on a true leader then we should hold an election to choose one!”

All this Tenya said as his arm was raised the highest.

All called him out on this.

“Why did you suggest that?”, asked Denki.

“We haven't known each other for that long, so how can we have trust or anything?”, reminds Tsuyu.

“If that's the case, and everyone votes for themselves…”, says Kirishima.

“Don't you think that is precisely why whoever receives multiple votes here can be truly considered the most suitable person?!”, disagreed Tenya. “What do you think, Aizawa-Sensei?”

Their teacher didn’t care, took his sleeping bag out and got in.

For Aizawa-Sensei it was only important that they finished before homeroom class.

And so they voted.

“I got three votes?!”, shouted Izuku surprised.

Bakugo didn’t like this.

“Why Deku?! Who voted for him?!”

Dry Sero told him it was better than voting for him, while Bakugo got angrier.

Hiro saw how Uraraka was whistling an innocent tune.

Ah, so she was one of the votes for Izuku.

Well, if she hadn't voted for herself, then Hiro would have given her vote to Izuku or Tenya.

Speaking of Tenya he was all doom and gloom about how he didn't get any votes.

Anyway, how he reacted showed how much he wanted the job and all wondered why he gave his vote to someone else.

Aizawa-Sensei called Izuku and Momo to the front of the classroom.

Izuku was sweating from nerves and Momo was cool as a cucumber.

“Then, the class rep is Midoriya, and the deputy class rep will be Yaoyorozu.”, proclaimed Aizawa-Sensei before he lay down again on the ground.

Even if Izuku was in disbelief that he got the job, most of the class seemed happy with him and Momo.

Finally, it was lunchtime!

“There are a lot of people today, too!”, mussed Uraraka, as the four friends sat down to eat.

“That's because everyone in the hero course, support course, and management course meets in the same place.”, explained Tenya.

After they wished each other to enjoy their meal they dug in.

“The rice is so delicious!”, signed Uraraka dreamly.

Hiro nodded in agreement slupring her Ramen Noodles down.

“Even though I've been chosen as class rep, I don't know if I'm qualified for it.”, told Izuku them his worries.

“You are.”, said Uraraka.

"I'm with Ochaco.", agreed Hiro. "You are more amazing than you think Izuku!"

This made the boy blush cutely.

Aww, Hiro wanted to kiss his cheeks!

“It'll be fine.”, reassured Tenya Izuku. “Your courage and judgment at critical moments make you worth following. That is why I voted for you.”

Flabbergasted Izuku shouted: “It was you?!”

“But didn't you want to be class rep, too, Iida?”, asked Ochaco. “I mean, you have got glasses and everything.”

“What have glasses to do with this? I have them too and the only vote I got was from myself.”, said Hiro amused.

"Well you know, people with glasses are smart and responsible!", answers Ochaco.

"And you are a cutie pie!"

Cutely Ochaco hides behind her hands.

"Aww, stop it, Hiro!"

“Wanting to do it and being suitable for it are different issues.", directed Tenya their conversation back to the former topic. "I merely did what I judged to be correct.”

“I've been thinking...Are you a rich boy, Iida?”, asked Ochaco, what she and Izuku wanted to know.

“Rich—! I tried to change how I talked because I didn't want to be called that. Yes, my family has been heroes for generations. I'm the second son.”

The two were flashed by this revelation.

"Ah you know now it makes sense, why you and Hiro are best friends. Her parents are successful Pro-Heroes too.", mussed Ochaco.

Izuku nodded in agreement, while Hiro laughed sheepishly.

Will it was kind of true.

“Do you know the Turbo Hero, Ingenium?”, questioned Tenya.

Of course, local hero-fan, Izuku know him, saying how he's a really popular hero who has sidekicks working at his Tokyo agency.

Proud Tenya declared how this was his older brother.

He told them because of his brother, who honours the rules and leads people, he wants to become a superhero.

However, he feels he still isn’t ready to lead people, not like Izuku surely could.

“This might be the first time I've seen you smile, Iida.”, said Uraraka.

“What, really? I smile!”

"Yeah, but so rare, we should check if pigs didn't start to fly!", joked Hiro.

For that, Tenya dishevelled her red hair like a big brother, while Hiro made a raspberry.

Suddenly a loud alarm sounded.

“There has been a Level 3 security breach.”, informed a female voice. “All students please evacuate outdoors promptly.”

Not knowing what Level 3 meant Tenya asked one of the older students.

It meant someone was trespassing on school grounds!

