Okay listen. Do I want Mike Wheeler to be vecna’d? Hell yes. I think his character needs it, honestly. Do I think he will be? Probably not. See, he is almost always standing on the sidelines of another character going through something he can’t help with (The one exception being when he almost jumped off a cliff for Dustin)

(Will being possessed, El closing the portal and disappearing, Will and El disappearing or leaving, the whole final star court mall fight, etc.)

He is almost never the one in the most direct danger. Even in the newest season he was benched and had to play support again.

The Duffers seem content with this formula (one thing they rely heavily on) and I don’t think it’s going to change. Which is sad because I think his character could honestly thrive from being Vecna’d and finally being the one in the most direct danger.

ugh yes i could go on about these two for forever

first of all, they bicker like an old married couple but we already know that

i think they’re very good at comforting each other when one is upset

max knows when mike is upset that he just wants to coexist and be quiet until he’s ready to talk, and he doesn’t really want advice, he just wants to vent. and max is perfectly patient and great at listening when he’s ready

when max is upset, mike will often take her on drives and blast her favorite music bc she just likes her environment to feel as angry/upset as her brain and the stimulation is good for her. she’ll then open up to him when they’re in the car eating some fast food after driving around together

max may make fun of dnd all the time, but i think she’s secretly intrigued

she doesn’t want to express her interest to everyone though so she just tells mike and she and mike privately train her up

then she shows up to a hellfire session and everyone’s like ?????

and then she starts playing and kicks all their asses bc she’s super high level and great at what she does

mike has always wanted to learn to skateboard

and after he helped her with dnd, max agrees to teach him

so she teaches him in private and when he gets “good enough” he shows his new skills to everyone else

and max wants to get him his own board for his birthday and she asks will for help and they spray paint and decorate the back of it together!!

also max wins a bet and mike has to dress as wonder woman for halloween

Yea no same. They’ve killed something like 12 characters and brought back every single main cast character they’ve killed leaving only like 9 dead. (El, Hopper, Max, was there another one?)(technically Will but not rlly)

They need to keep people dead because if they bring Eddie back I’m assuming everyone’s safe.

Am I the only one that wants Eddie to stay dead? Like not for any real animosity, but because ST has literally pulled so many fakeout deaths. It would drive me bonkers if they did that for a character that was only there for a season, at least it's somewhat understandable when it's the main cast.

Also I saw someone theorizing Eddie might come back as a vampire bc someone named Billy did in IT and I am not shaming, but like wouldn't that point more to Max coming back bc y'know she's in a coma and she literally had an older brother named Billy-
