Niffty doesn't want to sleep (nightmares) She goes to Alastor for company.

The 2 of them cook and have an unwanted guest on Alastor's part.

Includes a radio drama! She basically gets a bedtime story and a snack!

Who would come knocking at his door at this hour? He wondered. He wasn't expecting any visitors, and most of the hotel staff and guests were asleep by now. "Come in!" He said, in his cheerful voice that masked his annoyance.

Niffty stepped into the room in her night dress, and a sleep mask on her head. She saw him sitting in his chair, holding a book in his hands. She took note of the chair opposite him.

"Niffty darling, what do you need?" He asked, putting his book aside and concentrating on Niffty.

"I can't sleep and I know you are awake... As always." She said, in a timid voice. She walked towards him and climbed on his lap, cuddling with him. "So what are you reading about?"

"I'm reading a book of old radio dramas, my dear. They are very amusing and thrilling, and they remind me of the good old days." He said, showing her the cover of the book. It had a picture of a microphone and a title that read "The Golden Age of Radio". He opened the book and pointed to a page. "This one is my favorite. It's called 'The Shadow', and it's about a mysterious vigilante who can cloud men's minds and fight crime. He has a catchphrase that goes like this: 'Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!' Isn't that marvelous?" He said, imitating the voice of the narrator. He chuckled, and looked at her. "Do you like it?" He asked, hoping to interest her.

"I do! I do! It sounds very exciting. Can you read it to me?" She asked, eagerly.

"Of course, I can." He said, smiling at her.