So our four heroes-to-be followed after the other students, who fled the cafeteria.

Sadly since all were so fearful, they created a mass of shoving and pushing limps.

Hiro had lost her friends and had to push away people, so they didn't harm her delicate wings.

Damn!

It was like battling against a tidal wave!

Out of nowhere, she saw Tenya in the air and he used his Quirk Engine to boost him to the Exit.

He stood at the door and yelled loudly and clearly: “Everyone, everything is fine! It is just the media! There is nothing to panic about! Everything is fine! This is U.A.! Let us act in a way befitting the best of the best!”

Finally, everybody calmed down.

They saw also how the police arrived and took the reports away.

Puh!

Good riddance!

After they returned to their classroom for their next school hour, it was time to decide on the other class officers, however, Izuku surprised anyone.

He told how Tenya, who in a crisis managed to calm everyone down and lead, should be the class rep and not him.

Tenya was unsure, but the class motivated him to take the job.

So Tenya became class rep and Momo stayed deputy.

Afternoon class started, which meant of course Hero Basic Training!

“For today's hero basic training, it's turned into a class with three instructors, All Might and me, and one more person.”, explained Aizawa-Sensei their class.

All were surprised.

Sero even raised his hand and asked: “Excuse me! What will we be doing?”

“Disasters, shipwrecks, and everything in between. It's rescue training.”

Everyone talked about how excited they were for it, how good they would do and similar things.

Aizawa-Sensei called for order and told them for this training they could wear whatever they wanted even their hero suits.

Then how they would take the bus to drive to the location.

With this, the teens all took their costumes, got changed in the locker rooms and then walked to the bus, which was waiting for them.

Tenya made his job as class rep all honour, with a whistle and a plan to board the bus.

Sadly his plan was nought since it was a bus that faced seat to seat.

“I didn't think it'd be this type of bus...!”, lamented Tenya.

“There was no point, huh?”, agreed Mina.

"Ah, you will get another chance Tenya.", reassured him Hiro.

She was quite happy sitting beside Izuku.

Been so close she could smell his jasmine and sandalwood smell.

It was really nice!

“I say whatever comes to mind Midoriya.”, turned Tsuyu to him.

Izuku blushed a bit and answered: “Um, yes, Asui?!”

“Call me "Tsu."”

“Um…”

“Your Quirk is like All Might's.”

“Huh?! Y-Y-You think so?”

Why did he react so in panic?

“Wait a sec, Tsu, All Might doesn't get hurt when he uses his.", reminded Eijiro. "They just kind of look the same.”

Izuku let out a relieved breath, while Hiro wondered what was up with that, as Eijiro continued: "But it's nice to have a simple augmenting-type Quirk. You can do lots of flashy stuff! My Hardening's strong against others, but unfortunately, it doesn't look like much.”

“I think it's really cool! It's a Quirk that can definitely pass as a pro!”, encouraged Izuku.

“A pro's, huh? But you have to think about popularity as a hero, too, you know.”

It was like Aoyama had waited for a moment to hype himself up: “My Navel Laser is pro-level in both flashiness and strength.”

Only for Mina to bring him down to earth to remind him how he gets always a stomach ache.

“Well, if you're talking about flashy and strong, it's gotta be Todoroki and Bakugou, though, huh?”, mussed Eijiro.

"Bakugou's always mad, so he doesn't seem like he'll be popular, though.", pointed Tsu out.

"What the hell! You wanna fight!", shouted Bakugo, jumping up from his seat.

"See?"

"We haven't known each other that long, so it's amazing that everyone already knows his personality is crap steeped in sewage.", added Denki.

This made Katsuki even angrier.

"What's with that vocabulary, bastard?! I'll kill you!"

Hiro stared confused at how Izuku was covering in his seat and shaking, while the other still roasted Katsuki.

"Izuku, are you all right?", asked Hiro laying a hand on his shoulder.

A girl...is touching my shoulder?!

"Y-Yeah, Hiro, I-I'm o-okay!"

Confused Hiro just blinked.

Being okay was something different in her book.

It was then that Aizawa-Sensei informed them they had reached their destination and warned them to act respectfully.

They enter the enormous building where another Pro-Hero waits for them.

“Everyone, I have been waiting for you.”

“It's the Space Hero, Thirteen!”, fanboyed Izuku. “The gentlemanly hero who has rescued tons of people from disasters!”

“Oh, I love Thirteen!”, told Uraraka.

“Let's go inside without delay.”

In Aww, the teens saw so many different big locations, a shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, a windstorm and other situations which demonstrated a rescue.

It reminds them all of the Universel Studios Japan.

“It is a training ground that I made with different types of accidents and disasters. It's called the "Unforeseen Simulation Joint," or "USJ" for short!”, said Thirteen.

It really is USJ.

Aizawa-Sensei asked Thirteen where All Might was.

They whispered a bit with each other before their teacher turned annoyed with them and told them they would start the lesson without All Might.

Then Thirteen took over: “Before we begin, let me say one thing, or two...three... four... five... six... seven…”

It's increasing...!

“Everyone, I am sure you are aware of my Quirk, Black Hole. I can suck up anything and turn it to dust.”

“You have been able to use that Quirk to save people from all kinds of disasters, right?”, said Izuku.

Thirteen agreed but told them how his power could easily kill. He bet a lot of them had similar powers. With Aizawa, they learned their borders, and with All Might how to fight against other humans, now they would learn to use their Quirks to save people.

Out of nowhere the lights flickered and got out.

On the water fountain formed a black-purple vortex.

Out of it looked someone who had a severed hand on his face.

What the…?!

“Gather together and don't move!”, commanded Aizawa-Sensei. “Thirteen, protect the students!”

Out of the vortex stepped the strange guy with the hand on his face and a lot of other people.

Kirishima wondered if this was like the entrance exam.

Aizawa-Sensei disagreed: “Those are villains.”

All the young heroes-to-be gasped in shock.

Oh no, what would happen now?!

In the lottery of Quirk’s Michi got on really special and annoying one. A living, sarcastic ribbon named Ares, who puts her into superpowered revealing outfits. But this won't stop the girl from fulfilling her dream of being a hero! Just watch her!

Chapter 15: Let the Battles Begin

After Izuku won against Shinso, he was brought to Recovery Girl to fix his fingers.

Michi, Tenya and Ochaco still talked about how amazing Izuku had been, how he had managed to overcome the brainwashing and how happy they were for him moving up to the Quarter-Final Round.

That's when Ochaco saw Izuku coming to class 1A tribune.

"Oh, Deku! Good work!", she called and waved.

So fast no one could look as Michi jumped up from her seat and raced up to the boy.

"Izu-Chan!", she shouted happily and embraced him. "You were amazing!"

The green-haired boy blushed softly and hugged her tight back.

"Michi-Kun...thanks."

They stopped hugging, as Michi took his hand with the bandage fingers in hers, giving them a little kiss.

Izuku blushed harder but had a soft and loving look in his eyes.

"T-to kiss it better, mmh?", he stuttert.

Michi looked up, with the same eyes and nodded.

Both were clearly in lovey-dovey land.

All their classmates stared and sweatdropped at them.

Oh gods, kiss finally you idiots!, they all thought.

Sadly they didn't, a lot groaned silently, as Michi led Izuku to their seats beside Ochaco and Tenya.

Now the second battle took place.

Shoto Todoroki vs. Hanta Sero!

Hanta started the battle by using his tape to try to push Shoto out of bounds. However, Shoto responded by creating a huge pillar of ice, which completely immobilized Hanta and freed himself at the same time. Since Hanta couldn't move at all, he was declared the loser, and Shoto was declared the winner, advancing to the second round. Shoto then approached the almost frozen Hanta, apologized for his actions, and thawed him out with his firepower.

Michi and Izuku found each other eyes.

"Is it just me or-", began Michi.

"Does Todoroki look really sad?", enden Izuku.

Both their hearts got out to their classmate.

Since Shoto froze nearly the whole stage, it takes a while to melt it, but when it's ready it's time for Denki Kaminari vs. Ibara Shiozaki!

The third match of the first round ends quickly; Ibara defeats Denki by using her type advantage Quirk, Vine, to make his Electro Quirk backfire on him.

Kyoka facepalms hard at Denki's defeat as Monoma from 1B looks over to them and mocks them.

Then he gets knocked out by his classmate Itsuka Kendo, who apologises for him, being a brat.

Class 1A was just like what had happened?

That's when class 1A noted Izuku's analysis of the Quirks, writing it down in his notebook.

Just Michi didn't seem bothered and nodded along.

"They just finished, but Deku already thinking about countermeasures for them?", whisper-shoutes Ochaco to Michi.

Michi nods with a besotted look.

"Yeah isn't he amazing?"

All of class 1A deadpanned and thought the same: She is so gone for him!

"It's a hobby of his.", explains Michi, while Izuku theorizes about the Quirks to his heart contents. She would make sure, he wrote all down what goes through his head. "It's not every day he gets a chance to see amazing Quirks outside of those in our class."

"Really?", asked Ochaco.

"Yeah, he has even a whole notebook dedicated to my Quirk.", admitted Michi with red cheeks. You can clearly see how honoured she feels about this. "I bet he has something about your Quirk too. Izu-Chan?"

Only Michi's lovely voice could get Izuku out of his zone, so he turned bliking to her.

"Yeah, what is it Michi-Kun?"

"What do you have about Ochaco-Chan Quirk in your notebook?"

"Of course!", he showed the girls the page. "The Zero Gravity of Uraraka is amazing."

"That's true.", agreed Michi.

This made Ochaco blush.

"Aww, you two are so nice! I always thought you guys were amazing!"

Also an amazing and cute couple!, she added in her head, while Izuku and Michi thanked her and said she was amazing too.

Then it's time for the fourth match.

Their Tenya VS Mei Hatsume!

Both wore support items, but students of the hero course normally can only wear them when they have a petition like Aoyama.

However Tenya explain passionately how Mei said they should fight equally and that's why he agreed to wear them, this moves Midnight and she accepts it.

During their match, Mei takes the opportunity to advertise her support equipment and items.

After ten minutes of cat and mouse, Mei, feeling that she has effectively showcased her support gear to everyone, walks out of bounds.

Tenya wins as a result of this action, but he is not pleased with Mei using him for her own purposes.

"Tenya's earnest, so she probably said some things that sounded good to get him on board.", theorized Izuku shaking. "Hatsume's not just honest, she will also use any means to reach her goal. Amazing!"

Michi had an eyebrow raised and nodded along.

None of the two noted how Ochaco stood up and walked away.

Now comes the Fifth Match: Yuga Aoyama vs. Mina Ashido.

"I hope Mina wins, Aoyama goes on my nerves.", confessed Michi to Izuku.

"Don't tell me, it's because he is French and you Italian?"

"I plead the fifth!"

"Michi-Kun!"

The battle begins with Aoyama firing his navel laser at Mina, but she secretes acid from her feet and uses it to quickly slide across the stage. 

Aoyama continues shooting beams at her, while Mina claims she already knows his weakness because they trained together during the Battle Trial. 

Mina keeps dodging Aoyama's barrage of beams.

After he misses a rather large shot, his stomach begins to hurt, and Mina seizes the opportunity.

She throws acid onto his belt, breaking it and causing his pants to drop. 

The girl takes advantage of the opening and finishes him with a strong uppercut.

She wins!

"God, it didn't need to see his underwear.", whines Michi and hides her face in Izuku's shoulder.

Amused he pats her head.

"There, there Michi-Kun, also you should get going, it's your turn now!"

"Oh right!"

With a quick cheek kiss to Izuku, who of course blushes, Michi raced down to the arena.

"Ares are you ready to face Momo?"

"Let's do it, whirlwind!"

"Now, we've got no time to lose! Let's move on to the sixth match!", announced Present Mich as Michi and Momo walked up the fighting stage. "Offense and defence in one body! The warrior princess is accompanied by the entity Ares! From the hero course, it's Massaro Michela alias Michi! Versus-- All-purpose Creation! She was admitted through recommendations, so her abilities are certified! From the hero course, it's Momo Yaoyorozu!"

Both girls stared at each other, thinking how to best beat their opponent.

Momo knew Michi was physically stronger than her she needed something to help her push the other girl out of the ring and also there was this new technique she showed during the cavalry battle.

Had Michi more surprises up her sleeve?

Michi and Ares just stared Momo down with their red eyes.

They formally burned.

N-No, I can't get demotivated because the two are so calm. I need time to create and then-

Then the battle started!

Surprised Momo gasped as Michi seemed to vanish, but the salmon-haired girl just ran as fast as she could towards Momo.

I'm sorry Momo, but this will be over!

Something hard hit Momo in the chest.

A fist!

Michi's fist!

The black-haired girl coughed and felt how some of her bones cracked and fell down on the floor.

Knocked-out.

Midnight waited a few seconds before she declared: "Yaoyorozu can't fight anymore, the winner is Massaro!"

"This was probably the fastest fight we have seen today. Massaro Michi and Ares are a force of nature!", shouted Present Mic enthusiastically, as Michi waved at the people celebrating her.

Momo was brought to Recovery Girl, even if Michi knew, she only hit the other girl where it was sure she could get knocked out.

Still, she felt a bit bad as she walked back to the class 1A tribune.

"Damn, your girlfriend is merciless.", said Ojiro to Izuku. "She didn't even bat an eye as she punched Momo out."

"Michi and Ares are the strongest Quirk Users I know. Even Kacchan can't beat her and he tried it often enough. I know she would win, it was not even a question.", answered Izuku, just to turn red and shriek. "M-Michi i-isn't my girlfriend, s-she is just my best friend."

"SUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!", chorused the whole of class 1A together.

"I don't believe you!", added Mineta.

That's when Michi returned.

"I hope Momo will be okay...so did I miss something guys?"

Izuku stood up and waved his hands around.

"N-Nothing, you missed nothing Michi-Kun!"

She blinked confused as she noted how Tenya and Ochaco were missing.

So she asked Izuku where they were.

He didn't know either, so the two searched for their friends.

They found them in the Player Waiting Room 2.

"Ochaco-Chan, Tenya!", greeted Michi as Izuku and her entered the room. "There you are."

Tenay bowed.

"I'm sorry I didn't watch your match Michi, I was worried for Ochaco."

"I'm sorry too, I should have supported you.", admits Ochaco ashamed. "How did it go?"

Izuku put a proud hand on Michi's shoulder, while she smiled at them.

"She knocked out Momo with one punch. Michi has qualified for the next round."

Tenya gave her his congratulations and Ochaco stood up to hug her friend.

Michi hugged her tight back and then took her face in her hands.

"So what is bothering you Ochaco-Chan, is it your fight with Bakugo?"

The brunette nodded.

In comfort, Michi took her hands and squeezed them.

"Ochaco-Chan, Bakugo may seem dangerous but when you know how to handle him, you can beat him. I did it often enough!"

Izuku nodded in agreement and showed her his hero notebook.

"Michi and I came up with a rough strategy, how you can use your Quirk to beat Kacchan. Please let us help."

Touched Ochaco looked at her friends before she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

She let go of Michi's hands and walked over to the door.

"Michi-Chan, Deku I admired you both so much. I keep seeing more and more amazing sides of you guys. During the cavalry battle, I thought it'd be easier to team up with friends, but now that I think about it, I might've been trying to rely on you two. That's why, when Tenya said he'd challenge Deku, it actually made me feel a little embarrassed."

The other started to protest, but Ochaco continued: "That's why it's fine. Everyone's facing the future and trying their hardest. That means we're all rivals, right? That's why, let's meet in the finals!"

Ochaco gave them a shaking thumbs up.

"Wait, Ochaco-Chan before you go!", Michi walked swiftly up to her and planted a soft kiss on her cheek.

The other girl blushed surprised, as the boys stared.

Izuku the most.

Michi didn't give cheek kisses to anyone.

So it had to mean something.

"This is not a good luck kiss, but a promise kiss!", explained Michi, her red eyes burning as she took Ochaco's hands and squeezed them. "I know you can beat Bakugo and you know why?"

"Why?"

"Because you are already an amazing hero. Your Quirk will demolish him."

Now tears gather in Ochaco's eyes and both girls hugged each other tightly.

"Break his fucking femur!"

"I will Michi-Chan!"

Both girls seemed to be burning like suns!

"Girls, breaking femurs is a bit too much!", told Tenya making his hand chop.

"Let them Tenya, that's a girl thing, I'm sure.", said Izuku. "Or at least a Michi and Ochaco thing."

After the boys wished Ochaco luck, the three who didn't fight got back to the tribune, while Ochaco had to face Bakugo now in the arena.

The match between Bakugo and Ochaco kicks off with Ochaco taking the initiative.

She lunges towards Bakugo, but he swiftly counters with an explosive attack.

As the dust settles, Bakugo attempts to seize Ochaco, only to discover that her jacket is all that's left.

Seizing the opportunity, Ochaco manoeuvres herself behind Bakugo to launch a surprise attack, but his lightning-fast reflexes allow him to fend her off with another explosive blast.

Despite the barrage of explosive attacks from Bakugo, Ochaco expresses her gratitude for his vigilance, as it enables her to put her plan into action - creating a distraction by manipulating the rubble using her Quirk.

She unleashes a meteor shower of debris, with the intention of launching a direct offensive using her Quirk.

However, Bakugo retaliates with a colossal explosion, annihilating Ochaco's meteor shower and sending her crashing to the ground.

Despite her valiant effort to rise, Ochaco's injuries overwhelm her, leading to her collapse.

Midnight attends to her and announces that Ochaco is unable to continue, declaring Bakugo as the victorious contender.

"GOOD FUCKING DAMN IT!", screams Michi. "SHE NEARLY HAD HIM! FUCK!"

The salmon-haired girl was standing up, waving angrily her fists around.

Izuku and Tenya can only silently agree.

And so the first round of the final was over and in the next round the Quarter-Final Round the matches were:

Izuku Midoriya vs. Shoto Todoroki

Tenya Ida vs. Ibara Shiozaki

Michela Massaro vs. Mina Ashido

Katsuki Bakugo vs. Eijiro Kirishima!

Michi glared at Shoto standing before her, with Izuku by her side.

They found themselves at different sides in one of the entrances to the Sports Arena, aiming to join their friends for a meal.

However, Shoto halted their plans.

He insisted on talking to them, so here they were.

"So... What did you want to talk about?", broke Izuku the silence between them.

There was no answer from the white-red-haired teen, just a cold look.

"Listen I don't know what your problem is.", began Michi. "But if you don't hurry there will be no food left in the cafeteria and Izuku and I want to eat. So what is it that you want, Todoroki."

"I was overpowered. So much so that I broke my pledge.", said Shoto.

Izuku and Michi thought the same. Was Shoto talking about his left side, the fireside, he never uses?

The boy with the scar on his face stared at his left hand.

"Iida, Kaminari, Yaoyorozu, Uraraka. None of them felt it. At that last instant, I was the only one who was overpowered. Only me, who had experienced All Might's full power up close."

This made Michi stop waving her hands around in excuse.

If you, Midoriya, have something from the number one hero, then I have even more reason to beat you. The same goes for you Massaro, you may be not connected to All Might like Midoriya, but your Quirk is unique and powerful. You showed again and again how strong you are. You could become the number one, one day, without problems, so I have to beat you too."

"Why is this so important to you?", wondered Michi.

"My old man has a strong desire to rise in the world. As a hero, he won a name for himself with crushing force. Because of that, the living legend, All Might, is a great eyesore to him. Since he couldn't surpass All Might, he moved on to his next plan."

"What are you talking about, Todoroki...?", asked Izuku. "What are you trying to tell us?"

When I was born their Quirks mixed and created my Quirk Enity, Ares here. He fell from my skin a pretty living ribbon. This gave people the confirmation that my parents wanted to create a stronger Quirk because dear god a Japanese woman and an Italian man can't love each other truly. It weighs on my parents, that's why I don't have siblings. They don't want to create more children with powerful Quirks like me."

Even if Izuku knew this story already, he hugged Michi tightly, stroking her hair to calm her down. He knew she desired a sibling, but her parents had decided how she was enough.

Michi heard how Izuku took a deep breath and now she was the one hugging him.

I want to become a hero because I feel it's my duty to do good with this Quirk, but it doesn't mean I will let one of you two surpass me. I want to be on the Top too, like my idol Seraphina, the number one in Italy. So you have to surpass me, while I will get stronger anyway. Let's see who will beat the other. In the next round...we are all rivals!"

Wind danced around all three, as they silently agreed to give their best to beat each other.

She agreed and started her hunt for something to eat.

The One-On-One round began.

Since Izuku was first, he couldn't sit with his friends, but Michi, Ochaco and Tenya kept a place free for him.

Then it was time for Shinso and Izuku to face off.

Shinso just started to talk and insult Ojiro, which Izuku didn't like.

The green-haired boy stormed to the other boy talking back and then froze.

"I went through the trouble of warning him, too!", shouted Ojiro.

"Oh no Deku?!", shrieked Ochaco.

"What is going on?", wondered Tenya.

Worried for Izuku Michi turned to him. "Ojiro, what's with Izuku, why is he a statue?!"

"That's his Quirk!", Ojiro answered. "If you respond to him you will do anything he asks for!"

"NO!", shouted the three friends together.

"IZUKU!", screamed Michi with all that she got. "WAKE UP! DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!"

But it was useless Izuku walked to the border.

If he stepped over it, Shinso won.

Then something extraordinary happened!

Izuku managed to free himself from the brainwashing with a snip of his fingers!

Michi and Ochaco embrace each other jumping up and down happily, while Tenya celebrate.

Then it was simple for Izuku.

He didn't answer anymore Shinso, whatever he said to provoke him and then throw him out of the ring.

So the first fight was over and the winner of the first round was Izuku!

His friends celebrated harder, Michi and Ochaco even danced around the seats, so happy they were.
